Commute doesn't save your checkpoints unless you pay for it. Which means as soon as you exit the game you have to restart completely when you want to play it again
+BioSpudd I bought it..... trust me, its worth it. If you want to be a selfish prick and get apps that deserve money even though they're free, go ahead. But i actually am a decent human being and like to support people who put days of work into a very amaizing game. Do not have a good day.
This was a great AAK! The fact that most of these look like actual games (like you would find on steam) makes me really happy! And the ones that don't are also awesome!
+Vsauce3 the song in the app called Does Not Commute is called Killer Joe. Its a great jazz piece created to give the feeling us of being in cities with fast moving cars and traffic. Very Fitting for the app. I don't know if your into jazz but i would suggest listening to it lol.
+TheGrace020 I think this is more for unknown good apps, anyone who would of wanted to play a game like fallout shelter most likely knows what it is already.
These are the best games I've come across on android! 1:-Leos Fortune 2:-Limbo 3:-Alto's Adventure 4:-Monument Valley 5:-Granny Smith 6:-Manuganu 7:-orbitum 8:-osmos 9:-zombieville 10:-stars path
Does not commute has hilarious character dialogue and is a clever idea for a game, but due to invariable spawn points, there is no replay value at all. Also, all checkpoints are saved behind a paywall, making it virtually unbeatable without paying for the entire game.
Jake, I have a game you would like. Ingress is a wonderful sci-fi game that uses real-life places as capture points for your team to capture. It's a great game for long car trips because of the real-life places. The two factions are trying to claim "exotic matter."
I loved this episode Jake. I think it would be great if you did an indie PC game version of this show. The episodes might be more spread out due to less releases but I wouldn't mind. I would recommend looking up 'A Story About my Uncle'. It's not super new but the mechanics are really fun.
Not sure if you've featured it before as I'm new to this show but you should check out the app called The Room (1, 2, 3). It's a point and click puzzle adventure that has a great story and some very challenging puzzles. It's one of my favorite apps of all time! Here are a couple more of my favorites, Zombie Highway, and Puzzle Juice (Which is like Tetris meets Scrabble!)
From experience, Nubs adventure is GREAT! Give it a try. I got stuck on a level and gave up though :P Oh and Jake, you forgot to mention that in commute, the cars that drive themselves on the text turn follow the same path that you took when you drove them in the previous turn.
3:25 What's the music here? It sounds like a modernized 8-bit song with lots of piano. It's so cool, but I don't recognize it. I've checked out all of Jake Chudnow's stuff on Sound Cloud and couldn't find it.
Heads up, I think Hanger 3 has a bug. As soon as I got to level fifty I couldn't cast the rope. And when I got it to work it wouldn't stick to anything, leaving me to fall to my death a million times.
If you had a picture of the observable universe on your computer, and you could zoom to the point where you could see Earth, how many pixels would the computer have?
