It’s crazy. I watched probably 10 videos on passing and he’s the only one that mentioned throwing a high pass over the linebackers. Probably means the most people don’t even know how to do this. Thanks bro for the information
I’m terrible at this game this helped with defense but I can’t stop throwing interceptions. I have not played a football game since 2014 . Love this game but I’m terrible
Try practicing the throw away. When your receivers are covered and you run out of time press the right analog stick to throw away. I used to have the same problem where I would always take the chance to throw, but more often than not it leads to interceptions. No yards gained always better than a turnover!
The last time I've played ANY football video game was waaaaaaaay back to the original Tecmo Bowl. I got talked into getting NCAA 25 by some neighbors and I've struggled with the complexities and lack of decent instructions in the game. Your videos have definitely helped me out. Thanks!
Man i love this video but being that i have no experience in actually playing real football and understanding tha coverages I'm still lost as hell...lol...All i know is pass.. hope they catch it...and run ..thats it! Not 1 clue on understanding tha defenses..lol...Tha game is hella fun tho😂
Watch civil’s most recent video about defense and you’ll understand all you need to know tbh. Understanding Tampa 2, Cover 3 and Cover 4 will make the game way more enjoyable

Find some videos on how to read coverages pre-snap and then learn some simple passing concepts that are good against them. I’m sure Civil has some good videos on this. Some other channels I would recommend are Kurt Benkert and Xando Football.

My only issue with the game is in Road to Glory, some plays just outright do not work against any defense or any team, the blocking can be really odd every single time on certain plays
So ive been using pkacement and accuracy but does holding left trigger and placing the ball completely replace the ither forms of passing as in highpass and all that or is it something you jave to do simultaneously
In Dynasty Mode I have found figure out what the Weakness is of the others team. And just keep running the same play till they stop you.. Online this may or may not work
Question on ‘clicking on’ - is it necessary to hit the change player button to switch to the receiver BEFORE pressing the catch button? If so what’s the advantage? Thanks man, nice clear video.
Advantage is positioning depending on how open they are. You can swerve into a contested grab or click on to adjust to a back shoulder & possession to avoid deflection in traffic. Cpu won’t always make correct play on ball you desire.

@@davidtaylor606 action will only work if ur switched to targeted receiver. I’m almost certain & would say 100% before you ask a question to create a bit of doubt. Don’t think it works that way.
Dude, can we get stuff like a tackling or interception tutorial? I really need a tackling one. Over half of the time, my user just leaps or flails into the air and completely whiffs on the ball carrier. How do I lock in and actually get the tackle or hit stick? Please help!

When I’m usering I feel stressed because there are so many receivers on the field and that causes me to be a liability in my zone, any tips for usering ?
The left outside lineman during almost all kick for extra points will be unblocked and running at normal speed will almost always jump into the kicker. I got THREE personal fouls in one game on extra points... and ONE during a field goal that gave them first and goal. I can see maybe one but FOUR in a game??? No.
I hate that EA put no tutorial match in this game yeah they let you play a game before anything but with no info. Haven’t played a football game in years so learning as I go

Man I hate this question😭 I grew up in Michigan, so Michigan by default. Went to Western Michigan U for a few years, then moved to Austin TX when I was 20. I’ve been to a TON of Texas games & all my friends go to UTexas so I’m a fan of em now🤣
Go into strategies and if you don't have a good one just basic for offence and defence you can go to challenges and do ur offence and defense challenges to get playbooks my go to is Alabama o Oregon d but just look it up on yt
He mentioned that Zone defenders can’t cover 2 guys at once. When I play against the AI, they totally do. One player can cover the flat, out, and corner. It’s very frustrating. It’s used to happen on the old games too and I assumed they would’ve fixed it on this game, which is supposedly brand new and built from the ground up. But, no, it’s still the same old crap from EA.
Man corners also got eyes in the back of their head lol. So many times I'm bulleting a pass off the shoulder of a CB with his back turned and all a sudden he cuts and reads the pass perfectly for a pick
@@ryanoliver5669 Yeah, that’s an issue as well. I thought I read a game preview where they said that was taken out and defenders would no longer react to the ball unless they are able to see it. I guess they were lying, because they still do all the same nonsense that was in the old games.
This is where I fell off EA train. I used to play high skill level and online and kick ass until they added all the different pass/catch types and overcomplicated the game. Used to get the best positioning amd press fucking triangle and not have to react to different buttons and actions mid pass etc
These tips don’t do shit when O line play is non existent. I step into the pocket and my guards can’t hold a block for more than a quarter of a second. The only way I found to play is use a fast mobile qb an immediately run out the pocket.
