Bhaiya please make video what are opportunities after gate and what preference one should give for vlsi. Also tell about colleges where one can apply through IN branch gate score for vlsi. Also guide ki how one can take inter disciplinary branch at gate score around 600 and make career in vlsi. Tell about colleges which one can get at this score for general and placement is also good.

My Gate 2022 score in 400 in EC. I am applying to top three NITs , BITs and finally VIT Vellore. I will most probably take VLSI in VIT Vellore. Are the suggested video lectures enough for me to get a good placement? There are good placement giants coming to VIT ...but I dont trust the lecturers out there. Also, can u suggest some communities wherein I can discuss about VLSI projects?

Hello brother..I completed my M.Tech from one of the private college(because I was preparing for government jobs from last two-three year)..last year my branch was Electronics and communication Engineering ... I worked on Cadence Virtuoso as my thesis work based on this..and honestly I don't have any knowledge except this software in electronics engineering(as my BTech degree in electrical and electronics engineering..and my gate prepration is in Electrical engineering )..I studied analog and digital electronics during my gate prepration...Now if i want to join vlsi jobs.. can you please suggest me...if i complete all the lectures as you told in video from NPTEL or again doing M.Tech from good NITS ,.. which option is best for me.. 😕

Do project using free eda tools .... Take topic discussed in digital ic course like any nmos logic nand gate... Do its lay out... Take a free pdk for that

For interview you dont know any specific programing language but you should be able to explained the logic/concept of programming , like explain how flow of control work , why so many different flow of control we have (if,while,etc) , like they may ask explain OOPs concept .. For vlsi interview intermediate to beginner level programing knowledge is sufficient... For written exam you need to be good with C or C++ , they ask simple programs and you need to find outputs or error

Currently max of VLSI chips are must have a communication module and therefore all major chip manufacturer s a dedicated domain where they recruit communication engineers ... So if you love your domain keep improving your skills like matlab coding , try to understand all the algorithms used and some basic idea about current trend of 4G/LTE/5G communication processe... For job in circuit design/verification, which commonly people refer as vlsi job you need to completed the courses i suggested in this video only if you dont like your own domain... And i hope as grow this playlist , will keep on helping you to this get a good job be it communication or circuit..

You can definitely do these all courses if you have a wish to switch in VLSI industry in future ,i dont know if its possible to pursue vlsi industry as power electronics guy but there are many job designation like power delivery signoff engineer in vlsi industry,which require a electrical /electronics guy with knowledge of handelling power... I would recommend, as you need basic analog knowledge even if you are digital focus to crack interviews... Yes you don't need to solve all those assignments ,just take an overview of those concepts .

Bruh i m going to 3 rd year Now i don't know anything about coding can i Focus on Vlsi design and can i make my career in vlsi , Designer,and I don't have any plans till now please guide me 😢

Yes , but according to most of the job profile in vlsi need a basic understanding of coding , you dont need to be pro just the basic is great to start ... but if i see from day ahead in 5 year you need to know coding ... so best suggestion would be start learnign , its way easier then learning VLSI design concepts

Completed graduation in 2013 completed my pg in vlsi In 2017..is there any scope of getting a job in vlsi...if so what are the course we need to take ..thanku

You have the required degree to get started in VLSI .. So it all possible ... But things will be little tricky and if you are currently working with some other industry,you may give away your work experience advantage ... And need to start as fresh so payment will be lower then what you might be earning now for first few year ... If this all are oky then i will suggest to do some investment and join a VLSI training institute... Self study can do the things but this route will be very tough and only possible if you are self motivated and ready to keep preparing for 1 year and ready to accept rejection from 99% of applications,

I dont have any personal experience with them, but seen few of connection getting placed after attending maven , you go with them just discuss about you scenario and how then can help you.. You can also see vlsiExpert.

How to apply for vlsi domain job...from where they recruit candidates. Advertisement timing, last date for apply, Offcampus or on campus.

For off campus there is no specific timing they recruit throughout the year .. All company has a dedicated portal to apply for jobs opening.. You can keep on visiting them or be active on linkedin.

You can search them in gogle or make an account on some job portal like naukri.com.... For intel their job portal is jobs.intel.com
