Tom's Tech Time Tom I like your show but I have recently purchased a DJI goggle I am not computer savvy apparently not do they sell a DVD or a CD that tells how to adjust everything in the goggles
Firstly I love your videos. Very informative. Wow that Gnarbox is expensive. Try a Western Digital My Passport Wireless Pro. Much cheaper and larger storage.
The big problem with using an iphone with your drone is a built-in "feature" about which, when you ask, apple will tell you to bring it in for repair: NO! The iphone 7/iOS now dims the screen progressively as it gets hotter in the sun, until it shuts down completely, rendering it TOTALLY useless for drone operation. Good luck with that. Basically, Apple is moving toward total domination of how you use your phone (especially with ios 10.3.3 banning all third-party adapters from the lightning port). Note that whenever you complain about a bad behavior feature, Apple will pretend to never have heard about it, whether it be apple support or at an apple store "genius" bar. Strangely, I have yet to see any of these apple or dji promotional videos mention any of these TRUTHS.
Nolan Wethington: So, I'm not permitted to post? What's ALWAYS interesting is that "Freedom of Speech" always applies to ONLY the person speaking, NOT to everyone else.
You get a Like and a Subscriber for this one! Good work. Obviously you know what your doing. Take a look at mine and please feel free to drop some pointers, and keep up the good work.
Thank you for your videos, excellent learning experience. Do you have any idea when DJI's 7.85" Ultra Bright motor will be out on the market? I can't seem to get the answer to this question. Thanks
@tomstechtime Hi, please I need one information and little help if you know - does Crystalsky monitor have output via HDMI output 1080 50i ? Thanks in advance. Regard Sasa
HOw about some useful inforomation, rather than just telling us what a charger does? It charges the batter? NO! YOu don't say! I would have never guessed!
In sunny days, I tried the PGYtech sun shade and it worked like a charm. It is an easy and cheap workaround and they have different sizes. I personally use a Tablet and I love it so much that I almost can't go back to flying while looking at a tiny phone screen.
Hi Tom, I lost my drone 2 times (1 crash to the tree and 1 critical low battery landing) fortunatelly every time I was able to find my drone (it took my 2-4hours). Can you make video with the best devices which can help me to find my drone? Best regards Filip :)
FliM Production Turn on the flight path/telemetry recording feature and the precise last landing and battery-off spot will be graphically viewable and reviewable.
As far as blocking out the sun should check into the Epson Moverio BT-300 smart glasses fpv drone edition. I bought a pair about a month ago and the great thing about them unlike other goggles etc...you can wear these in public without a spotter because the BT-300 are augmented reality. The display is far superior to other goggles (I have the fat sharks and Avagant) its as if your flying and staring at a 80 inch screen, they come with 2 different shades for blocking out sunlight while still keeping vlos. Just something you could review in near future, and get blown away like I did and buy them. Cool thing is that DJI and Epson have teamed up together, and Epson is making their own app of DJI with DJI help that lets you control the drone with your head movements.
Dude, you need to stop saying "TTT" followed by "Tom's Tech Time" on every video. Say one or the other. The whole point of abbreviations is to avoid saying the longer version.
