One of Graham Carr's last games in charge, after which the team were booed off despite what on paper looked to be a respectable scoreline. Although it was played on a Saturday the game only attracted an attendance of just over 2,000 - a microcosm of the dark days before Billy Ayre took charge.
@@lennylaa1686 Blackpool were 4-0 up at half time against the worst team in the league, but were so poor in the second where they conceded two unanswered goals. Crowds were poor at that time because Blackpool were awful, and the ground was in a very poor condition.
