These seem like great ideas! I will try some of these, especially the water fireworks 👍🏽👍🏽 Your boys have grown so much. Fraser has gained some height 😊
Loved the suggestions! Just wanted to inform in case you dont know. The Purple flowers in the cupcakes looks like the "digitalis" flower, that's very toxic. Im not sure that it was that flower but it looks very smiliar. Just so you are aware. Love your videos ❤
I was going to say this - they are very poisonous ☠️ they gave my husband hive like rashes. Be very careful picking wild flowers - you’re not really meant to do make sure you do it sparingly. We will try this activity with things from the garden, I love your ideas, thank you! X
@@philippausher-erel549 I was thinking it's a shame to pick wildflowers. Then they're not there for other people to enjoy, or for bees and butterflies etc. I think flowers from the garden are a better idea. Growing them with the kids first makes 2 activities in one!
Hey Emily, I hope you are all doing well good evening love this how to entertain your kids children during lockdown at home video. I love all of the variety of activities which you can do at home I like using my desk so much for work revision or do organisation of my folders on my desk. Can we see more hack ideas groceries hauls what I eat in a day haul day in the life videos. Take care stay safe and well with your family and the boys at home. Have a lovely day week and weekend ahead see you on Friday for a new video.😊❤️⭐️🌻🌹🌸🌈🦓🌷🥀🐤🦓🌷🌺🐰🌻⭐️🌈💐☀️
Hey Emily, good evening thank you for the new video today you too. Take care stay safe and well. Have a lovely good day and week ahead of us all see you on Friday evening 7pm with a new video.😊❤️🦋⭐️🌹🌈🌷🐤🥀🦢🎂🌼🌿🦓
You could do a nature momentous stick. Find a big stick, Collect small flowers, leaves, etc. And use twine, string or wool and tie the findings to the stick.. my kids love doing it. Xx
hmm, am I strange for sometimes just NOT making anything up for my daughter to do? I just let her be bored, and eventually she finds something to do on her own :) Or she starts singing or helping.
I didn’t even watch the whole thing but I already enjoy form the title! ! Your Lego zip line looks amazing! Hope everyone’s families are ok! Stay Safe!
Love it as usual great stuff. I struggle with 'Quality Time' (playing with your 3 year old) when you have to maintain the house (always upside down) and a newborn. How long did this play do last please?! Good to hear that they sat down nicely for the marshmallow activity, my older son is a nightmare 😂😂. I shall try those xxxxx. Keep them coming, I remember the lava 1 😊
Aww the boys are getting so big ❤️ . Time flies so very fast . Finding new ways to entertain our children during these times is essential 😅 ! I have 2 boys a 8 year old and a 2 year old so all these new ideas are great Emily !!! 🥰
Aw these are fab ideas Emily. Definitely re-motivated me to try something new. Do you find Jackson drops sand everywhere?! If so how do you react, do you let him get on with it and clean it up later or remind him to keep it in the tray?! My son is mad on construction vehicles which creates a very messy patio!!!! I’ve tried both approaches and even get him to help tidy up but it does take the fun out of it....😬😩
I swear your videos are the best this is soo helpful I hope your safe x I swear I'm going to smash my head through the window This saved me Thank you x
Keeping my 4 year old son and 3 year old daughter entertained is VERY difficult sometimes and its easy to run out of ideas. Thanks so much for your video. Take care, be good, be safe
I love this. Such an original video but one that I have wanted to see for ages. Thx for this xx I cant wait I will try some of these on my 5yr old . Always needing more ideas to occupy the kids
Lego cable cars and homemade play dough.....1980's flashback! Just a thought, we used to use the sand pit to make a garage for our toy cars (wet the sand lol!) we played this for hours:) Thanks Emily x.
Thank you Emily! I love the constellations and play dough ideas. My 6 year old recently got so into constellations and space, she is going to love that activity so much! Cannot wait to try it tomorrow 😁
Brilliant! Will be trying some of these this week! I’m really running out of ideas of what to do with my two so this is a really welcome vid! Thanks xxx
This is such a fun video to make I done one too near the start of lockdown 😁💖 I can’t wait till Leo is old enough for lego as I love it 😊 the zip lines looks amazing 😍 Wow check the lava lamp 😅 that’s awesome
Not sure if you're familiar with a channel/Facebook/Insta page called Tha Dad lab? They have loads of easy diy science content for kids :) check it out, I'm sure your boys will love it!
Hi Emily I know I'm commenting 4 month late but I just love the play dough hack I will be using that for my twin who has special needs love your videos xxx
I need to write these down , I make play doh but differently to you. But yours looks easier lol. I recently brought a sticker machine and the kids enjoy making their own stickers by drawing on paper and colouring it and cutting it out. My kids love stickers and sticker books. Xx
I'm gonna try these with my 2 and 4 yo kids! Can I ask a question? You have those nice, tall glasses that are a little bumpy on the side. Where did you buy them? I am sure you have mentioned it in a video, but I can't find which one.
These are great Emily! I have a 22 month old toddler but the playdough recipe is brilliant and the playdough eggs are genius! He already loves hide and seek with toys in the sand. Thanks so much for sharing!
Thank you for your nice ideas...i have just watched other video for you..Jackson's labour ..how did you lose weight after labour ?...God bless you you look slimmer and healthier .
Thank you so much for making these videos. I got surprised with 2 babies under 2. I never really knew if I wanted to be a mom or not then bam I got two back to back. I’ve lived a very hard life of physical, sexual, and mental abuse/ trauma since I was two years old. So I never knew if I wanted children because of my own issues and I honestly don’t know how to mother children let alone babies. It’s been a huge journey and learning process for me. I just learned that my toddlers issues are coming from screen time. Unfortunately with me not having the just basic information on raising children they have been in front of a screen their whole life. Now it has only been educational things. So my almost 3yr old started reading at 1yr old, can count almost up to 100, knows some Spanish, and just basically knows everything already a kindergarten if not first grader would know, he’s also almost writing. His sister almost 2 speaks a large vocabulary can read some and count already, knows her colors and animals… but I started noticing my children NEVER sleep properly. They are consistently getting up through out the night and have VERY short nap times. Their tantrums are very long and extremely heightened, and they can’t really make eye contact or hold little conversations or communicate with me like other children, and aren’t ready for potty training. I’ve learned this is because of the screen time they get. I feel absolutely terrible. But they are SO young I can reverse this and help them get where they need to be. Videos like this are helping me SO much with coming up with exciting, creative ideas to get my kids off the screen and have fun, interactive playtime that benefits them wholly. It also helps me. With all the trauma I’ve been through it’s been very hard to connect with my children in a way that allows me also to feel comfortable. Between your video and 3 others I already have about 33 ideas I am going to implement. It’ll take about 4-6weeks slowly detoxing my toddlers from the screen, but I know we are all going to enjoy the activities and connection that’s about to come. Thank you so much for making a difference in our lives!! 😭🥰❤️🙌🏻
What a wonderful thing you're doing. It's kinda sad that you can never fully know how much you are changing the world for the better -- as the word accelerates through the greater human network -- but you can be quite sure that you are bettering things -- big time. Well done, O Thoughtful and Skillful One! My grandkids and I thank you. (this is how the Internet SHOULD be used)
Hi Emily My wife (who is also called Emily) loves watching your videos since the birth of our daughter. We just wanted to let you know (incase you didn't already) that the pink flowers you used in the ice cupcakes are fox gloves and highly poisonous, we just wanted to let you know! Calum & Emily
Not sure if anyone already pointed this out but I think you’ve used foxgloves (the pink flowers in your ice cakes) and they are poisonous so be careful about letting the kids play with them!
