Thanks for sharing!!! I got a new facial gadget GLOW from #touchbeauty. This device has helped keep my pores clean and I have had not one new breakout since starting to use it. Hoping that this continues. 😘😘😘
If anybody "gets acne" - espc cystic acne - take them to the doctor - & get help with removing⚠️ all Dairy products⚠️ from their Diet - it works in 96-98% of cases - some ppl; like myself also need to remove wheat⚠️&/or🏆 other gluten too - but that usually works - & it worked within 3 weeks for me - after years of misery. (Occasionally I give in & hv a couple of runny eggs in my spicy ramyeon - bc I miss that) - but boom - several massive spots within 2 hours again & more during the next few days! You need a doctor's help - bc you lose micro⚠️ nutrients & espc calcium⚠️ - so he/she will help you remove dairy from diet, but that's a must before you try anything else; doctor's should tell ppl,bc I suffered for years & it was soul destroying my skin being how it was.🤗💜🙏💜
Cassandra could you please do a video for acne prone but extremely sensitive skin that doesn't react well on acids or products that are usually suggested for acne prone skin . I would love to hear your thoughts 🤍
It's so hard finding a skin care guru who only uses Cruelty Free products like me. I used to struggle so much just finding Cruelty Free products, let alone ones that actually work. I absolutely love your channel
I love watching and learning from Cassandra so much! Currently dealing with oily and acne prone skin (I used to be dry and acne prone, but weather) and I felt insecure about the hyperpigmentation and acne I've been insecure about it, especiallythinking people will stare at the scars I have. It's a slow process but I've been learning to take better care and appreciate my skin, even in difficult times. Thank you, Cassandra!
I found you just recently bc your post-Accutane video. I bought a few of the products to try and they’re helping clear my skin back up. Can’t wait to check out this video as well!
So I started using the Succinic Acid last week. I was using it on one pimple that I already had prior to buying it and woah did it truly help. But let me tell you!! Yesterday I had a new pimple that I felt starting to form. I had very minor redness and the tiniest raised bump. Something was brewing. I put the Succinic Acid spot treatment on it and within like two hours that bad boy came to a head! Which typically would take a whole day to happen. I have never seen a product give such direct results like that before. I was shook!
It is strong it swolled my face some people have allergic to benzoyl i was excited like u once upn a time until i found it and get and tried it ,then lol T_T they had to take me to hospital to needle my ass for allergic, but thank god after many experience and sufferd i got the right and cheap products that healed my acne and now they are protecting my skin and made it stronger to avoid acne
Thank you for this video, Cassandra! I'm 49 yrs old now, but still struggling w/acne. I've been dealing w/it since my teens. Paula's Choice CLEAR products were a staple for me in my 30's. I was never diagnosed w/PCOS but I've had cysts and then more cysts (and w/painful periods) so I made a radical choice to have a total hysterectomy. My skin is still acting crazy and I went to a Derm. I've been using Cerave 4% Benzoyl Peroxide Cleanser in the morning then I added myself (per watching your videos recently), PC 10% Azelaic acid. That stuff has been amazing! I have also added Tower 28 SOS hypochlorous acid serum (this stuff I found from another person's video) and that has been helping as well. I DO use Tretinoin 1% prescription in evening. I think a ton of my issues gotta be hormonal because it mostly breaks out around my jawline. They are so stubborn! Out of curiosity, would the Medik8 Crystal Retinal be better than the prescription tretinoin? I also take oral Spirinolactone. I believe there is a topical version as well. Do you think, dear Cassandra, that a topical Spirolactone might be beneficial? Things are looking better for my skin, but not where I want it to be...any help would be grateful. Anyone have ideas?
Thank you so much for this video - saving for future reference! I'm in my mid-20s and have had breakout-prone skin since my mid-teens. It's always been hormonal, but made worse by life phases when I've not been eating amazingly. Now I'm dealing with some other physical health stuff and have had to adjust my diet. I'm now eating SO much better, more veggies and less processed food, but my skin around my chin and jawline is more red, inflamed and acne-ridden than it has been in YEARS. My theory is it may be something to do with the supplements I'm on so I'll have to wait until my next doctor's appointment as I'm currently waiting on some hormonal test results. ANYWAY, all that being said, the best I can do for now is try and treat my skin kindly with gentle and effective acne-fighting products to hopefully calm it down a bit! Definitely going to look into the Inkey List cleanser! x
Thank you thank you thank you! I just found your channel and have been consuming your videos like they are water and I have been in a desert for a year. I've had maybe 5 or 6 cystic acne pimples in my 34 years prior to September. And all of them happened when I was switching birth control methods and cleared up pretty quickly just by using some salicylic acid spot treatment. Two months ago I suddenly broke out like something fierce. I can count 30 blemishes on my skin and a ton of redness and so much pain. I was at a loss and reviewed what had changed in my diet, meds, routine, etc. I just got diagnosed with POTS and neurogenic orthostatic hypotension, both are autonomic disorders, both have caused me to faint all the time and acquire so, so, so many concussions. Took me 10 years to get to the bottom of why I was in the ER with a new concussion every other month. They put me on fludrocortisone / florinef, a steroid. Apparently, steroids can cause serious acne! No one told me, and I've been so distraught over it. I had to do a ton of research on my own to even figure it out. After figuring this out, I'd asked the doctor who prescribed it what to do and she shrugged and said "yeah, sometimes it causes acne, just wash your face more." My skin care routine prior to the acne was cerave foaming cleanser and cerave daily moisturizer and some sunscreen. I cannot thank you enough for saving me the time and money in playing whack-a-mole with products to find something that works. Still look like trash and I'm still using zoom filters when I have do calls, but I am so hopeful that I'm on the right track thanks to your recommendations, advice, and education. Thank you!
The corsx spot stickers are the best £5.99 for 24. amazing amazing amazing. When we were wearing masks all day at work I'd wear them under my mask. Now I just wear them at night but I'm considering just wearing for work again as they are so subtle.
I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed watching this video:) here is a video on How to Prevent Scarring and Hyperpigmentation after Acne that might be able to help answer your questions! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hMqWh0PGLQ8.html
Nooo, the Inkey List benzoyl peroxide cleanser IS NOT available internationally. You can't get it in Europe, since BP cannot be sold over the counter, I don't think we have it even in pharmacies and can't get it with prescription! It's very sad, I know. I feel like a criminal ordering it from Amazon (like the one product that I can actually find that ships here..) :(
My problem with skin was always due to hormones. I'm away from my husband now, it's been several months. And I get breakouts again. Nothing helps much really unless your hormonal levels are ok. When I was taking hormonal medications my skin was absolutely clean, no matter what I ate or did, cuz my skin was not oily. But once I stopped taking them - back to oily, acne-prone skin again.
Tretinoin prescription at Costco with a GoodRx coupon if it's expensive elsewhere--you don't need to have a Costco membership. GoodRx will tell you the price with their coupon at different places near you. Also spironolactone is a cheap oral prescription. It's actually free with my insurance through their pharmacy. My acne wasn't bad anymore, but these two products cleared up the remaining zits I was getting.
All of my skincare is down to reducing pain. I don't really care how I look, but I have highly sensitive skin and hate painful bumps and breakouts and deep cysts, and the way redness and inflammation HURT. Just two months of Purito Double Cleanse, 94 Essence, Snail Mucin (+ beta glucan if i feel dry), and Dermide Moisturizer is TRANSFORMING my face and there's way less pain now. I'll be dealing with this for the next several months but I'm just glad I feel better.
I can't use any retinol ect. I could for like 6 months then my body rejected it and i tried it at lower levels and my skin was like no just no. (fyi i was also getting horrific migraines) I was then diagnosed with Idiopathic Intercranial hypertension and told to avoid vitamin A where i could along with saturated fat and salt. Turns out they think the antibiotics i had has a teenager for my acne caused the condition. The point of my post listen to your body and be careful beautiful people!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Cassandra! It would be nice if you do an updated foundation routine to cover acne or acne scars. I know, there are a lot of old videos on your channel but It would be interesting to see a 2022 version with new products. I’ve heard that P. Louise skin tone cosmetic paint has wonderful coverage on acne, scars or other things but I never tried it.
Thanks you so much for the info. Can you please make a video of how do you use this products in a routine. I know that all should not be use in the same day
Thanks for this video Cassandra. My favourite acne product essentials has SLMD Skincare’s Salicylic Spot Corrector at the very top. I’d love to know how you found it. 🤎🤎
i was so excited for the benzoyl peroxide washgel but unfortunately it doesnt sell in europe, at least in germany, because its registered as a OCT drug for acne 😞 this makes me so sad i was so excited to try iy bc my skin reacts so good with benzoyl peroxide 😭 i could honestly cry rn 🥲
Ever since I learned about Paula’s Choice from watching your videos, I really enjoy their products and so far it has helped clear up my skin and help with oil control (I have combo skin more on the oily side so for sure acne prone). I also like Paula’s Choice because they have travel sizes you can buy that are cheaper and they’re good if you just want to try out products to find what’s best for you. Overall, the products are a little pricy, but in my opinion, you get what you pay for and I know all the ingredients are actually good for my skin. 🥲
The Rael Succinic Acid line called Miracle Clear. I really want to try because the Inkey succinic acid is really good but I don't know if it's the succinic acid or the sulfur. My Face response great to sulfur even Cystic Acne Holy grail sulfur product: dermadoctor aint misbahivin 10%sulfur mask (online only), 2nd dermalogica fizz mask(Ulta), 3rd derm-e sulfur spot treatment (walgreens)
Thank you so much for this video ❤ I am 35 yrs old and only really starting to actually take good care of my skin now 😬 But my big question is- where can I buy the ordinary peeling solution if I live in Canada?
I've been using a leave onbenzoyl peroxide treatment for over a year and no one told me it would bleach my clothes and for the longest time I was so confused!!!!! Bleach spots along the collar of all my tops
hey , cassandra . this is a great video, massive thank you for all the recomandations :) are you familiar with the brand revox? there s a lot of products from this brand i would like to try, but i could use your opinion! thank you so much, big hugs :x
I feel the same about Dermaceutic, I've been using their K-Ceutic and loving it but would love a comprehensive guide of their products from someone who doesn't make money off it
Hey Cass, love your content :) I've recently found this vegan and cruelty-free line Acnemy, I have the cleanser and it seems to be working for my oily/combo skin (but I've only been using it for about 2 weeks). The products are inexpensive, they seem to have some decent ingredients and maybe they would be worth a try, I would love you to make a video about it. I don't know if it's only this month but they seem to have free shipping to a lot of countries, including USA :O
I always notice breakouts with the uv clear, as well as some other popular acne favorite skincare products. I don’t remember if you have a video on skin that’s sensitive and acne prone
Can you please do a video about dr. Barbara Strums products and if they’re good/ dupes or better alternatives? I see so many people talking about them but I refuse a hyaluronic acid that is nearly £100 is gonna be THAT much better than the £10 one
Hi just wondering.. is hormonal acne still caused by this bacteria? I have endometriosis and sometimes get deeper cystic acne on cheeks, jawline. Just curious. Thanks for the great video! ❤️
How does she test products and for how long? For example, does she use a Luxe Organix exfoliating cleanser simultaneously with let's say a The Ordinary toner? With another branded serum and moisturizer? Or does she use products one at a time for like a week or so? Because I want to test out products as well but don't know how to, and we all know that we can't trust the Internet too much...
Great video! do you know of any moisturizer's that help pores appear smaller and treat? have you ever tried Murad- Oil and Pore Control Mattifier SPF 45? I heard this helps pores look less noticeable. :) Thanks! beautiful butterfly!
Hey Cassandra, thank you for the amazing content ❤ I’m wondering if you have any advice on how to find a trustworthy esthetician to help treat acne in areas (like the Midwest where I’m at) where medical esthie salons are hard to find. The only facialist I can find is at Ulta.
Hi, I have a question. O have oily skin and I'm using salicylic acid and niacinamide (the orinary) which have been helping a lot, I also use the Crave retinol for oily skin. I've been experiencing lot of improvement but I feel that I lack nutrition and something that helps me heal from the harshness of some products. I use moisturizer and hyaluronic acid but I feel it's not enough. Some recommendations please ?
Can you make a video about how to know if you have acne or not? Cause i had no problem. And now i Have pimples in my cheeks and It's not getting better
The inkey list succinic acid is not working that well for me :( sometimes it lets me down, I'm still on my first tube but will keep trying as the price is incredible.
