Hopefully. Even the class items now having stats worried me because I'll end up holding onto them now because of potential stat builds. It would be a pretty big change, but maybe if armor simply had allottable stats instead of random stat drops then we would only have to worry about getting certain sets of armor for their set bonus. Maybe keep stat capacity a random drop though, bc it feels good to get a 71 total exotic, or a 66 Artifice. And you could farm for an increase of say 65 stat total to 69, which will matter now bc of stats not being only affected per 10 points.
@@exxy9931God rolls of different weapon archetypes and energy types, along with unique rolls. Stuff is always a twab away from being gutted or goated, cause Bungie likes to mess around too much 🤷♂️
@@exxy9931 You just arent much of a buildcrafter then, considering having all rolls of ergo sum and all roles of the exotic class item already breaches that 700 number
They need to address the limited inventory... I normally stop playing when my inventory management becomes too time consuming. I don't see why everything can't be dismantled and brought back for free...just reset the perk choices and cosmetics
Trouble with Destiny for me is simple, you need a good team to get the most out of the game. I'm a solo player and therefore I miss out on a huge amount, sure I could lfg but will probably get stuck with some sword flying try hard that will give me the easy job instead of teaching me, speed through the whole thing with a toxic behaviour and that's not fun in the slightest
I LFGd with 2 randoms the other night for the new Vespers host dungeon. One was a sword flying try hard, but respectful, the other was a new light going through for his first time. I took the time to explain mechanics, gave him roles that were more involved, and stayed patient and encouraging when he felt like he messed up. There are plenty of people in the community willing to help out.
Yeah. Personally I don’t really remember Menagerie all that much so I never felt the same hype. BUT. it would still be cool for it to return in some shape or form.
They really need to bring back original destiny 2 content and expansion content that was sunsetted into the game. Many locations and activities left in the game currently are a shadow of their former glory and need to be brought back in a way where new lights can unlock old triumphs that they were unable to achieve during the first time of it being released but maybe to also cycle through its old seasonal content almost like a time vault that rotates every month or so. That way, there will be content new players can touch up on while giving veterans the opportunity to replay this content and activities.
I really hope they backpedal on seasonal weapons not being craftable. Chasing red border weapons was the only thing that kept me playing seasonal activities and now I'm wondering why I'd spend vastly more time trying to chase a specific roll on a weapon that may get nerfed later on. At least with crafting, if a perk is nerfed, you can swap to a different perk instead of trying to grind for the weapon roll all over again.
If you want the game to be less grindy, I think your should just play a different game man. The entire point of looter mmos is to grind and grind for new things that come out and that’s been the gameplay loop for destiny for years. No reason for it to change now
If these new modifiers like the oscillation and live wire is bungies idea of “new and innovative” modifiers, then they should probably go back to the drawing board. Yeah they’re new and unpredictable, but the way that they force you to play when I’m just trying to do a regular strike is downright annoying
I don't like that they give more rewards for not using artifact mods and that they make missions feel like an arcade game where you have to get a high score. They should focus on making missions feel like they actually happen over and over(killing the witness more than once doesn't make sense)
This is actually goated, ive started playing d2 around a year ago now but not being able to afford any of the expansions yet its been a bit limited, so its gonna be really fun to get my friends to try the game
@Jonny_Nemo kinda shitty to shame someone who may not have the extra funds to spend on gaming things. They could have way better priorities than video game content, like a family to support, rent/mortgage, utilities etc. If anything, your comment kinda shows that you are either too young to understand adult things, or are just extremely ignorant. Either way, be better.
@@Jonny_Nemo Yea cuz people have like 50 bucks lying around every 3 months and be reasonable unresponsable with money so have to spend it on destiny 2 instead of getting good games instead
Ill be honest, i miss armor 1.0 where they were segmented instead of numbered. It's so infuriating to be at 89 of a stat and not get the next tier because of 1 point.
Sounds ok but getting less dungeons sounds bad. I mostly play solo or with one more person so dungeons are the most exciting piece of content to me. Apart from that, I really hope they regularly add new abilities or aspects because new ways to play your class and build is always fun. In fact, new subclasses are the main reason I buy xpacs.
Why do people say only two types of bangs right now? In onslaught salvation I have easily versed multiple different kinds of games. Healing, leaching, meteor, shock, and stasis banes off the top of my head.
Just give me a Destiny 3 and I'll be happy. I don't want to chew on the same game with just new locations, weapons and missions that are kind of just the same as the past years.
I assume the campaign will cost, same as the new stuff. Or they will double down on cosmetics so idk. But i guess they will do something too insidious considering all we know is good changes, they will do something worse with monetization
I'm looking forward to the future. I really hope they remove time gates; it just makes the game too much of a slog. I personally do not have time to play and the current season seems to offer players with busier work schedules the ability to play at a pace that works for them.
comparing the new expansion to rise of iron dosent mean they will be as interesting or game changing, because curse of Osiris and warmind the original model were bout the same length aprox. 3 hours story, its just bungie dancing around the truth and they still dont know what there doing lets just hope there stay on schedule
@@ShadowDestiny2 ah. my bad. So many others have quit and when I saw your "Goodbye Destiny" video on Shadow Destiny 3 i thought you were calling it quits, but i just watched again and i guess i missed the end where you said you were in for long haul.
I'm glad Bungie is dying right now, they actually started making the game better but not just copy and paste with minor changes. I hope they come back with frontiers and learn this lesson for the future.
hot take: i want bungie to reduce the amount of loot we get, back in destiny 1 you had a much lower chance of getting loot such as legendaries and exotics, which actually made them exciting to get, nowadays i have too many exotic engrams, a billion legendary engrams just sitting around and im not bothered to open them cause they're going to give me stuff i dont care about. 90% of dropped items i don't even look at cause i would have no use for them at all
I agree. Especially for exotics. I actually really liked how rare it was to get exotic drops in D1. However, if they did something like this I'd want them to add all exotics to the pool. It's really sad getting exotic engrams and knowing you've got them all. I hate having to grind out things like lost sectors to get new exotic armour.
This wouldn't work anymore Going backwards like this would feel like shit. We are now used to getting showered in loot. If this was cut the game would feel less rewarding to 90% of players. Also the game isn't about getting an exotic or a legendary anymore. It's about getting a good stat split and good perks
OK, I will come out and say I want 1500 silver cause I need the warlord ruin dungen cause it is awesome to solo flawless and I know ther I no chance I will get the silver I am just saying whats in my mind...GG
More than anything I want them to double down and go into class identity. They’ve been too scared to make the classes behave in a large difference. Making the gameplay loops very similar per class and boring overall, but also negating the necessity for specific classes. At this points whats stopping me from making three slam titans or three melee centric/invis hunters? Creating a larger difference between classes would make the game more enjoyable and make much different learning experiences, mastery knowledge, and overall health of the game better. It would also make me want to play my other characters more often. Creating a different loop/build per character would spice up incredibly repetitive boring content, making it so I could get an entirely different experience per character.
They are literally renaming Seasons, and pretending that it's something different. Absolutely ridiculous. It's like when California forces a new tax on the poor, and calls it a "Fee". Bungie is peeing on your leg and telling you it's raining. Edit: RU-vid won't let me answer the re-derp ShortestKongest in the comments. So I'll just edit this and answer it here. No one said a Season had to have a story. The current season doesn't (30 minutes is not a story). I suppose someone was going to be fooled by this ridiculous lie Bungie is telling. Now we know who it is.
@@SlongestKongest Holy cow! That was some seriously derpy garbage! Your short bus must be a tricycle! Who said that a season has to have a story, you absolute clown? The current season doesn't. Unless you're derpy enough to say that 30 minutes of "Story" qualifies as a season. You forgot to mention that we will also get a new Artifact with each "Major Update" (new word for Season). So what did we get this season? An update to the balance patch and a new game mode. We also got a new Artifact. It's just Seasons again. I suppose someone was going to be fooled by the simple renaming. Now we know who is derpy enough to fall for it.
@@SlongestKongest Ah, RU-vid didn't like my previous comment. I'll try to answer this derp one more time. It's a season. No one said a season has to have a story. The current season doesn't. Unless you think that 30 minutes of "Story" is a story. We got a balance patch, a new activity and an artifact. What will we get when they rename Seasons as "Major Updates"? A balance patch, a new activity and an artifact. I suppose someone was going to derpy enough to fall for Bungie's BS. Now we know who.
change and evolve eh? thts tru in a way now they can charge twice per year n if they keep th current prizing (which i suspect they'll do) then they get double the amount of money :)
Nah. It's one thing to be forced to use the "new" gear (Gnawing Hunger with literally the same perks the first time sunsetting was implemented), it's another to have incentive to use the new gear while still having the option to use your old if you so choose. Until said otherwise, Destiny is a looter-shooter. Meaning we will always be encouraged to go for the new stuff instead of investing in our favorite gear. Starting to rethink whether I like that or not myself.
@@mikethehunter5212 yeah but there fundamentally going to make the old gear we use, useless, there going to make it so the artifact perks are required to clear harder end game content, you cant use what we want anymore moving forward, and man, lfg's will get even more toxic, it will be a fundamental requirement to have the new exotic/ legendry's that patch.
@@Honed- good we need a reset or sunsetting of weapons As it is rn I don't care about 99% of weapons as I alr have these weapons. This new system is good as it allows for more build crafting and a reason to grind
They just won a major lawsuit against one of those companies offering cheating software for several games including theirs. That's one step in the right direction.
When are people gonna realize a dead game is dead? Weren't content creators 2 weeks ago, making videos of how destiny is bad and looking for new games? Lol Stop it Get some help.
Nearly 150k players avg online on all platforms combined is far from death. The contentcreator drama just has another reason: there are too many generic destiny contentcreators who do exactly the same content. Reading the TWAB or showcasing the same build 100 other people already did with just another voice is no meaningful content.
