I wish you’d included more about Steve and his daughter. He eventually did acknowledge her as his own, and he named Apple’s second computer “The Lisa.” He wound up being very active in her life all the way up until his death, and she changed her name to include his last name in hers.

Okay, I get not wanting to support someone you're not obligated to or that you feel has become a leech or something, but even if you find out someone's not your biological child...how do you just cut the attachment off like it's nothing after raising them and being the father figure for over 20 years!!??? That just shows you never really cared about them and was just keeping up a front to look good because the child was young and apparently yours.
