I think the cpu uses the speed when you do, I’ve noticed when I blitz the gaps holding the speed I get blocked/bumped on fly by the ballcarrier, while if I don’t hold the speed an take angles an hit A/X to tackle instead of diving or hitsticking

You guys know you can just go into settings and turn menu music all the way down right? I had to do that after the first week that same drum line on repeat was killing me.

I think it’s a coding error EA hasn’t figured out yet because when you setup a dynasty it clearly says “who can edit players” in the settings but it still won’t let you so that’s my two cents hopefully we get a clear answer from EA soon about it

@@steelersnation4L knowing ea it probably is a coding error it better be because I’ve never seen a sports game where you can not edit players I can understand not being able to edit real players due to “likeness” which I still find stupid but at least they have a reason meanwhile not being able to edit auto generated players is dumb because you can edit them in the roster section go to East Carolina and find the 12 overall qb you can edit him to be a 99 overall but you can’t do it in dynasty so you are probably right it’s a coding error that will be and should be fixed soon

I don't think we'll ever be able to edit faces or names. Only equipment, height, weight and hopefully numbers someday. But definitely need to edit those things and ratings at the very least. Numbers would be great. But it's not the end of the world for me as long as they can fix the current number system.

Same this breaks the immersion so badly it made me want to quit. I was 10-2 and got knocked out of the cfp. Multiple teams above me in the tournament were 8-4 and I won the head to heads. 0 logic

The game seemed super rush because they were probably over budget and needed to go ahead and sell what they had. This feels more like a Beta Tested game than an actual Released game. No updates to editing numbers, creating players, using Team Builder teams for Offline, being able to reset coaching abilities like NCAA 14 every offseason at the very least. There is a lot wrong with this game.

@@tscott6321 I was on yesterday and noticed there was no way to create a player unless you use RTG. I’ve been playing sports games since I was a kid. This is the first sports game I’ve ever played to where you can’t create a player. Fully customize his ratings and hop in a dynasty. Thats really unfortunate

For gameplay, yes I feel like this is the biggest need and it would make it damn near perfect. Now for dynasty and QOL improvements (some that have been in previous NCAA or Madden games) they are definitely needed.

What’s your problem my players who have man coverage rating play man defense perfectly fine

i would also appreciate it if zone players that don’t have anyone in their immediate area would slide around to a receiver that is near them.

I can steal someones likeness in RTG and teambuilder and just name them something similar so this whole thing is just stupid. Ed Obannon literally sued over likeness only. The fact that nobody talks about kick off blocking is insane to me. You followed your blockers just for them to run into the opposing side but no blocking animation plays so they just slide right off each other and tackle you. Shits crazy

Idk returns feel really balanced to me. I get 15-20 yards 80% of the time, and then get a TD every few games. Speed seems to be a big factor. I put a 95 speed, 76 ovr HB on return and got him to special player of the year

@@Ocean_Native it’s not the yardage it’s about the actual glitch of your guys not blocking on kickoff (not punt) returns. The will run and look for people to block but following them means nothing because no blocking animation actually happens and the opposing team just slides right off the blockers and tackle you. I don’t care if they actually beat the block to get me, but no animation happens at all.

My favorites playbook has stayed consistent game to game in dynasty. One of the only things that works right for me lol.

tweaking the gameplay sliders has been a lifesaver for me. mess with player reaction time and coverage. also turn down cpu pass and run blocking quite a bit

In fairness. They did have to pretty much rebuild everything from scratch. It's still way better than Madden and it's fun. But yes there are definitely flaws, but overall better than I originally thought it would be and it's clear they had passion for the game. Unlike Madden

This is not getting enough traction. The Top 25 is all messed up. I can take JMU to a 10-2 record and win the sun belt, and still not get a chance at the top 12 because they gave USC a spot who went 9-3. It's so strange.

Yeah big excuse the NIL nonsense. You create a fictional character, has nothing to do with NIL.

It’s because madden has a deal with NFLPA or all of the nfl players to pretty much do whatever they want so you can edit whatever. CFB25 has to make deals individually with players so they can’t let players change them to much because it might break the rules. It’s dumb but it will probably get fixed as they make clear rules for NIL deals.

If you fill your team with missing players that didn’t sign the release. That would be an NIL issues. So I can see where it’s a bit tricky, what’s stopping us from naming these created or custom players real names?

This is actually realistic. Anytime a QB can sense that a blitz is coming in real life CFB he normally checks to something for a big play. Then it's just a matter of if your rush can beat his pass release.
