This washing machine and dryer was just delivered and installed today. So I'm really looking forward to your maintenance videos so I can have it last a decade or two. Your videos persuaded me to buy it.
Glad to hear you are still enjoying your set. I'm still liking mine too. I started to get the model with the LCD screen in the knob but when i did the side by side comparison online it wasn't worth the extra couple hundred for extra cycles that I probably wouldn't use
Yes its still going strong! I honestly feel you'll have less issues without the LCD screen In the future. But besides that, there basically the same machines with a few added features. Hope you continue to enjoy this set. Thanks for watching!
I just purchased this set at the end of August and got a Labor Day sale. I got them at $760 each. The last set I had was the TROMM set. Yes, I got the pedestals also.
Can you do a running cycle. I just bought an LG and returned it cause it made a light ringing noise. I ordered another and did the same thing. I’m watching videos and I’m noticing some top load washers are doing the same. So I might have to go back to front loaders. It’s a very white noise sound. Almost like a dog whistle. So I’m wondering if this washer does the same.
Hi, like the review, I am blind, just wondering if you have the issue that the light does not follow the knob? so when you set the knob and you think it is set for say heavy duty, it selects bedding? It does going towards the right too. So should I set my eero mesh to turn off 5 g when setting my app up?
Great video! We just got our set yesterday and I was playing with the dryer's steam fresh function, however once the cycle was done, the shirt I used for testing was still wet / really damp. Have you experienced similar issues or do you have any suggestions? Thanks!
The machine itself is not integrated with Alexa, however the LG thin Q App is supported in the alexa app skill. After you get your machines connected to the LG thin Q app, you can go to the alexa app and add the LG thinq skill. After connection, alexa will announce when your washer or dryer or dishwasher or any LG products that has thinQ. When our LG appliances are done, alexa announces thru my home. " your front load washer is done" for example.
As a 30 year retired sears service tech I hope you purchased the extended warranty ! Lg electronics seem to go south after about 3-5 years. . Door boot leaks are very common. Hope you have deep pockets for the repairs ! Parts for these are a little tough to get. Most are all ordered. Enjoy! 👍
Yes I did purchase the extended warranty. But I'll say that it seems most people that have issues from these machines lack the regular maintenance in their homes. I'm going to continue taking care of these units and hope for the best. Thanks for watching
Yea - most people (sad to say) have terrible laundry habits...... so if a repair tech has to go out and sees all of these issues, it's likely from someone that does no maintenance and is hard on machines... In 2005 I was told the front load washer I bought I would be lucky to get 7 to 10 years from it...boy were they wrong
