I can remember the Boris stuff going around. Aphrodite's Child was a big one too. I have two notebooks that span the career of the VC since the start. One is a member guide with addresses, channel names, etc... The other is the albums and the person who showed them. It's really interesting to read back on some of the names. Hall Of Famers in a way. Sometimes only the people with thousands of subscribers are mentioned. But there were so many great and influential channels that so essential to all of our ongoing collecting. I mentioned this a few times before. You were one of the youngest members to ever join this community at the time. You were playing in bands, collecting vinyl, interviewing essential musicians and showing some fantastic records on your channel. Excellent theme and flashback Logan. Well done~ Rob/Boston

Great idea for a video. I was looking for that Medusa album for awhile and then forgot about it. I've got to get a red vinyl copy of that. I remember that 666 album being on the wall of every record store I'd go to in the 90's and now I rarely see it. I do not love Miles Davis. lol

Boris and Aphrodite’s Child were two for sure around the time I got into the VC. Alcest is so great, Les Voyages was what got me into them, I remember Ryan and Henry talking about them, checked it out, and was hooked. I still wish Dan in Canada’s videos were available haha. Agree with you on the 4 Men With Beards stuff. I have a handful of them and don’t have an issue with any of them. I’m pretty sure one or two of the men started Stranded Records/Superior Viaduct and are doing the reissues through them now.

Also, I miss David making videos, you, him and a couple others were the only channels I looked for videos from when I had essentially stopped watching videos

I just got Elizabeth Cotton on CD. One of Faheys big influences from my ear. A little more storytelling style, but very similar melodic simple straightforward style.

David sent me an Acid Mothers record a few years back so how I heard of them as well. I have not gone down that insanely large rabbit hole though. Boris however has it’s own cube lol lol lol
