Tip for overcoming the mental hurdle for pickup barspins - get a friend to hold you and just do it standing in place, so you can get the feel for it without worrying about impaling yourself on your bars. After you do a couple of them like that, it's a lot easier to get yourself to do it while you're moving!
bunny hop 180 is easy once you get the feel of it, I thought it would be harder when i started learning it a year ago or so, but it's actually pretty easy. Now I'm tryina do fullcabs xd I can't get them so far but some day i'll get one :D
I honestly find the pull up bar harder than regular bar flat. Also I did foot jam whips the step over way for awhile before I learned to hop into them and the pedals level out as you spin the bike around if you have a loose chain but it’s not consistent.
This video gave me so much motivation to ride but i cant because i have a collarbone injury. Cant wait to ride again though. Sick video Max and please make more of these!
I always thought I'm just to shitty to get a 180 around on flat. Had no problem with it on a bank or something like that. So one day I was sessioning with the boys and hopped on a friends bike and just easily did the 180, nearly over rotated. Turns out, my dirtbike is just too heavy. I have an old Specialized P2 24 inch and it weighs around 15kg or so. And yeah, thats why I couldn't land it on flat, because I had to muscle it around. PS: I really do love the jumpcut at the beginning where your bike gets on the car. Creative video editing like this makes your videos so special. Keep up the good work!
So glad you made this. You're right there are a lot of how to videos. Somehow you managed to make a video with really practical advice I'm so glad I've heard. Thanx
Great video Max! I think it would be really nice if you could make a tutorial on unturndown, because i cant find any and your undurdowns look amazning!
Tbh, I would like to see more indepth versions of things like One Hander, Barspin, Seatgrab or 180. Like right now I am trying to learn one handers and progress it to seatgrabs and if I lift my Hand to the side or above the bar, every thing is fine. Just when I try to reach for my saddle the bike just falls/tilts sideways (Im guessing because I shift so far back to even have room to grab the seat) and I am not sure on how to counter that so some advice would be much appreciated!
Yoo Max, i do like your videos a Lot, always fun and learning new things is what i really appreciate. Ecspecially when you explain things like on this HOW TO it gives me the opportunity to expand my trick list and to progress in a chilled but hard working way. I can do some flat ground tricks on my enduro as well cause it's the bike I'm using most of the time...but WHAT BIKE do you RECOMMEND as an almost beginner DIRT BIKE? (price-performance)
Theres so many how to vids in RU-vid but happy to say this vid is something fresh and new. Cant wait to try some of these tricks. Nice work Max and Theo 💎🤙👌
Do you cut your bars down at all for bar spins? I know a lot of bars now a days are 30" wide and that just seems crazy to me. I'm getting back into riding because my boy of 5 years old loves riding BMX so much and I've never ridding as good as I am now, even being older lol.
Could you do a single bunny hop bar and pull up bar Tutorial because i am tooo dump to hold the bike and than to spin it i fall every time on my bag and it hurts every single time
may i ask, how you keep the foot on the padel while jumping... i am having a trouble where my foot just leave the padel once i jump ended up i am the one who is jumping not the bike. TQ
So a funny story about the nuber 9 trick. I was doing it while in line for a lift in leogang and this local kid walked up to me and in english asked me “what the fuck bro” and walked away.
