Exactly. Ryan and Kelly pointed out the flaws with Nate’s design that ended up costing him the win. If he had listened to them he might have made it to the finale

I thought it was weird that Chris called both tattoos bulletproof and neither judge blinked at the fact Nate's tattoo only has one boob. Did they not drink their coffee before that challenge? I never thought I would feel that Chris isn't being judgy enough.

I mean the guy didn't land his job as a canvas on the show from being a genius... But i don't want to be an asshole to the guy, he deserves credit for trying to correct his mistake, especially when it was from when he was 13 and groomed into that mentality. Kids are crazy impressionable, and it isn't common for leaders of these groups to take advantage of that.

Sara's kid portrait was beautiful, I wish she would have done his eyes blue though. Maybe it wouldn't have gotten her the win, but it would still have been bulletproof and the eyes are what the canvas wanted the most.

Im surprised That Laura Marie’s Japanese back piece didn’t make it as a bulletproof tattoo. I personally think it’s the best tattoo ever done on ink master history.

Nate reminds me of this girl i knew who was upset because she lost the talent show. She said she has been singing since she was 3 or 4 and taking lessons etc, but the winner has never taken a single lesson. SOME people are simply just more gifted naturally. Like that one student that never studies but always gets A’s.

Juan deserved that win. I thought I was a good artist but these people drawing on someone with a tattoo gun. These people are amazing artists. Gian won by listening to people who always do amazing jobs. Nate should’ve been more humble

i think they do pop the way she did them. but i think making them in color would have looked creepy, if yk what i mean. Also we don’t know what color his eyes are. They /seem/ light but it doesn’t necessarily mean vibrant blue, they might be pale green or light hazel and would have just looked muted for the look that you were going for.

They missed one with Chris's Naval portrait from season 6. That thing was absolutely flawless and besides Krusemans finale backpiece was the best tattoo of the season, in my opinion.

Ryan is one of the most respected tattoo artists there is and literally every single season everyone hates each other and stuff. If anything, Ryan had it easy and she had a team of girls backing her up 24/7, the dudes are always on their own, especially guys like Cleen and Christian.

It bugs me when the judges firmly clarify where the tattoo has to go, then the artists tattoo NEAR, but not ON, the stated placement. And they don't get crap for it.
