I’m a retired American literature and ESL teacher, permanently living abroad for years. I still keep one or two students I volunteer tutor to maintain my skill. Your video is excellent, accurate and simple.
As an American, I can attest that these are accurate. We love shortening words. My only suggestion would be for #6, where it's less "probaly" and more like "probly."
Thanks you are amazing:)i'm from Turkey.I think i've an intermediate level of english but ever since i ve listened to u,i have laerned a a lot of things about english.i've learned english by myself,no course ,no private teacher. i m a teacher and assistant of principal at a secondary school.i love learning enligsh .So my ultimate goal is speaking fluenlty and improving my pronunciation.i think that will be because of u.Thanks a bunch.
Hi, I’m a French Canadian concert pianist. I have watched many of your videos as I need so much to improve my English speaking and writing. Sometimes, in my concerts, I’m more nervous to speak in English than to play the piano! I really appreciated this video of how Native American speakers talk in a none formal way. However, I have noticed in at least two of your videos that you seem to mispronounce the word (verb) « were » You pronounce it like « where or wear » For example, if you listen to the famous song by Barbara Streisand from the movie « The way we were » she doesn’t pronounce, « The way we where or wear »… Is it an accent from Italy? I’m planning to purchase your English courses because you really do a good jol. I like so much the way you do it : funny with a very nice personality (and let’s say it : good looking), clear, lively, clever and with a good choice of examples (no boring examples like « the cat is white » etc) I’m sure I already made some mistakes but at least I want to make the effort to speak this language as well as it should be!
That's exactly what the Americans do. If they can't pronounce it, they find their own way to say it. This is what we call, to concise the language. American English got some intrepid esthetic. Loved the way, how Maddy and Rachel speak English.
Where have u been until today.. U technique is so dazzling which made me speechless, now tell me how can i speak. U should get an award or be recognized as number one English teachin trainer of the universe.
From my point of view you are the best english teacher in this world. Nd also im just watting of your new video bcs its a great chance for me to learn english language. Thanku so much meddy sir nd love your all video from my bottom of heart. God bless you always keep smiling. ਆਈ wish always..
Thanks a lot for all the amazing videos you have created to teach English in an interesting manner. But, in this video, I noticed that there was a mistake in one of the particles you discussed. When you explained how to reduce the pronunciation of shouldn't and couldn't, you mentioned that we remove the 'd' sound, but in reality we remove the final sound 't'. But I'm sure it was just a slip.
What an absolutely amazing and well made video 💙🙏🏻 Thank you so much for making such an informative video 💙 I've just subscribed to your channel. And I'm really proud to be a subscriber of such a cool teacher!!!
You are great I looked for a best channel for American language and i never seen like this channel So i thank you very much coz you are put me in the best way to get a correct learning My problem was with pronunciation of words I was also struggling to understand. Especially when I watch American films, I find myself facing a new language other than the one I am learning. You created a new term for words and invented a strange way to connect several words in one audio clip, and this is what complicates understanding. You have cleared away the fog that was surrounding me from all sides, and I hope for more of these words and expressions to help me overcome the difficulties in learning American English. Thank you thank you thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
In my point of view , it might will be difficult to pronounce if such a situation come to have a conversation with them as you saying because there is still lot words remained behind of these words what you telling about then how we do pronounce all together them and how do try to memories them in a second we will be confused but still keep teaching us sir 😊 glad to see ur way to teaching us
