Here is another hack... Since you have that thin flat piece of lead shown at 2:20, cut it into a thin stripe. Take some small hammer and gently tap it along and around just so you remove sharp edges and make it kind of round. Then wrap it around something straight and firm (strong steel wire, needle or whatever) to make it spiral, similar to what you did at 10:10. And you got a weight you can easily place and replace around fishing line. Just wrap line around it and then press with your fingers to close the gaps. If you want to change or replace that weight with bigger or smaller, just stretch it, unwrap it and wrap another one without the need co cut the line. Quickly and easily.

11:14 I super glue tiny magnets to the bottoms of tiny vials or test tubes for keeping snelled hooks. Make sure there’s enough loop sticking out to pull them out. Also- orient all the magnet’s North-South poles the same way or they will stick to each other!
Also, you book a ticket to the Amazon forest, book a safari trip and fight the wilderness to pick up the best Bamboo stick to make your own fishing rod and save the trip to the nearest tackle shop .
