I really like how you provide mostly over-looked horror movies, NOT, neccessarily the BEST or most popular. I suggest: 'Hansel and Gretal', 'Rare Export', or 'The One I Love'.
@@venom7774 - Although, it's not so much a horror, as it could be, it's so well done, you will like it. I also suggest, 'Border', (don't research, just watch), and 'Bloody Hell' (it's great). Enjoy.
I'm so glad i found your channel, you get straight to the point and have great taste in movies which is hard to find. I skipped over a few of these movies but now I'm going to check it out. I like how you say what kind of audience might like it or not by covering what's in it
James Cameron's future wife, Kathryn Bigelow, who directed Near Dark, asked Cameron to suggest actors from his recent hit ALIENS for her film. Bill Paxton, Lance Henriksen, Jennette Goldstein. In the movie you can see Aliens is playing in the theater there in town.
"Rampage" has to be biggest surprise on this list, because it's Uwe Boll movie and it's pretty descent, and anyone familiar with Uwe Boll knows this is unheard off.
Thank you so much for your channel. I just unsubscibed from a channel because she was rating final girls and said she didn't see Nancy from A Nightmare On Elm Street as a final girl. Soooo...let's get to the list!!
Tesh Guttikonda is a man actually, and he co-directed Lowlifes with Mitch Oliver. Lowlifes is definitely worth watching, my second favourite horror movie of 2024 so far.
Lovely, dark and deep is way underrated. People were hating on it when it came out and I have no idea why. I love Time Lapse and have never heard anyone mention it until now. Good recommendations!
This past weekend I got around to watching two Tubi recommendations from previous Tubi videos. All Eyes was really good, I can highly recommend it to anyone reading this. And Bloody Hell was a lot of fun. When the dude was hopping around, holding up his foot in celebration, that was as hard as I've laughed in awhile. I highly, highly recommend it to anyone who loves a great horror comedy.
Just watched Near Dark again after so many years. I used to watch this as part of a "Chet" festival along w Weird Science- love Bill Paxton. And his Aliens costars are also in it- bonus!
He was so good as Chet. Such a classic 80’s character in a classic movie ❤ weird science. I used to check it out from Blockbuster almost every Friday night when it was available lol. 😂
Watched Lowlifes based on your recommendation and WOW! Very well done! The twist at the time it occurred was so well done. I take back my comment on another video about the Green Day shirt 😉(hey, I love Morrissey and he's a jerk 92.89% of the time).
Except the very end ruined it. If the Dad wanted to save his vampire son and his vampire girl he should have had to deal with them as such, none of this transfusion bs. There could have been an incredibly cool sequel where the Dad and sister get turned...
Stitches & Lowlifes so fun!! (for different reasons) gonna chek out 12 Hour Shift & Lovely Dark and Deep ~ thanks for the recommends!! a recommends from me: "Master of Horror" (2005) anthology
I thought Lovely D&D was an “Interesting Failure.” It’s very atmospheric, creepy with some good ideas but toward the end it threw in a lot of tropes that didn’t make much sense. But it’s a good effort by a first time director. Can’t wait to see what she does next.
THANK YOU for including Lovely, Dark and Deep. I don’t understand why it didn’t do better, I thought it was great (I’m also completely convinced that nature, given the chance, would kill me, so maybe I’m biased lol)! I used to say “Wow, that’s a pretty good movie for Tubi!” but they’ve more than proven themselves. I’m dreading the day they start charging… Love your channel!
I doubt Tubi will ever charge exclusively, most people don’t know they are Fox so basically they are the new fox channel just for online. So the same advertisers go with it as well or instead of the tv channel
Few things. 1. Still no love for Daddy’s Little Girl? That hurts my feeling bruh 😞😝 2. I really enjoyed the new Strangers movie. Can’t wait for the next one. 3. Do I really have to go back to Lowlifes? It’d be my 4th attempt 🤦🏻♀️ 4. All the movies mentioned in your videos have been added to my faves. I just don’t know if I’ll live long enough to watch them all 😵💫
@@GhostPirateEntertainment kk I finished it. It was decent. Then went onto watch Rampage. Did you know there were 2 more Rampage movies after that? Off to watch the 3rd now 😀
"Dead Heat" was actually made as a first episode of a T.V. Series, but I think its intensity scared off the network away from it. It was then extended into a 2 hour movie, and left at that.
My MAN!! I f*cking love Tubi!! I was introduced to, and fell in love with, old Italian Giallo movies because of them. FreeVee on Amazon is very similar but has nowhere near the amazing amount of obsure films...old, new, foreigh, domestic, live action, animated....as Tubi.
😂Omg saw Dead Heat the year it came out...its so obnoxiously 80s I realized it was obnoxiously 80s back in the 80s when I saw it, lol. Points for the angry beef carcass and the huge biker crash victim ....great FX, sleazy dialogue, action one liners galore ...its wonderful
Lovely, Dark, and Deep was so good. I saw it on RT and was shocked that the critics have it rated at nearly 90% but audience is only 36%. Generally when there is such disparity I agree with the audience but not this time. If you haven't seen They Look Like People it is on Tubi and is very, very good.
I avoided Lovely, Dark and Deep cause I heard so many mixed opinions about it. And yes, Time Lapse is a excellent film. I remember it starting kinda light, then got dark and twisted as the movie went along.
Lovely dark and deep was awesome. I saw 12 hour shift listed on there the other day and was gonna watch it. Now that I now Mic Foley is in it I’m DEF watching. I’m a huge fan of WWE
I really enjoyed your video and you have some Great picks on here I wanted to recommend some more movies I just watched a really weird Horror movie called Good Boy about a man and his roommate who lives as his Dog it's a wild swedish Horror movie worth seeing also right now they have the John Ritter Horror comedy Stay Tuned and another wild one septic tank Man which is really Gory and Good another wild one is Groupers which is a Horror comedy about a woman tieing two men up at the bottom of an empty pool this one gets really out there 😂 and last but not least the movie Parents with Randy Quaid about a kid who thinks his Parents could be cannibals it's a classic 😁👍
@@GhostPirateEntertainment bummer! Well he loves them so much. He needs a good pair for when he rides the bugs and stuff get in his eyes but I think he’d probably where them everyday! I have never seen him really care about other ppls stuff before so I was shocked when he said “can you ask him where he got them” good taste brother in movies and in glasses!!!
I hated lowlifes with a passion. I hated the lead character. I watched the whole movie the first time. You were right about the twist though. It just wasn't for me.
Out of all the 80's horror movies played/playing on all streaming platforms, I'm surprised that the movie Bad Dreams hasn't been on any of streaming platforms. I can't even find it to rent to watch it 🤷♀️
Just watched Lovely Dark and Deep!! I've recently become a little obsessed with the creepy things that have happened in the wilderness. So THIS movie was perfect! I enjoyed it! It offered something a little new. The acting was well done, and it had a great story! Thanks KB!
The Broken doesnt get the love it deserves. Sean Ellis is a fantastic director. He also directed The Cursed. His non horror is also amazing especially Metro Manila and Cashback
I just wanted to say, about a year or so ago, when trying to find some good, great and in between and some not so good horror films on Tubi and Netflix I came across this channel. I wanted to say thanks to all the lists, and recommendations I never run out of things to watch. Horror, Action, true crime and martial arts films are my favorite genres of movies. Through your channel I found some good classics and some I never heard of and some decent b horror films from Japan, Italy, Germany etc. I also like how you don't give away to many spoilers if any at all. Even some the crappiest movies that you recommend are decent. Keep up the great work.
Oh I think Jenny Wright and Lance Henricksen made the movie ...also the main young guy was good too. The whole movie is just so "sumptuous"...! Classy, sexy, w/ such a beautiful cast. And I love the ending, too.
KB, Have you watched the movie “Bliss”directed by Joe Begos? It is really trippy and disturbing. I highly recommend! Maybe you have recommended it already, I can’t remember. Anyway, great list! Thanks man 😃
Just watched “ Lovely, Dark and Deep,” and thought it was great! Georgina Campbell definitely has a great future in film! Thank you Kainan for keeping us “ Horror Freaks” up to date on all the cool stuff on all platforms! You are truly “ The Horror Connoisseur!” 🤘🏻💀🤘🏻
Where did you find the broken? Man, it's listed on Tubi but it says not available. Should be available on plex, also not available. I can't find it anywhere. Sucks, seems cool
@@GhostPirateEntertainment Thanks, yeah I'll check again in a few days. Keep uploading your videos man btw, I am a horror movies nut and always seem to have watched everything until your videos come along. Awesome
Wait, ROSS NOBLE was in a slasher movie?! =D Love to see The Broken on here, no one ever talks about that movie. Can recommend a movie called The Abandoned from around the same time, think I watched them in the same session.
