Love them all so much! I saw an old, red Ford truck the other day and it made my heart happy! I love antiques, so I’ve loved the old trucks for a long time. Oh, and another story...My mom and I were taking a walk one day, and she saw someone’s bunting and said, “Aren’t those buffoons pretty?” Now they will always be buffoons to me! 😂
Cute ideas, thanks for sharing. Here is a little tip, when stenciling, paint the stencil area with the background color first, then the color you want, and then it won't bleed
I love all of your diys! They are all so adorable! As always, Liz, thank you for sharing all of your hard work, creativity, talent, and inspiration! Stay safe, healthy, and positive! God bless you and your family!🙏❤️🇺🇸😊
These have got to be the best tier tray Patriotic DIY's I have seen. They all look great. I am going to go through my stash and see what I have and what I need. Thank you for sharing!
Such cute ideas!! Very clever! If I may make a suggestion, I noticed more than once you had trouble with bleeding when you stencil. This is what I’ve learned from many years of stenciling: make sure your base coat is thoroughly dry especially when using adhesive stencils. You adhered them very well, so that’s good. But the best thing you can do is get yourself a few real quality stencil brushes. Not from dollar stores, but from the craft stores. Round ones with densely packed soft bristles. Then after you dip just the tips of the bristles in acrylic paint, wipe off almost all the paint onto a paper towel, Ponce lightly or swirl the brush, then gradually add more paint. Stenciling is done with a DRY brush for best results. Hope this helps, good luck with all your great projects!!
Too cute!! Liz you are a artist! I love watching you paint your projects!! You are amazing! All of these are soooo cute it's hard to pick one favorite. That little truck.... Is cute for all holidays!! I just love it. Your fireworks are darling!! Thankyou, once again, for sharing your talents with all us crafters!!
Oh Liz you never disappoint!!! I love them all but my favorite is the red truck!! It's so cute!!! The fireworks are awesome, too!!! Like I said they are all adorable!!!
Here is what you do so you do not have bleeding. If your base color is white then you put your tape or stencil down first paint it white so any bleed over is the base color. Then do the next color. People have also used midge podge but I think doing it the main color makes more sense
I love the popsicles....you could paint the handle black and look like a firecracker....love your creativity!! oops got a little ahead of myself....posted before video was done.....love the firecrackers too!!
I love all all these. I have made two tiered trays and probably will make more. I had two small old enamelware pans with red rims. This would be perfect for this. So much fun!
