Someone needs to make a detailed tutorial on how to do this because I am interested in designing my own sirens after I scrape up enough money to afford a motor
My grinder is 10/12 port. Rotors are 129mm diameter. I didn't need any weights, i just put the rotors on each side, printed in 20 percent infill, and the winddown is really nice. It's insanely loud, and definitely maxes my mic. I've released the STL's on Thingiverse if anyone ever wants to print it
The space between the rotor and stator is very very minimal. You can hear it rubbing a little bit during the video. It's my tightest fitted siren I have
@@clumoostudios3585 mine is pretty close tho, maybe 1 - 3 mm away from the stator i would show you an image but you dont have discord, yours design is also different, i wonder if that makes a difference tho
@@t2cm2a7 I got discord. @ClumooStudios #1314. Also yes about the designs. Mines a high efficiency blower rotor with curved fins to produce the most amount of wind. It's loud for its size, 120mm in diameter
@@clumoostudios3585 oh you have discord now less goo Ill send you a friend request soon, you should tell me a bit about the designs so i can improve my siren
