Thank. For your content and easy to follow tutorials... yes im really learning. Who said old digs cant learn! Thank you also for straight talking with zero expletives. Thanks Dr Vax. Awesome info. I just printed a test Benchy but am having trouble getting the bas off the bottom. Can you tell me hat settings I should be looking at please? Cheers
Thank you so much for this. I cannot find the right setting so see everything the same you do when previewing. I cannot see all the colours you have in Cura. I also have it set to layer view and Line Type. Any advice will be most welcome.
*Eres un gran maestro, describes paso a paso, para que todo el mundo entienda, los mejores saludos desde argentina, espero pronto el proximo video* You are a great teacher, you describe step by step, so that everyone understands, the best greetings from Argentina, I hope soon the next video
Great video. What version of CURA are you using? I have never seen the option to see the print progress of a layer. I use the preview all the time, but can only see one layer at a time, not the movement within a layer.
I am planning to do a video where I will print without tops each of the fill patterns available and show and discuss them in a video. My list of potential videos is getting quite long and I have two new printer reviews I will be doing over the next few weeks. So it may be a while but I will get to it.
I've been chasing an under extrusion problem on a new printer for days now, going through settings with a microscope, doing test prints on evolutions of findings, bed leveling after bed leveling (though I did also find that the bed is so warped that I got a replacement out of the warranty department) etc, and still having them fail. I came across one of your videos (and have been binging them in the background since!) and may have finally found the problem, and man, it's a massive face palm. Somehow in all the custom profiles I made for a non-supported printer (a massive delta in Cura), after upgrading to 4.5, the filament reverted to the base 2.85, and of course I'm using 1.75. And somehow I got through the printer tab just fine and missed the extruder tab. Oh $#!t!! Guess who just had a massive deletion party wiping 2 weeks of prep models...
Very good video as always and a nice nod to Stefan over at CNC Kitchen. I have a long list of channels I watch when I want to know how to do something with my printer. DrVax, Chep, Michael over at Teaching Tech, Thomas Sanladerer, Angus at Makers Muse... the list goes on and on. Generally, when I want to know why I'm doing something, I visit Stefan's channel. Keep up the good work and I look forward to watching part two of this topic.
