I heard Susan the first time she sang tis song and got goose bumps!listening today I still got goosebumps!

She really deserved her short time game. That beautiful voice SusanBoyle has and no one ever hearing it because she was so frumpy looking because she took care of her dying Mother plus was too shy to be around anyone, had no idea how to dress and ppl honestly thought she’d do so poorly . When they talked to her and she said the silly thing she said and that’s “ only 1/2 of me” ha She was trying to be as funny as she knew how and it went over like a lead balloon but when she opened her mouth what a beautiful voice that came out of that poor frumpy looking lady. When she was immediately signed as a singer . She made a lot of money with that voice, plus Hollywood dressed her , redid her hair and had a pretty home . When she stopped singing if she had plenty of millions left to live well on. She a sang a couple of her own songs and her CD was beautiful .. Her gain our loss when she decided to stop singing.

@@user-cl5co8kl1z Being out and in front of so many people and the pressure was very hard on her. I can't remember exactly what her issues were, she had a form of Autism or something like it. I thought she was wonderful and I certainly hope she has enough money to live comfortably. She was amazing and that is one of my most favorite auditions.

Don't all contestants have to go through a prior selection?...Simon, same as all the other judges had to know how well Susan sings, hence the surprise in hearing her is staged. Just part of the show

There are only about 30 'real' singing stars in the world of popular music. Unfortunately the first girl, despite being g "Really good" has no chance at all. Maybe as a wedding singer or on a cruise ship but filling stadiums or concert halls--- I just don't see it occuring. They (the music industry) would chew her up and spit her out before 10am on any given day of the week. So, dear, try again in about 10 years time! Seriously. You are not nearly ready. Look at Brittany, and what everyone has done to that poor thing!!! I'm surprised she is still even breathing at this point. Like, who hasn't taken advantage of her???

She has some sort of disability. Susan took care of her mom till she died and she’d sing to her Mother. So Susan gave it a shot and she had a fabulous voice!! 😊😊❤
