I recently found out I'm lactose intolerant but I am in love with cheesecake... can you do a lactose-intolerant-people-friendly cheesecake? Preferably a lemon cheesecake? Greetings from Belgium
@@atharv2830 It's where (for me at least) Lactose makes me quite sensitive! My stomach will hurt, I'll be on the toilet for awhile (lol), and sometimes if I eat too much I'll throw up! It doesn't stop me tho xD
a couple years ago i made watermelon "cake" for my birthday. I made it in 3 layers. the top and bottom were watermelon slices, and the middle was a slice out of the middle of a canteloupe, with lime jello in the center. I made thickened whipped cream by cooking some flour into my cream and and then chilling and whipping, and i tinted it with food colouring so i could make it look like a watermelon. i added some chocolate chips on the top to complete the look. I walked around my party all evening saying that my cake was a watermelon and everyone thought i was just referring to the decoration. they were all so surprised when it was really watermelon. My birthday is in july and it's always hot, so that was a really nice treat, and everyone enjoyed it.
Well, I saw the Nutella Recipes video and I'm allergic to hazelnuts. (shrug) I don't really watch Ann's videos necessarily with plans to make the stuff in the videos, but it's enjoyable anyway, and it does give you ideas for other recipes. Some of these recipes may work with cantaloupe, for example. (provided you're not allergic to that)
Nailah Lucas I don’t think it’ll work cuz watermelon well has a lot of water and moisture and the texture is just really different from strawberries. Strawberries purée is thick and doesn’t like a lot of water :)

Ann, I literally have no words. Every time you come out with a new video, you shock me and all of your viewers with your ingenuity and inventor like spirit. You have been my inspiration from the start, and I am so, so happy for you with all the progress you have made. 3.2 million? That is literally 3,200,000 *people* who watch and love your content. I am a bit dejected knowing that since I live in the USA I will always be a few hours short, but considering that your videos have millions of views on a daily basis, I'm proud to say I'm here before 35,000. I love to look back on one of the comments I made a year or two ago, and am shocked all over again that you chose to comment on a little girl like me, boosting my spirits. I don't even remember what I commented about, but I remember how excited I was that the one and only replied to me. I have watched your videos from 20 subscribers, Ann. I've made one or two of your desserts with the encouragement of yourself. I love baking, but I'm honestly not very good at it... However I did make the twitter bird redone. Because of the way it was shaped, I couldn't cut shapes out of the blue, so I just marbled the two fillings. If you have taught me anything, it's to work with your surroundings. I poured the glaze over instead of fully covering it, and placed little sugar stars where the red glaze didn't cover. Can you guess? I made a 4th of July dessert! I take comfort in watching your videos for some odd reason, but I love watching your content and I hope you never lose heart in what we all enjoy you doing. I tried making truffles a while ago. Tempering the chocolate worked successfully but the tempered chocolate in the bowl set while I was waiting for the chocolate in the mold to set. And then I had to remelt the chocolate and re-temper it. How do you prevent this from happening? Should you melt and temper a bit of chocolate and line all the molds with that chocolate and then temper another batch for sealing in the fillings. Because I did one truffel sort at a time.
