Totally agreed. I'm an Englishman and I have been learning the beautiful French language and still have a lot to learn. I really hope to become fluent in French. I love France, the language and the technical achievements made by French engineers. I think everyone should at least experience the charm of the French language. I would love to travel to France again soon.

Natives of a country never sightsee ... I lived in California all my life and only went to Disneyland once ... when I was an adult and had to entertain tourists .. LOVE Paris by the way. Yummy city

Most indescribably beautiful, magical city! Was there in early October, rented apt. with my daughter in Montmartre. Paris is a VERY safe city for women. Dress like the locals, don't make yourself a target for pickpockets. We walked home from the Jules Joffrin Metro every evening, midnight and later, stopped at our favorite neighborhood bakery for a baguette, pastries and/or the little market on the corner for coffee, wine. All of the Parisians we met were warm, very polite and helpful. Not a single negative encounter. If you treat people with warmth and respect, you tend to be treated the same way in return. I love the vibe there and would move to Paris tomorrow if I could. It's impossible to ever be bored there. It's exciting, elegant, romantic -- EXQUISITE!

I love Paris very much! I did not have any difficulty there. Though Parisians do not speak English well, they understand it and when I had problems getting to some place, they just walked with me there. I enjoyed my stay in this beautiful city!

First time in Paris visiting from United States 🇺🇸. Beautiful country. My experience has only been positive. I barely know French but I tried to learn before my visit just simple Phrases like hello and thank you and goodnight. They seems so pleased that I at least tried. The food is incredible, the structures, the art and way of life. So many negative comments but I can tell you if you go with an open mind there is no way you cannot fall in love with Paris !

Palais de Tokyo! Also a great modern art museum and a collection of some of the craziest pieces of art I've ever seen! Entrance is free under 18, and for student a few euro, so it's also nice if you're on a tight budget.

My husband works for a Parisian Bank, so spends lots of time in Paris and I go with him. I usually spend time at the Louvre and we meet at Minims (next to Maxims) for cocktails before heading into town. Paris is a beautiful city with lots to enjoy.

I was in Paris just last month, among visiting other cities in France. It was the best vacation I ever invested in. I didn't visit the Louvre but went to the Orsay instead.

Hands down, I feel , Paris is one , if not the MOST beautiful city in the world. Every major city has its pluses, its sights and attractions but Paris is in another class itself, with literally thousands of years of some of the most beautiful and most monumental architecture in he world.

Great list, but instead of the Pantheon, I'd suggest Napoleon's tomb...that place is majestic! And the Alexander III bridge is a must as well.

For our trip up the Eiffel Tower, we bought our tickets through an external TripAdvisor company called 'Viator' and it was well worth it. Our tour guide gave us a small history of the tower (for example it used to be painted red, it was only built for an expo and was intended to be there for only 2 years and the citizens of Paris used to hate it). The tour guide then took us up to the first deck in the funicular and let us go do what we wanted and go up to the higher decks for the rest of the trip! I highly recommend this option because you are guided to the right entry, you are in the hands of a highly experienced tour guide and you get a mini history of the tower as well!!

Paris was such an experience. Best emotions i've ever felt were up in the Eiffel, in Sacre Coeur & Monmartre streets, Notre Dame, Louvre, Arc of Triomph, walking on the rainy Champs-Elysées and seeing Paris at night from the Seine. I would've liked to go to the Pomidou and to walk in the Latin quarter but there wasn't enough time. At one point i feel i can as well as die after being in Paris. But then again..i'd like to go back!! Walking in Paris feels like being awake in your dream.

I would also recommend the Musée d'Histoire Naturelle and the Palais de la Découverte (dedicated to nature & science), the Grand Palais, the Grand Rex Cinéma who can be visited; the Jardin d'Acclimatation (really beautiful park) and the Rue Mouffetard (many restaurants can be found) Just to name a few
