Are Modded players BETTER than Vanilla in Rust? Let's find out! I've found two teams BOTH with 10,000 hours but completely different backgrounds and they'll be building the best Rust base they can think of in line with the servers they usually play, then they'll be getting raided by my professional team of gamers. What is Rust? Rust is an INTENSE PVP multiplayer survival game that I've played for THOUSANDS of hours. I've gone on MASSIVE Solo adventures, clan wipes, HUGE raids and just about every experience under the Sun. It's a game that can have the most intense nail biting moments, or you can spend hours doing nothing interesting, The way the cookie crumbles can never be predicted and of course I save the absolute best bits for you guys. Whether it's PvP moments, epic counter raids or my clan messing with each other, everything you need to experience Rust is right here on the Max Mears channel. I hope you enjoy, peace.

While I agree team damage should have been on during the vanilla raid. The modded raid should not have team damage as many modded servers have the ability to turn team damage on/off

What ive realized as Ive played rust and got older is ive got less time so playing high modded servers 5x-10x and such it gives me the boost of fighting and raiding but with less grind and i dont have to spend 3-4days getting a base and guns or such.

You don't know how to progress if it takes you 3-4 days. We play duo and have ak and base done day one easily.

@qxuv. Totally agree with you I work alot of hour's so I play on a heavily modded server and within 30min to 1 hour we have built and gone raiding and fought off counter raids. I rather play modded than vanilla it just fits my time so much better.

Vanilla benefits: -Better Base Builds especially for vanilla because designs need to be expandable -Better prim play -More interactions with people -Eco raiding, basic trading economy, farm bases leading to big clan feuds Modded: -More gunplay -Hyper awareness because everything is deadly even from far away -End game bases and practice -Mostly smaller groups Both have their ups and down imho

I really just want to see the builders battling it out. Defending their builds from one another. You could make a tournament thingy for it, where teams have team names and the teams come back for later episodes to try to advance to first place overall.

Max, I think a good video would be to have raiders vs raiders. Meaning, pick your best 2 or 3 raiding teams and time them raiding a good base with defenders. It would have to be the same base and defenders each time but would force the raiders to be clever on how they raid but also time effective

fyi you dont use stone high walls because you want to encourage raiders to go through your compound walls not your gatehouses as they are more easy to hold/seal etc

Damn I remember playing rust, got carried by my friends so much. I remember one of our bases ended up getting raided by three big clans on the server and the Helli cuz they dragged it over to us. It was so damn fun and the fact we pushed them back was even funnier😂 we’re a trio btw lol

i like to play both becuase my loot means more on vanilla but i can build a bigger base on modded and the online is longer cause more counters more rockets and bigger base and defending an online is arguably the most fun thing in the game

You should have a professional builder for each team, to assist with building. They wouldn't be fully building, just assisting.

The defenders always seem to lose on attrition. I think it would be fun to see the defenders win more often and shorter raids and more equipment for both sides

I felt like the modded base was just extra spammy which made it more difficult to raid. not really a better design. also, the raid team was kinda regarded and probably took 10 minutes longer than they should have

I personally think both bases should always have the same amount of rocket value if they are given the same amount of time and recourses. Because its silly how someone would take advantage of a bigger base just to get nerfed because they had a larger base design

To be honest, its kinda stupid allowing the defenders to hide tc i random places. In a real raid, tc loot is rarely what u are going for. Also it doesnt show how good the base or the players are, just shows how good the defenders are at hiding the tc

Can teammates damage each other? I saw some weird stuff going on. Also, with so many rockets.. and it being 4v2, I would never expect the raiders to lose. If two hold while two raid, it should be GG.

Realistically 10x is more fun than vanilla. It’s less of what sucks about rust (the farming, farming, and farming) and more of what’s fun (the raiding, pvp, and building)

Big base was given too many rockets raiders don’t deserve credit for the raid of the modded base they use like 40 rockets just PvP rocketing they could of foundy wiped the middle of the base and just left a china wall if they wanted too
