Confession: I was once in a band where the lead singer really wanted to cover "Crazy Bitch" ~ Buckcherry for our next gig. Needless to say, the rest of us weren't having any of that shit. That band also didn't last long after that. Thank fucking god.
Finaly someone who finds KISS as noxious as I do !! Overrated is not a strong enough word for Kiss IMO !!! I never got the make-up thing until they took it off , and I witnessed how fucking ugly they all were LMAO !!
Moves Like Jagger was so annoying on its concept alone. He's like old as fuck. Is this a compliment?? All these vapid, repetitive pop stars trying to sound cultured because they've heard of The Rolling Stones.
I am no lying piece of shit, and I have always hated "Nookie" from the first time I heard it. However, I did like Kid Rock, and I feel far more embarrassed about liking "Bawitaba" than "Picture".
My own personal addition: Under the bridge.....I don't ever want to hear, this fucking song again.....ringing right in my ears, when will it it ever end.
I couldn't agree more. Anytime I hear Green Day and that stupid ass song, that I won't even name out of respect for my RU-vid account and the comment section, I just stop, shove my hands in my pockets and turn 180 degrees and leave the room.
Welcome to the under 300 views club. I like enter sandman, Rockstar, Through the fire & flames, In the end, Nookie, rock & roll all night, and time of your life. Although I do hate Moves like Jagger and Picture
breeanna Dorough I don't think its fair to compare the first four albums to anything past black album. For there is only pre- and post- black album. I don't have a favorite Metallica song, but as far as yours goes I think you made a lovely choice. Do you have a favorite from black album or after?
10. I can agree that Enter Sandman's been overplayed to death and can be a bit cheesy (and there are better Metallica songs out there), but I don't think it's necessarily a bad song. 9. It was fun to play on Guitar Hero 3, but yeah, extremely overrated. 8. Oh yeah, I listened to this as a little kid a lot, and it has not aged well at all (just like everything associated with Nickelback). 7. Not familiar with that one. 6. I liked it a lot as a little kid, but it hasn't really aged well either. In the end, it doesn't really matter (pun intended lol). 5. Fuck that song, I hated it when it came out and I still hate it today. 4. Don't remember hearing this one. 3. I wasn't as exposed to it as much you were (I was like 6 when it came out), but the song is stupid and dated too. 2. I remember getting a musical toothbrush that played this song while brushing. I hate it when music becomes so overtly-commercial like that. Another overrated, bland tune. 1. I knew you were gonna say that one. I remember hearing that one all the time a while back. I don't hear it much these days and I'm not really annoyed with the song, but I can understand your frustration with it.
My top 10 bad songs that were hits: 10. Any Justin Bieber songs 5. Party in the U.S.A. (Miley Cyrus) 9. Staying alive (Bee Gee's) 4. Someone like you (Adele) 8. Any taylor swift song 3. You are beautiful (Christina Agulara) 7. Big girls don't cry (Fergie) 2. Picture (Kid Rock & Sheryl Crow) 6. I got A fellin (The black eye) 1. Moves like Jagger (Maroon 5)
"Oh My Good Gracious Gravy!" - CKN 2015. XD Also 11:58 made me spit my drink all over my desk. BTW I am apparently a liar and a dirty little piece of fuck, as I honestly NEVER liked Limp Bizkit (well...except for Rollin'). Never heard another song of theirs I wanted to listen to again.
Enter Sandman is eh. Crazy Bitch was horrible. I disagree with Kiss-Rock n roll all night. A true music anthem for a generation. I figured that Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody would be close to #1. The rest of these songs I've never heard or didn't care for them.
Ooooh, uh, is it bad that I still like 6 out of these 10 songs? The ones I don't like (and never liked, and no, not even Nookie as I never heard it when it was popular, I first heard it when I saw Marc Mues' review of it) are Rockstar, Crazy Bitch, Nookie (as mentioned earlier), and that song you had @ #9. Crazy Bitch & your #9 I hadn't heard, and I never fucking liked Rockstar (despite actually kinda liking Nickelback, please don't kill me), and Nookie (see above explanation). Overall, though, good video. Oh, and btw, I think there's only one version of Moves Like Jagger, that one being the one w/ Christina Aguilera.
I always hated Limp Bizkit, all my friends hated that rap shit. Never heard anyone saying that Limp Bizkit rocked haha, I have friends with taste I guess. the same goes for Kid Rock and Nickleback and similar mainstream shit. I agree with the Kiss rant, totally overrated band, half of their catalogue was fucking eighties disco.
***** Only liked "Leader Of Men" from that album. I also enjoyed the album "The Long Road" (but Someday can suck my ass), it had some awesome tunes like "Flat On The Floor", "Do This Anymore", "Believe It Or Not", and "Another Hole In The Head". Outgrew "All The Right Reasons" and "Dark Horse", but those albums were okay. Afterwards they became pure shit!
Tbh I feel as if Limp Bizkit had choose a different vocalist who could actually rap and sing instead of Fred Durst they could have still been as big now as they were back then kinda like a RATM because honestly the guitarist Wes Borland is really talented and the bassist Sam Rivers. I can honestly say Nookie's guitar parts are heavy as fuck and I can just ignore Fred's voice
I was driving to work on a cold dark morning at 4:30am when I first heard "Picture" from Kid Lame, I mean rock. I could not help but think if I someone else was driving on the road at the same time I was, listening to the local radio station, like I was, and was suffering from depression, that they would probably drive off the side of the road to end their life and most likely take me with them.
10. Finally someone agrees with me on this! 9. I only liked it evaluate of Guitar Hero. Now I hate it. 8. F**k this band and f**k this song. 7. Loved it as a kid but then I got older and thought, "What was I listening to as a child?" 6. I actually still love that song. Is that bad? 5. Hated it when it first came out and still hate it today. Was Mick Jagger really need for the video? 4. Wasn't THAT bad to me. I definitely prefer "Devil Without a Cause" though. 3. When it first came out I banged my head so hard to this song and now it makes my ears bleed. 2. I kind of have I bias with this song because my friends and I would sing it all the time and I just think of them when I hear it but I see where you're coming from. 1. Sorry but I freaking love this song. Same thing as number 2 with the bias.
BlackPikmin1998 I fucking hated that "Crazy Bitch" song even when I was 14. Fuck Buckcherry, they make Nickelback, Kid Rock, Creed, Marilyn Manson, Godsmack, Bullet For My Valentine, Shinedown, and Hinder sound tolerable.
Marilyn Manson, Godsmack, and Shinedown are actually really good in my opinion Hinder and Bullet for my Valentine are actual guilty pleasures of mine. Oh well. Opinions.
I would add wind of change by scorpions to this list. this songs gives people the wrong impression about the band and can't be compared with their classic 80s songs, their epic 70s work(largely unknown to North America) and even to their post 2000s output. this song is just mediocre
Lightning Rider I was saying that in comparison to their 70s and 80s material, this really isn't very good. Be sure to listen to albums like fly to the rainbow, in trance, taken by force and virgin killer
My drunk dad likes wind of change or any Rock ballads 1980's and older I'm into Metal ballads like voice of the soul, cemetery gates and Fade to black Metal ballads are far more superior than rock ballads it's proven because Metal ballads are about war, depression, death, the apocalypse and sometimes love rock ballads are just the same thing over and over love and sex
It is not fair to describe a composition's quality by how it is used by third parties later on the radio, supermarket or social events. There are too many places where music is forced upon us and becomes background noise. I do not share the same feelings towards this music, because I don't go out much or listen to the radio due to its poor quality. I do love Sandstorm and Rick Astley, which have been misappropriated by milennials on social media.
# 3, Nookie by Limp Biscuit...NOPE! Never liked the sound of the Nu Metal genre. I like classic rock, Thrash, and progressive metal like newer Death or Dream Theater, or Ice Age.
@@wolfstar675 limp bizkit was never meant to be as serious as everyone makes them out to be and hating on them is old those guys made some of the most fun songs of the late 90s and they only got shit talked because old metal elitists these guys were trolls before trolls existed you are just supposed to have to fun listening to it do you really think Fred was serious with shit like nookie? Or a record called chocolate starfish and the hot dog flavored water?
I won't deny it, I still dig some of these tracks. To be honest, the only reason I still kind of enjoy enter sandman, is because of how utterly corny it sounds these days. The issue I have with time of your life (even as a die hard green day fan) is that not only has it been played to death, but there's a good few other songs by the band that would have the same, or a similar effect
Tornado Of Souls aged poorly there are way better songs on Rust In Peace and other Megadeth albums. People played Tornado Of Souls into the ground the guitar solos are not even Marty Friedman's best work he has done better and I think Chris Poland is a better soloist who improvises.
Some of these songs I've never even heard (I'm a rebel that way), but I agree on the rest, Kiss especially. I tend to dislike party music in general, as it's an insincere form of art.
ahh i don´t agree on number one. I live in Germany and the song is not a big deal over here. So i can still listen to it. I can understand where you are coming from though.
I knew Enter Sandman would be the first mentioned, however it isn't bad, and it HAS aged just fine. It is simply overplayed. The same can be said for basically ALL classic rock. Good tunes, played to death. I BLAME RADIO
the only one I disagree with you on is the one about In the End... I still find it mesmerizing to listen to and get kind of a nostalgic feeling when listening to it. I can agree however with the emo culture and internet ruining it... but when youre in it for the music, you can usually put that aside
I still like in the end cause linkin park was one of the first bands I listened to but I see where you are coming from, everyone has really fucking ruined it. Regardless I still love the song and the band
