never ever a pure breed get a mix they are way better in all things trust me and you don´t need medi 4 ya dogs i pref half dobermann with dogge and weimaraner !

There are so many great dog breeds to have during an apocalypse. My top 10 are: Kangal, Rottweiler, Akita, German Shepherd, Belgian/Dutch Shepherds, Central Asian Shepherd, Pyrenean Mastiff, Great Pyrenees, Boerboel and Irish Wolfhound. Honorable mentions: Dogo Argentino, Cane Corso, Pitbull/Staffy, Tibetan Mastiff, Bully Kuta, Presa Canario and Tosa Inu. All of these dog breeds in my opinion are the best at being adaptable to various environments, powerful, intelligent, independent yet obedient, courageous, loving and able to handle strenuous and stressful situations frequently. The best advice is to have 2 from this list to be completely safe and confident ✌🏽♥️

Bk,presa,dogo,cas and tosa need soo much food in single day(this is the only factor that makes hard for them to survive in a apocalypse)

German Shepherd Bue Heeler mix. Boxer chow and Shepherd mix. Don't forget the small mighty dogs as well.

What about Patterdales or Jack Russell's you don't need big dogs to survive Any good working stock Terrier would do..

A Lab, and a Malamute, would not be able to fight. They are not aggressive/protective enough. & The dog they showed attacking the Polar Bear wasn't a Malamute.
