Isn't she just a sweet soul? I love the way she pays attention to detail taking her time to not just hype products but tries them out before recommending. Thank you much
I love my Dyson Airwrap. It really depends on your hair. My hair is dry and holds a curl for days with the Dyson. My advice was to find a place or friend who will let you try out.
Great video! Just want to say, I have the Kyda Eyebrow “wax” and while it’s not the best, and I’ll buy something else next time around, it’s not actually dried up. It’s a tiny bar of soap, and you have to wet the spool first. It goes on a little weird, but once it dries and you brush out your brows it works as it says it should!
I LOVE my airwrap!! I think you may be drying too much with the round brush before styling with the curling wands! I’ve done so much trial and error with this tool! Also, invest in the long barrels, game changer 🤩🤩
I agree with you about the Shape Tape!!! I couldn’t believe how cakey it was after hearing all the hype. Glad you’re calling this out in your videos - people need to be warned!
shea I have long straight thick hair and doing my hair even drying it is a process so i would love to see a must have hair products video from you! i’ve purchased many items based on your advice, You never steer me wrong so hair products video would be amazing 🤩
The ordinary products have been a game changer for my skincare I use the niacinamide serum & its helped make a difference in my pores since my T zone is oily & my pore have gotten smaller. Also thanks for the honesty about the dyson I always see it & feel like im missing out but now that you broke it down its really not worth the investment. Thank you for your recommendations!
Thank you Shea for your fun and informative videos. I agree the Dyson air styler is waaaay over priced. A couple of years ago my husband bought me the Dyson hair dryer. It was a $400 but he got a refurbished one for $200. It’s a great dryer. But still too expensive I’m a professional hairdresser and I’ve had many dryers that are just as nice for a fraction of the price.
I love the air wrap! I bought the attachments for a longer hair and I can make my hair easily last three days. It is important that it is slightly wet and that you use some kind of heat protectant / hair hold when I do it. I also find it funny that you think it’s OK to buy $350 bottle of small perfume but it’s not OK to pay over $500 for that many styling tools. Just thought I’d let everybody know how great the Dyson air wrap really is once you get use to it.
I bought a $400 perfume and huge mistake. I don’t like the smell now 😤 (the sample smells different) I rather spend $400 in styling tools and hair treatments. Or maybe a nice jewelry (that I can sold if I need money lol) Learned my lesson.
@@karenpereira7797 I’m sure that it’s a beautiful fragrance, maybe one I’ll buy but I love my Dyson and I’m getting so much from just that one purchase. Do you have this fragrance? Is it worth it?
Absolutely love all my Dyson styling tools, even the air wrap. I do need the longer attachments to curl my hair though. The short ones do not work as well on long hair. And also, the dampening your hair part is very important when using the air wrap. FYI, eBay sellers have samples of expensive perfumes you can buy to try before spending a crapton of money on something you can't return 😉
I just bought the new Airwrap. Sells for $599 but I opened a Sephora credit card and got a 25% coupon to use. So for $450 I think I got a great deal. I really love it. Well worth the money especially considering the fact that I spend very little money on my hair. Two cuts a year is normal for me, no highlights, color, treatments etc. so it’s my treat to myself.😊
There are videos where people test their AC2, sugar, etc after taking different types of sweeteners, allulose doesn't seem to spike them in most people. Malitol, on the other hand is one that seems to increase sugar levels for some. This is relevant if you are diabetic or keto. If sugar is really a concern in someone's diet, getting some tests would be better and healthier, rather than just getting anxious about avoiding a whole food group, like carbs, for example.
Omg. Baccarat rouge - my favorite. EVERY TIME I where it people compliment and want to know what it is. It does smell fabulous and I have heard people refer to it as “the rich girl scent” I get the travel size which costs less and I keep it in my purse for when I want to feel rich. 🥰
I recently endured the tragedy of shattering my BR540 on the bathroom floor 😢 Sadly, nothing to salvage. When I did have the pleasure of wearing it, I too was asked about the fragrance by multiple people! It’s def on my birthday/Christmas list so hoping to wear it again soon. (This time fashioning a life vest of sorts to adhere to it 😉)
@@susanbaker2796 Ugh I was 😔 Totally my fault - I turned a bag over to empty it to see if anything was left it in… well instead of an expected tissue or receipt, a bottle tumbled out 🤦🏻♀️ .
I am obsessed with my Vuori joggers. I have two pairs, plus their jumpsuit now. They are absolutely the best thing I have ever worn. Bonus: they are my go-to travel outfit. Flew 13 hours in them and was never more comfortable on an airplane. They aren’t tight or restrictive while sitting, like leggings can be. Best investment ever.
Oh, I LOVE the brow soap! You have to wet the spoolie and rub the soap. It's like a bar of soap - hard until mixed with water. Keeps my unruly brows in place all day!!!
I am extremely picky with my perfumes I had wore the same for years and then it was discontinued, I decided to try Baccarat Rouge after trying Chanel, Hermes, CD, Louis Vuitton and the list goes on and on... at the beginning I had my doubts I wasnt dying over it so I told my husband he could use it, but then I started to miss the smell and I just cant explain why I wanted to use it, it was like caffeine withdrawal and started to gravitate so much towards it. Now I want to wear it every day. The hype is real.
I fully agree with you on the Tart concealer! Way too cakey! Ordered for the first time this summer and definitely won’t get their concealer. Love many of their products though. I’m currently using Clinique’s even better conceal and love it! Creamy and light.
For any kind of brow soap, you need to wet it like you would any other soap. It’s my absolute favourite way to set my brows because no other gel or wax is strong enough. Just add a couple drops of water, rub a spoolie in it, and brush it through and let it set. Your brows will not move all day
I over spray like 8-10 sprays of the baccarat Rouge 540. I completely have gone through the bottle (bought last year) about to repurchase. I am totally nose blind to it but get plenty of compliments. I wish 1 spray was enough!
I bought the pink stuff based on a recommendation from you and it is amazing. My black glass stove top is finally clean! I also use it in my shower that has a tile floor with lots of grout. A beast to clean but this stuff did the trick!!
Can you please tell me what the smell is like on the 'pink stuff' - I am very allergic to perfume and strong chemical smells due to Migranes - Cheers from Canada 🍁
Allulose is AMAZING!! I am diabetic and it is a life saver if you like to have sweet things. It is about half the sweetness of regular sugar and no after taste (IMO) like stevia has. I have not had this cereal though.
This is gonna be long! 😁I'm obsessed with Mason Francis Kurkdjan. I have the rose scent, never expected to like rose, but it's sooo good ... There's another one I love too. Now I want to try yours! For the brow soap, you need to wet the spooly and work the water in to soften the soap. Still not my fave, but I like it. I tried Magic Spoon, bought all the flavors and don't like it! There are a good amount of carbs... I don't get how they did the math on the net carbs. Thought it seemed sketchy before you taught me more! I looove Dyson products, including the Airwrap. I'm really into keeping my hair healthy, but want to style it. I have so much fun using it! Just the enjoyment of playing with it is worth it for me.💃 I quit using the cold shot and just use duck clips to hold the curls. Holds better, but still only lasts one day. The smoothing brush is my favorite, replaces a straightener for me. I regret buying the dryer first, because I didn't want to splurge. It is an amazing dryer, but I only need the Airwrap and a universal diffuser attachment. Whew! Ok! I'll stop there!
On the Dyson: same exact! I returned mine after initially being obsessed because it wouldn’t hold any style at all past two or three hours and I tried it several times on my real hair, fusion extensions annnnd clip ins and same on all even with my tried and true holding products, was so sad but a reality check to return it for me
The dyson is the best thing I bought for my hair even with the high price and I’m price conscious. It’s an airwrap so the curls are not supposed to last you till the next day. I just use the dyson to restyle my hair the next day. Doesn’t damage the hair like a hot iron would and doesn’t take a long time too
Allulose is the most safe sugar substitute out there! I’ve done a TON of research on this. Do your research please before bashing a product. It’s a game changer.
Good video but the allulose comments surprised me. Something being chemically in the family of sugars does not make it automatically bad. Allulose was actually discovered in the 1940s but technology wasn’t available until the last 10 years to make it a commercially viable sweetener. It is great for people like me who have strong bitter receptors since it doesn’t have an aftertaste. For me, it’s helped reduce my sugar intake without compromising (much) on sweetness so I really love it.
You have to dampen the spoolie first, for the brow soap to work ! I don't use this brand, but the one I have works very well for me ( And I'm a big fan of setting my brows with gel, like you )
Same, gel is usually my favorite for setting my brows. I have a similar brow soap product and you are 💯 on spraying the spoolie. I usually use rosewater or my face mist. Brows look so good when you use it correctly.
About the air wrap, I've been using it for 3 years now and it’s amazing. My hair is so healthy and shiny, I save a lot of time every morning bc I literally do a full blow out in 10 minutes, and it’s not damaging at all. But most importantly : the product is insanely trustworthy. I have been using it for 3 years now, on a daily basis and it’s working like day one. Totally worth the money and I sincerely believe we can use the air wrap for 5 to 10 years without feeling any failures. Honestly, you all should invest because of the time saving and the longevity of the product.
I earned a bit more than I expected a few months ago, I bought that exact model. Best money I ever spent as I no longer need a blow dry weekly which is $40. 4 months it paid for itself.
Absolutely agree with you!!! Love love love my Airwrap complete!! I had to put away my 5 other hair tools i no longer use since i got my Airwrap ❤ no more salon visits unless it is for haircuts😁
We definitely want to see a part two. Not sure if you use Sonia G makeup brushes, but would love to know if the hype is worth it. I also agree with you, the Dyson airwrap is definitely not worth it because your hair style will not last for more than 24hrs and for $500 It should last just as long as when we style it with a regular hot tool. This video was awesome 🤩
Thanks this was very informative! I also agree that magic spoon was a no go for me.... i was suckered into some deal where if you bought five boxes ( several different flavors) you got a sixth for free and free shipping and because I was trying to be Leto at the time I thought even though it was pricey it would be a good comfort food for several weeks worth of breakfasts.... first of all the volume of cereal due to narrow nature of the boxes is about half the size of standard cereal.... they try to dupe cereal flavors like Cocoa Puffs, Cap’n Crunch, fruit loops and fruity pebbles but in my opinion they wound up mostly tasting like different versions of chalk... because I spent so much money on them I unfortunately also felt obligated not to waste them but after almost reaching the end of four of the boxes I just couldn’t sacrifice my taste buds anymore and threw the rest away.... I don’t believe I have ever thrown cereal away before in my entire life.... I will say that the fruit one that tries to mimic the fruit loops was not too bad and that was the only box I did finish off... I just couldn’t justify re purchasing it at the price point__ keto or not. I like the concept of this but not the execution
I would like to add on to Shea about the Magic Spoon cereal. I actually bought around 4-5 boxes my self from all the hype it as a product received. Honestly I was very disappointed in the taste, it was not horrible, but had a very appalling after taste. Yes I do admit it is heathy, but all in flavor, I do not enjoy any of the flavor varieties they provide.
The Dyson Air Wrap was a game changer for my hair. I cannot explain why it works - but it just does! My naturally curly/frizzy hair needs it! Bought it and never looked back! I bought the Pink Stuff and I’m excited for this find Shea! Thank you.
Yes!!!! The Ordinary exfoliant is AMAZING!!! My makeup goes on so well the following morning after using it. If you have sensitive skin though I'd recommend not applying super thick and wash off a little before 10 minutes.
I love you Shea, I am much older than most of your viewers, so regarding the dyson multitasker : If I had a different budget , lifestyle, I would definitely have a stylist do my hair . The Dyson products are ridiculously priced. I am not exactly sure who the audience is for this product ,but it’s not me there had better be a magic genie granting all my wishes to pay over $500.00 for a styling tool. BTW, some time ago, maybe a few years ago, a reputable agency, business did a survey on built upright vacumms . Dyson did not even make the top ten, God Bless Shea
I ordered a full box of Magic Spoon (5x different flavors) and I would not recommend it. It tastes nothing like other cereals - and I was somewhat expecting it, but what I didn’t expect was the after taste. Wow it was bad. I had to drink or eat something after it or it would stay in my mouth all day. I can’t explain it, but it also felt like it made my mouth water more and tingle my tongue? And I don’t have any food sensitivities. But I have to give them credit for being great with their money-back-guarantee. So try it if you want to, but I would not recommend it🤷🏻♀️
Before you use eye brows soap, you should mix it with water. But put just a little bit water. And it will work perfectly. But on the other side it dries eye brows hair so be careful!!!
The brow soap, you are supposed to wet your spooley before rubbing it in the soap and it actually works amazing!! Tbh at first I didn’t know it, and I thought “why the f is this so hard” but then I read the instructions…. Lol
Fab video 💗🎉 with your dyson grab the longer barrels for sure but buy the smaller barrels 30mm it just works and the curls last longer, I had the same problem 😂
Love you Shea! You do crack me up that the Dyson Air Wrap, which you potentially use on a daily basis is too expensive, compared to luxury handbag’s you might use a few times a month, which are much higher in cost. 😜 No judgement! Just got a laugh out of that. Also a trick to make your curls last longer. Use a bobby pin to pin your curls - while your hair is ON the wand, put an opened bobby pin in one of the purple groves on the wand at the bottom, follow the grove all the way up to collect all the hair on the wand in the pin. Keep moving it up and off the wand and then pin the curl to the hair on your head. This will help set your curls while doing all your hair and cool them. It also helps with all the flying hair everywhere. 😊
The Pink Stuff is my go-to cleaning product. I was planning on getting a new utility sink because mine was stained and had paint drops here and there. It was a general disaster. Five minutes with The Pink Stuff and the sink looked new!
A doctor friend (who eats very healthy) recommended Magic Spoon cereal to me. It’s expensive for sure. The point is it doesn’t raise your glycemic index and it beats eating cereals that do! Are you saying you eat ZERO sugar? 🤔 I’m a keto coach and eating zero sugar is definitely hard to do for most people. 👏🏻
Shea, you should totally look more into dermatologist RU-vid channels (such as Dr Dray or others). You will find a lot more cheap but quality skincare products like The Ordinary (the Inkey List is pretty unanimously praised and has similar pricing). You can also pass on more scientific insight from credible sources. My skin has improved phenomenonally since I turned to dermatologist recommendations over website reviews. I think your audience trusts you, and it's a good opportunity to rely on the most credible sources or even do tutorials on re-applying sunscreen or anything else that you can take from derms. Not many people get that exposure unless they follow dermatologist channels directly, and everyone could benefit.
I ordered the multi box of Magic Spoon. It was so fantastic tasting that I ate the entire box (of six boxes) in a week lol. It triggered my sugar addiction and therefore I will never order it again.
The Ordinary AHA BHA cured my acne in 2 weeks. I'm not kidding. Including one painful acne cyst. I've spent hundreds at the dermatologist. This costs around $7. I purchase 4-5 at a time because they sell out. :) HIGHLY RECOMMEND
