Is correct. There are at least 5 big pipebomb style promos (2 Heyman, AJLee, Joey Styles) as good as each other. There's only 1 Steiner Math promo even among the long storied history of unhinged promos.

To be fair to Luke, I don't think very many non-wrestling fans would know what the Pipe Bomb is. But the first time I learned about the Steiner Math promo, it was from a friend of mine who never saw a wrestling show in his life. He saw the clip, thought it was funny, asked me for some more good promos, and now he too is a wrestling fan

And the non-wrestling fans who know of Steiner Math know it from garbage memes. The Pipebomb sent ripples throughout the industry. It's even one of the big moments that made MJF the character that he is.

The best thing about that "And his name is Cactus Jack" promo is that HHH is not worried at all about facing Mankind. Hunter knows he has his number. But when Foley says the name "Cactus Jack," and Foley is wearing the Wanted t-shirt, suddenly HHH is worried. IT'S THE SAME DAMN GUY! It's so camp, and it's amazing, and it's what makes wrestling so perfect, because even as a fan, we know it's the same human body, but it's not the same person.

My thoughts exactly. Hunter's facial expression when Mankind takes off the mask and rips open the shirt and transforms into Cactus Jack is perfect! It may be the "same guy" in terms of looks but they're two completely separate people. It's fantastic and I wish we could have something like that in today's age

MJF's pipe bomb "I want you to fire me" was one of my favorite promos ever. Especially since I saw it live in the arena and heard the crowd turn from boos to cheers. We have been cheering MJF ever since.

Unironically, i agree with Steiner Math being one of the best promos and moments in wrestling history. When you say Scott Steiner that’s the first thing that comes into mind. When you say Sacrifice you think of that promo. It’s a crazy promo but you want to see the match because of that promo.

So I was teaching a stats unit in my math class and as an example of bad stats, I showed them Steiner Maths. The look of wtaf I got for 28 kids was a look I will never forget. And 1 kid got extra credit, which I never give out, because on one question he wrote, "and if I add Kurt Angle to the mix"

Scott Steiner probably taught a generation of wrestling fans math with that one promo. I have seen quite a few videos showing the math is correct which blew my mind. That took the promo from bad to amazing. MJF did a variation on Samoa Joe not that long ago. I am little disappointed there were no Rock promos. His absolute dismantling of Billy Gunn as the voice of God is still one of my favorites.

@TequilaToothpick I think I remember seeing a clip when someone asked Jim Cornette about Steiner Maths, and he said that Scott is smart, but he is also crazy. Also, it wasn't Corny that said this, but apparently Scott is the more sane Steiner brother. Haven't heard about Rick's antics other than the occasional bar fight, but I have heard about some of Scott's (like crossing 3 lanes on a highway to run over a bird just because), and I'm not sure I believe people when they say that.

Dusty's "Hard Times" is the best promo of all times and it was just one of many. He didn't have the physique to draw, but he clearly knew how to rock the mic and put butts in seats. There is a reason WWE had him teaching wrestlers how to do promos, not Punk, not Steiner.

Glad that Pete acknowledged the Eddie Guerrero 'Addiction' promo. To this day, I still think its the greatest promo I've ever watched. Eddie put *HIS ENTIRE HEART* into that promo and you can FEEL him to such a degree. It turned EVERYONE into an Eddie fan and wanting to see him get his crowning moment (which thankfully, he did).

this is SO GOOD. Luke's #1 just GIVES ME LIFE. was hoping to see The Rock's promo against Billy Gunn somewhere on there...that's the promo that i just keep going back to and it never fails to make me laugh. it's probably my favourite promo ever. but there were some amazing ones on here...and now i've discovered that Mick Foley ECW promo, which i never realised i needed so much in my life until now.

As a female fan, I'd add AJ Lee's promo against the Bellas to the list. "You can't kiss your way to the top." Like with a lot of Punk's promos, I felt like I just heard something I wasn't supposed to lol. And it cemented her as a women's wrestler that could actually be marketed toward female fans, which we hadn't had much of up to that point, least of all in the Divas Era.

Heyman's promo in Chicago coming out instead of Punk (soon after Punk left) when the fans almost hijacked the show, and then turning it around to blame the fans for Punk leaving, then again turning it around to hype Lesnar challenging the streak. Very underrated and definitely belongs in top 10/20.

I genuinely don’t get how it’s a bad promo. It: -tells you exactly who Scott Steiner is as a character -is incredibly memorable -is kind of hilarious -is exactly what you would think of when you hear “pro wrestling” And -it gets you hyped for the match I saw that promo when it first came out as a kid and I can still quote it, I agree that it’s at least just as good as The Pipe Bomb (the opposite side of the pro wrestling coin)

I hate that i am late to the party, but i have to agree with luke. Cm punks promo is more like hate the company , focus on the little guy, etc. Like a dusty Rhodes or stone cold steve austin promo. But steiner math? That's old school wrestling. That's just pure I'm gonna kick your ass and he said it in a captivating wind. Cm punk promo is only meant for wwe. Steiner math is universal

A personal favorite of mine is dolph zigglers promo to the miz. not sure if it counts but like, that moment where he goes off on how he was never pushed "sometimes the things you love don't always love you back, and you can give, and you can GIVE AND YOU CAN GIVE AND YOU GET NOTHING IN RETURN! YOU GET NOTHING!" that raw emotion man, that is what made me a dolph ziggler fan
