Thank you for all your wisdom! Your videos are great! i wonder if you can help me on this issue.... i use my work phone in windows 10 and always have my: youtube and music playing all the time and before i did an update when my phone would ring any music or videos currently playing would automatically mute it self. but this stop working after the update. do you know of a way to get this back?
If you right-click on your speaker in the task bar and go to Sound Settings there is a communication tab. It may be the setting "When windows detects communications activity" you can set it to mute other sounds.
Most laptops will shutoff if you hold the power button for 20 to 30 seconds. But something is certainly wrong with the Windows install. This video should give you some troubleshooting tips but it may require a Windows Reset to finally fix it.
I need to upgrade Windows 10 Pro. Good stuff though, specially trouble shooter. Can I do recovery boot/restore on external USB drive as opposed to a USB 'stick'
I downloaded the latest version of power toys. It just didn't work for some reason I don't know what was wrong with it and I could not find tweak UI so I deleted it. Tweak UI is the only one I really want. I wish there was some way of just downloading that one and that one only.
I love your videos. I do learn a lot from them. Have you noticed that Windows 10 sometimes has trouble connecting to the internet. I looked it up online and currently that seems to be a general problem. I can be on my computer and next thing you know I lose my internet connection and then I reconnect. Sometimes though when I reconnect I get the can't connect to the network so I have to restart and that fixes the problem. I had one night where did it three times. My other devices don't do that
I have not had that problem but it is possible that Windows updates are impacting your Internet connection when large updates are loading in the background. You may want to take a look at the settings in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QsuOb5IYgJ8.html
In my opinion, Windows 10 is the most blatant bloatware/spyware/commercial platform. Personally, I wouldn't call it "operating system". I have 2 internal SSDs, one with Windows 10 Professional version 20H2, which became slower and slower and finally it didn't even boot anymore. Shoved in Recovery, Startup Repair, which tried to fix my MBR sector on my GPT drive and f@*!cked it up for good to the point I had to reinstall it. And in the other corner... I mean, on the other SSD, good old Windows XP Professional SP3, with Avast Antivirus and MyPal browser (yes, with DuckDuckGo search engine, not corporate Google, Bing or whatever). NEVER had any issues with accounts, payments, bank etc. Boots lightning fast, moves lightning fast in all the programs and apps. So...
They do add a lot of stuff. I’ve found that every 3 or 4 years you need to upgrade to a new computer or reinstall a clean copy of Windows to avoid the issues.
Fantastic! Thank you so very much! Keep these great videos coming please :-) Many of us really appreciate it and actually use these new methods/procedures/tips and tricks :-)
..Hello.! I am Alfredo. Can I download the WINDOWS 10 Enterprise program with Office x64 on my PC with all its applications without losing any current information?
Excellent video thank you! I have Windows 10 Home Edition and Can't find any solutions on these 2 issues perhaps you can offer your expertise. 1. I always use a total of 2 accounts...1 Admin Account and 1 Local User account. The major problem I can't solve after endless efforts is figuring out how to copy the system settings from the Admin Account to the Local Account. This would save a ton of time not having to configure the settings for 2 different accounts. So much easier if I could just create the Admin Account, adjust all my settings the way I want them, then create a local account and copy all the settings over from the Admin Account. Is this possible and if so where can I find the instructions? 2. Is there a way to save the Admin Account system settings in windows 10 home edition to an external hard drive and/or back them up? All backup options I've read about do not offer the ability to backup settings. Rather it is documents, files, ect.. but not windows system settings.
