I LOVE the red desk with white detailing! It reminds me of Dutch folk art. It's so refreshing to see someone actually be creative with their makeovers instead of just painting everything grey and white

You should also look up RU-vidr named KACHA u would LOVE her furniture restorations she does such unique & detailed art on each piece she does!!! I love this compilation of different furniture pieces I really love how u put just enough detail to make it look special BUT NOT TOO MUCH!!!

It’s all about supply and demand. if people started wanting red everyone will be painting red. It’s nice to look at all the different colors but if nobody’s buying them then all it is is a pretty piece of artwork that doesn’t make anybody money.🤷🏼‍♀️

New here, just have to say it is so cool seeing you include your little one while you're working! Many parents (myself included) sometimes get frustrated when they are trying to juggle a project while actively parenting. Its inspiring to see you handle it with such finesse! You're definitely a natural at mamahood!

Yeah well glue and saws and dust and varnish arent great for kids to be around to be fair. Or sewing needles or cooking stuff ...unless youre doing some play doh work its not usually safe for them to be around when adults are working .

Glenda, you have serious design skills! I love your creativity and vision for these pieces. This is furniture artistry. And you do it while being a toddler mom! I loved all of these but I am blown away by your stenciling! That desk looked like bone inlay! Gorgeous pieces!🌸

OMG, I have that Asian desk and matching dresser. First bedroom furniture purchase at age 16! I'm 63 now and still use them everyday! They look brand new still, but I might just have to refinish them now!!! Beautiful 😍

I would gladly purchase an item that you can see craftmanship being put into. It's not about the old piece, it has been restored and the work of art is worth it! Hopefully, when selling these items, folks can see that work was done. It is A NEW PIECE. Beautiful! Congratulations on building and creating an impressive skillset 🤗

Beautiful work. Love how you don’t paint over beautiful wood grain. Project number 8 has the drawers in the wrong places. Those drawers with the different detailing should be across the top.

You have just given me the absolute best idea ever. I want a new bedroom set but what I want is HORRIBLY expensive. But I am pretty good with arranging woodwork and edgings and long thin squirrely things to edge bookshelves or baseboards etc. I will just get all the different pieces that I want and pant them all to match. I would never have thought this up on my own. I have two tall TALL end tables that I really like for use but they have no character. When I get all my furniture remade they will blend in just perfectly. I am so happy. Thank you. I have been watching furniture remakes for a couple of years but never thought of this before watching yours. Thanks

lol thank you! ❤️😊 I use a dense small brush that does not hold a lot of paint and i use chalk paint (small tubes from hobby lobby) bc its thick and less of a risk of bleed through! Hope that helps!

What Glenda said . Also, placement of stencils is so important. Do a couple of practice runs to develop your techniques before you do the real deal. Most of all, enjoy. If you don't like it, you can redo it ☺️☺️☺️

Love her style! She did an awesome job. Letting some pieces breathe and just BE quality wood instead of painting over everything was awesome. The texture in the first one was great too, choosing to break up her pattern made it look refreshing instead of minimalist plain

At 43 just an FYI, I believe the three decorative drawers belong on the top level and the plain ones below. It would be far more cohesive. Likely when they gave it to you they had misplaced the drawers into the wrong slots.

I like the desk most of all, because it was in very bad condition and unatractive. You work looks very well executed, step by step and innovative, twicking the items with attached pieces of wood or simple and stylish stenceiling. Your are very skilled. The work you do is great... For me it is the time you have with the baby involving him on what you're doing not pushing shoving taking grabbing pointing or anything like that on there that is most beautiful thing the baby is learning how to do things with you ... Where I grew up at... Parents are barely folding clothes and they are constantly screaming yelling pushing shoving grabbing pulling at their child as they just want to spend time or just be a child at that time that is what I love seeing you do keep up the good work and what you're doing....👶👶👶👶
