@@grandretreats I understand that there are many wonderful places to stay in London and that alternatives to the classics deserve consideration. But a list of the “Best 5 Star Luxury Hotels in London” that fails to include Claridges’s, The Ritz, The Lanesborough, The Dorchester, The Goring just to name a few is very misleading and quite frankly untrue.
@@joelduff-qt2gs totally agree. No Mandarin-Oriental Hyde Park, Four Seasons, Aman, The Stafford, and so many others. I guess limiting it to 10 was somewhat of a challenge. There is a video of the 33 best luxury hotels in London I watched recently. I forgot who prepared it but it was worth the 45+ minutes to watch. Our fave so far is The Goring, called by Goring doubters "The Boring"!.
Yes, there are so many amazing hotels that limiting it to 10 was challenging. If I had included the same old hotels, it would have been just like the other channels' videos. So, I tried to make the list a bit different rather than including the classics. Btw, the 33 hotels video is also mine! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
