The ten largest space monsters ever depicted in live-action films are featured in this video, some of which you may be familiar with and some of which you may not. Ok, so let's get down to business.
In Star Trek The Motion Picture the ship is called V'GER. It is a probe from Earth, Voyager 6. That found a planet of living machines. They made the giant ship so Voyager/V'GER could fulfill it's basic program and return the information back to Earth.
Stellaris has some very big ships, crestures and structures that can be searched up on. Especially in the Gigastructures mod when the scale of things gets truly exponentially insanely large and powerful.
@@zachialadams9279 I didn't know there was even a Terra Structural sub mod developed by fans. Just what does it look like and how does the game process such a platform.
It is V-GER not V’Gor, the name is based off the Voyager 6 space probe, that was sent out into space by NASA in the 20th century to collect information, learn all that is knowable. It drifted off course and encountered a machine like race that completed its programming, thus V’Ger was born! Two hundred years when the USS Enterprise encountered The alien vessel, Captain Kirk and his crew discovered its nexus, which turned out to be an old satellite. The markings were old and rusted and bore the name V’Ger, when Kirk rubbed the surface the name Voyager was revealed!😎
Okay, I do like this video, but, the last one- V’Gor-is actually V’Ger, shortened from Voyager. Star Trek: The Motion Picture states it’s (the non-existent) Voyager 6. Other than that, I did like the video. And sorry everyone, not trying to be a jerk about it. It’s just us Star Trek fans get picky about things like that
"Vigger" :P Sorry but it made me laugh. What it's really called is V-GER, as in, VOYAGER-1 except some of the letters got ruined. Voyager-1 was a space probe sent out of the solar system in 1977, and Star Trek very smartly came up with the idea that the probe somehow developed sentience, and "came back" in the future. Looking for earth, for its creators, so to speak, but with flawed understanding of its origin. So yeah, it didn't even know it was originally called Voyager because it was damaged and so only the letters V-GER remained :)
