I finally got a master bedroom with walkin closet and a light. Like wow I can see my clothes. I thought it was awesome, now I look at Sheas closet (which is a room) and I thinking which of my kids are going to move out first?!?!? Just kidding
Lol I thought it was normal to have one in your closet lol, but I know there are some houses that don't have them in the closet, cause my last house didn't.
Cheers for the video content! Sorry for the intrusion, I would love your thoughts. Have you researched - Mahorrla Control Clutter Method (do a google search)? It is a great one off product for decluttering your home minus the hard work. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my mate finally got great success with it.
The production quality in your videos is impressive. It's entertaining, you're charismatic. The video is 10 minutes long but it moves quickly, and there are never any stalls, it doesn't feel like a drag. Honestly impressed. Amazing job.

I used to work in retail and the way I organize my clothes since I work there was to first sort by color and then sleeve length it makes things so much easier. I especially love her tip about having a basket for your handbag essentials when you switch out handbags I do that so often and sometimes actually lose stuff or forget which purse it’s in so that is a great tip
Great Little Hints! The way you Organize your Closet is Exactly how I do it! I've been a Fanatic about putting like colors together & keeping things a certain way! I actually keep all my pants/skirts in certain categories, by color & then my tops in categories by color! Handbags, by Color, go above that color scheme & shoes are color organized! We've always decided the night before what we were going to wear, my husband has a Valet Stand for shirt, jacket, trousers, & shoes on the floor below! When our boys were home they had their clothes "laid out" the night before including socks & shoes! I have my clothes hanging on the rack in front of the others, so I can just grab them & put them on, shoes & all! Each outfit has jewelry/scarf to go with it which I hang in a small bag with it! It's amazingly easy to get ready, no "Last of the Minute" decisions are necessary!
The basket thing for closet essentials was a really good idea. I just don't know anyone that empties out the contents of their purse every night. That one might be just for Shea.

I LOVED how you would offer suggestions for different peoples situations and the things you’ve suggested I’ve NEVER seen (a basket for purse items, changing the lightbulbs) so THANK YOU from this huge organization lover. My husband hates when I color coordinate his clothes 😂 apparently guys don’t think, “I want to wear x color shirt today.” They think, “I want to wear my most worn shirt” which is why most guys I know sort from most worn to least worn lol

Just this morning I’ve watched about 10 vids on close/scarves organizing, you are the best. Had a big smile in my face to see that I am already implementing some of your tips, same hangers, clothes pointing to same direction, I organized mine by short to long sleeves, though. Really like the idea of bags and closet essentials basket. I have two very “yellow” ceiling lights in my closet, one standing lamp and two windows and still darkish. So, Lowe’s here I come! The matching hangers thing is brilliant I swear. It looks so much neater. I have lovely wooden hangers, a friend uses black velvet. Makes a difference. The essentials thing I have little things in a pouch. Bandaids, pain killers, etc. Makes it easier to grab stuff in the morning. I have a full length mirror jewellery cabinet. It was the best birthday gift! EBay. Worth it!
Hey Shea I also organize all the wardrobes in the bedroom in color coordination. It always looks so neat. I also use the same hangers as per wardrobe. I do like your idea for a outfit of the day pully. Im going to put that idea to good use. I love my full length mirror to. Everyone needs one of those. Great ideas.

10 closet tips and tricks (hope this helps! 😉❤️) Tip 1. Change your lightbulb to somewhere on the Calvin scale between 4,000 and 5,000 Tip 2. Get matching hangers (ex. All white, all black) Little trick in between: if your right handed have your clothes faceing left and if your left handed have your clothes faceing right Tip 3. Organize your clothes by color and if you have a big closet organize it by type then color Tip 4. Have a basket of "Closet essentials (see 3:32 for examples) Tip 5. If you have handbags then have a basket in your closet beside them so it's ready Tip 6. Get drawer organizers to have a more deep organized look Tip 7. Get rid of all of your jewelry that you don't want so you don't have something that you won't wear next to the stuff you will Tip 8. Pick a spot in your closet and hang your outfit of the day on it every single day Tip 9. Get a full length mirror even if you can't fit it in your closet put it on your door or some other place (see 8:05 for examples) Tip 10. Have a spot for you finishing touch things

I just bought a rolling clothes rack very large holds 300lbs of clothes and it has four pullout ends to hold outfits for my entire week....so much fun to plan those on the week end now that I have a dedicated place for.thrm.

I totally agree with point 9, the full length mirror. I grew up without one at my parents house but after I bought my own house I had to have one. I have very little storage space so it’s stuck on the back of my bedroom door. And it’s worth its weight in gold. It gives me so much more confidence to just be able to take 5 seconds to close the door and check my complete outfit before I leave the house every day.

The cheapest place to buy those no-slip hangers is without a doubt Amazon. TJ Maxx and Walmart have good options, but you can get a HUGE box of them from Amazon for a fraction of the price

Your shelves look like art - to die for. I LOVE organizing everything - problem is I can’t seem to finish and I’m always switching things around. We share a closest that isn’t huge, and I keep beauty products in there too - I think I need a total overhaul and only keep things I love in my closet - when it’s storage too it can be hard to find things. I love your necklaces too.

I don’t think many of us know why items are so cheap at the dollar store; did you know some of the items are made by wrongly imprisoned folks from North Korea? Please do your research if you care to confirm what you are buying and where it comes from.
I was thinking she drastically overpaid for her one basket. Dollar stores have 3 packs for $1! Regarding the discount prices @ Dollar Store, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, etc. and how it could possibly support poor working conditions, human trafficking, and Lord only knows what else. Unfortunately, those stores aren't the only ones with questionable products. It is near impossible to help fight that cause unless you are trying to stop counterfeiting designer goods. Fighting the good fight for plastic containers is meaningless. Who's to say the Container Store and Target aren't worse?

Excellent how-to video that focuses on things you can do now with what you have around the house. Easy to follow, clear concise points that impressed me enough to subscribe as a 40 year old dude.
I lived on a boat for ten years only foldables that would fir in one suitcase, mostly shorts an tee shirts in the Caribbean...now we have a home in the tropics and I am obsessed with space...never gave it a thought before the boat life. US end of season clothes from Nordstrom. Etc etc are shipped here and sold in outdoor markets at ridiculously cheap prices so oops have gotten a bit carried away since I now have space and cheap but nice clothes finds constanly...it is a bit crazy making and I am a retired psychology professor. Currently taking my old art studio and making it a dressing room my husband is egging me on while I am trying to find some self control. HAving fun though ....you never know where life will take you or how much space you will.have...you just adapt.
