One of the best things about switching from cigarettes to vape kits is the savings you can make. While health is the priority for everyone, e-liquid and coils/pods almost always work out cheaper in the long run than purchasing cigarettes and rolling tobacco.
Once that initial kit purchase is out of the way, you can begin enjoying the value of vaping e-liquid. We do, however, appreciate that many will be shopping for e-cigarettes on a tight budget, and today we would like to showcase some excellent vape kits that won’t cost you a fortune.
The 10 Best Cheap Vapes in 2023 are:
00:19 | Introduction
01:24 | OXVA Oxbar Bipod
02:48 | Geekvape Wenax H1
04:01 | Vaporesso Moti X Mini

Love the Vaporesso Luxe battery with the XR pods. Being able to just replace the coils while still have a completely leak proof pod is game changing for me. If they could have added an auto draw with button lock it would have been perfect.

One of the best review videos I've seen. As a vaper myself (2 years or so now) I went with a Caliburn G as I was transitioning from Dinner Lady disposables told the Caliburn G provides one of the closest experiences to disposal vapes that typically use salt-nic freebase liquids for my flavour and MTL vaping. The Caliburn G served me well for the last 2 years, but I must say, replacing the coils and pods eventually is a messy and frustrating experience..and when the unit eventually began to malfunction itself, leaks, spitting, overheating and auto-firing started to become a daily problem.The good thing I will say about the Caliburn G is that if you can get past the fiddly and messy process many vape kits with changeable coils have (investing in a box of latex gloves is well worth it!) the coils do last an extordinary long time for a vape kit compared to some kits I've seen reviewed where users are replacing coils every few days or every week. I regularly got a month out of a 0.8 ohm coil with the Caliburn G. A good alternative to the Caliburn G and G2 is their A series the A and A2, A3 which take a built-in coil pod design approach but offer the same awesome flavour experience and sub-ohn vaping. After my Caliburn G failed I decided to start looking for a totally new kind of vape that's a) super simple and coiless with a built-in coil and replaceable pod arrangement, leak-proof, and has reasonable at least half-day battery life with a sleek design and compact size, similar to the Caliburn G. Which brought me here to this video and helped me to decide. I was surprised to find there's many cheap vapes on the market, well designed, that fit this particular market need..someone wanting a disposable vape flavour MTL experience, but with the convenience and savings of doing your own refills. They're so cheap (ranging in price from £10 to £15 usually) that I decided to buy 3 (two of them reviewed in this video) to see which one is the best of the three, and to have a backup device in case my main one fails. My only concern with these cheaper low-end kits is how long the coil pods will last and whether that will become more expensive. Based on my research though, most of the vape devices reviewed in this video (and similar budget simple devices that have an integrated coil pod design) don't charge that much for replacement coil pods, typically £5-£6 for a pack of 2. And you can often choose the coil type you want if you prefer sub-ohm for more flavour I've seen some doing pods down to 0.5ohm but typically around 0.6-0.8 with the option of 1 and 1.2-1.3 ohm pods as well. I think it ultimately depends on the type of liquid youu use, how often you use it, the type of coil and wattage, as to how often the coil pods will need replacing. Leaking though, should not be a problem on these type of devices, in theory, as it much as it is with vape kits that have a removeable coil from pod design. The vape device reviewed towards the end with the military grade metals used in the coiling suggests that one could last a lot longer than the others potentially, if you don't mind the boxy design which is not my cup of tea but for indoor use it might be worth checking out! It would be great of Mist could do a follow-up video on the pods/coils side of these particular devices, explaining what each device has, how much they cost and some idea of how long they last ideally. As that is a big factor in customers buying in this end of the market, the running cost, value for money and reliability of pods against burning out and leaking, more than the actual initial device cost. Even mid-range or slightly higher end vape kits aren't really massively expensive, costing around £17-£40 which is now a massive outlay really when you consider smokers spend that typically in a day or two usually! I'm now doing some review reading research based on the 10 models reviewed in this video regarding how reliable they are against leaks, the coils burning out and/or providing a reliable consistent vape flavour..I'll report back my findings, for those interested who can't decide which is the best reviewed and most economical ones to run of the 10.

My research is complete and here's what I've discovered for anyone else overwhelmed by the amount of vapes on the market but looking for a vape device fits this criteria: 1) MTL sub-ohm flavoursome vaping 2) Built-in coil pods that aren't messy and don't leak 3) Slim-line compact design 4) At least half-day or more battery life 5) Reasonable initial cost and replacement pods Top of my recommendations is the UWELL Caliburn A2 at £14 (with two pods) it's a winner. Really well made, stylish brushed alluminium and beautiful colour shades. Even smaller than the G series but bigger battery. It vapes perfectly like the G series and disposables, a consistent loose MTL and intense flavour works great with nic-salt 50/50 vape liquids. The magnetic pods is a nice touch and replacements are cheap around £5 for 2. This is my indoor kit. Secoond on my list is the UPEND pen kit. This one takes a novel approach to design with a cigar-shaped design that looks at first glance like a posh fountain pen complete with 14k gold plated clip on the lid and a lovely powder finish scratch-resistant all-metal elegant design. The vape experience on this one is excellent and close to the Caliburn A2, a little tighter MTL, but astonishingly good flavour and decent battery life for such a small thin device with its 1000mAh battery. It has a vibration feature when it needs charging which is a good feature. Replacement pods come in at around £5 for 2. The kit only has 1 pod which is a bit mean. This is my outdor kit. I've owned both now for coming up to 2 weeks of daily use. After comparing against 4 other devices in this review, these two devices for me stood out as the best of the bunch in terms of flavour and vape experience, build quality design ease of use and low cost replacement pods. Both are well worth the money but the UWELL Caliburn A2 is the ultimate device for me, nothing else I'm compared matches the vape and flavour experience or comes anything close to the beautiful build quality.

@@paullangton-rogers2390 Hey - Try this ASPIRE FLEXUS Q POD kit or Aspire Flexus Stik. I want to say Aspire AF Mesh Coil is providing more flavour than Geekvape U pods I also use in Wenax U atm, and actually using these 2 devices parallelly Aspire AF Mesh Coil last me 35 days. So I have been vaping a sub ohm vape since 2017 and it’s all I know, but replacing juice is VERY expensive in Canada now as we have a new insanely expensive “vape tax” ($1 per 2ml of liquid for the first 10ml and then $1 per 10ml after that) So I’m wondering what type of vape makes your bottle of juice last the longest? The freebase juice I use in my sub ohm vape right now after tax costs $35 for a 60ml bottle and the salt nic version of it is $50 for a 60ml bottle. If salt nic juice goes a longer way (while also keeping in mind the higher price point) then I will buy a new vape to accommodate it. Which type of vape do you think is the cheaper option in the long run from a juice standpoint? Thanks so much!

I have no idea the pricing range of these devices without checking, it would have been nice if you put the average or typical price of a device (or at least gave some idea of the price level across the range of devices)...but what I would say is, you could have included the Caliburn A series which takes a more simple coil-built-into-pod replaceable pod design the same as many of these devices. They may not be the cheapest (starting at £17 and going up to £22 for the A3) but Caliburn is well known for its excellent consistent flavour with nic-salt liquid and long coil life, so the extra cost is probably worth it, assuming these devices are substantially cheaper. The replacement pods for the A series Caliburn cost around £5-£6 for 2 and you can choose sub-ohm 0.6 or 1-1.3ohm pods. if the Caliburn G is anything to go by (I've used one for 2 years) and the A series use similar/same coils, then you should get several weeks out of a pod, even with heavy daily use. By simply turning the pod around, you can switch between MTL to DTL vaping. The only downside to the Caliburn devices is they're a bit mean on battery size, coming in around 500-600mAh so need regular charging throughout the day if you're a heavy vaper, and I think there's plenty of bigger battery devices on the market in the same very small cig lighter sized form-factor...saying that, the Caliburn's do cherge super-fast though with a USB-C charger, typically from flat to full in 18 minutes or less. And you can vape still while it's charging which is handy. A lot of devices don't allow that. Caliburn have advanced chips and circuits inside to regulate the temp and provide a super-reliable vape experience very similar to a disposable, and a ton of safety features against over-heating and leaking which shuts the device down.

Better in every way and if the xr wasnt a gift I would have gone for the max. The dtl comparison is night and day. Hey there! There are actually LOADS of vape juices that taste a lot like Red Bull, but for legal reasons they can't be called that brand name. Look for vape juice with names like "Energy Ice" and "Marybull", a little investigation and you'll soon find loads of e-liquids with the distinctively refreshing flavour of a taurine-rich energy drink!

@MistEliquid
@MistEliquid Год назад
Hi there! Pretty much any refillable vape kit which uses coils with a resistance of 0.8ohm or above will be able to handle nic salts just fine, you just want to avoid putting them into a tank/pod with sub-ohm coils (anything lower than 0.8ohms) as you'll get leak issues and it'll emit WAY too much high-strength vapour. If you love Elf Bar's great flavours then check out their range of bottled juice, ELFLIQ. All that great flavour but in a form you can add to your own e-cigarette.

@MistEliquid
@MistEliquid Год назад
Hi, thanks for watching! The Flexus Blok is a great kit for CBD e-liquids. If you've seen nicotine warnings don't worry; it's a warning that has to be put on any vaping device sold in the UK, even if the kit arrives without any e-liquid in it. Just be sure to use a CBD e-liquid and not pure CBD tincture oil, as this won't atomize correctly and will just wreck your coil.
