I just had to let you know that you have been such a blessing! You have inspired me and my 13 year old daughter to reverse the damage that traction alopecia has caused my daughter emotionally and physically. I let her watch a few of your early vids a month ago and I instantly saw a change in her attitude and confidence when it came to us talking about her hair. She suffered from complete balding of the temples for the past 6 years and for the first time she now has hair growing in those areas after I began treating her hair, diet and scalp after watching your videos and getting tips, your advice, and just seeing how much faith and confidence in overcoming alopecia. We both are grateful for your energy and experience and we appreciate your amazing videos! Please continue to share your knowledge and beautiful spirit! God bless
That is AMAZING! I am so happy for you both! Please know that I truly appreciate your support and encouragement. You inspire me to keep inspiring YOU! Have a blessed day and BIG HUGS! xox

Great video lady. I realised that I do so many things you mentioned . I like the part you said, we don't need to follow other people's regiments . I use to do that and last month I decided to start doing it my own way but using few tips from the helpful youtubers like you. Thank you soo much for sharing.
It's always a pleasure to watch your video,in my opinion too I also a big believer of what you consume helps your hair to grow.Keep the vids coming ,I love them all 🌹

great video :) I started my journey about 2 yrs ago (September 2014! my first mini chop) I went from neck length to armpit length.(when straightened) Even with my progress I love to watch your vids, I learn so much. Keep up the good work! your hair is beautiful
Watched several of your videos and wanted to try the three step products you have for alopecia. The only thing is I'm allergic to castor oil and not sure if you have it mixed in your oil blend. Can you just tell me if that's one of the ingredients please? And by the way your hair is gorgeous!
This was absolutely helpful. Thank you so much for uploading this video. This actually help me a lot. I was comparing my hair to all these RU-vid videos of other people hair who's hair didn't even look like mine.. so this video was really helpful for me and gave me a lot of hope. Thank you so much!!!😀😊😊
Great tips! You give those in the hair battle hope! Thanks! For me my hair started to shed excessively because of co-washing, all of the benefits everyone else got my hair did the opposite. I have to use shampoo and conditioner and my hair has been thriving and thickened up!
Thank you so much! I am so happy that you are figuring out what is working for you. That is the best thing that you can do for your hair growth journey and trust me, you will see amazing results by being consistent with what works for you! Have a great day! xo

I am honoured that you wrote this to me. That is my aim, to really encourage you. It is not easy to find encouragement when we are struggling with hair growth (and hair loss in some cases), so it really makes me feel blessed that this video has encouraged you. Please know that these messages encourage me to continue to do what I do, so I want to thank YOU for your encouragement and support as well. It means so much to me. Have a great day!! xo
As a black male with short hair looking trying to regrow my thinning hair and get waves, is it ok to use conditioners/leave in? I heard conditioners aren't suppose to touch the scalp.
Hello Hun! Great question! Yes, my moisturizing spritz has aloe vera in it. This is because when I was using it in my hair (before I found out I was allergic to it) my hair felt softer and more moisturized. However, with continued use, my scalp started itching and my hair fell out. So I stopped using it. Even though I cannot use aloe vera, it has helped so many people and their hair is flourishing so I continue to promote aloe's amazing benefits on hair moisture and growth. I use the same spritz, but I substitute the aloe vera for something else. It does not work as good as the aloe, but all of you all can benefit from the amazing benefits of aloe vera! I hope this helps you. Have a great day! xo
I'm truly glad that I came across your video there is so much information thank God I realize that I am allergic to the Jamaican castor oil and a few other oils I have and I have tossed them again thank you. I will give you an update soon
It's great that you figured out what you were allergic to. That can help you to find what products will work best for you. You are always welcome. Have a great day! xo
Honestly, I have no words for your generosity and kindness. Your support over the years has been a blessing and I truly do care about you. Have an amazing day and please stay in touch sis. Many Blessings. xo
Another helpful video...thanks for being so giving and thoughtful on your natural hair journey. My hair is growing healthy from using your shea butter balm. I keep it protected by covering it with a satin bonnet at night and throughout the day with scarf, cap or hat. I hope to have big hair by spring 2017!
That is Amazing! Thank you so much for sharing this with me and you are always welcome. Please feel free to leave a review on my website if you ever get a chance. These testimonies really help to encourage others to let them know that they are not alone. Have a blessed day and please stay in touch! xox
Oh no! I'm glad you figured out that it was aloe vera in good timing. I lost so much hair because I didn't know what it was. You are always welcome and thank you for connecting with me. Have a great day! xo
I'm about to purchase your products but I don't know which one I should get first I'm cutting my hair all over again and I want something good for my hair so should I get the black soap shampoo or the whipped mixture?
Hello hun, when I started out on my journey I was using both the whipped mixture and the black soap shampoo and that's when I began to see results. So I recommend starting there. If I had to pick between the two I would probably try the whipped mixture and then get the black soap shampoo. I hope that helps, have a great weekend! xo
I'm having trouble with my edges on the right side . I believe it's due to a high level of stress . I don't have alopecia. I'm thinking about regrowth should I start all over . .....was going to wait 3 months to see if it fills in ...
I think that you should do what your inner instincts suggest. Wait 3 months and see if it fills in first. If you ever need more tips and advice of hair growth, please grab a copy of my new eBook: shop.alopeciafree.com/product/alopecia-free-e-book/ It is full of tips on what has helped me and many others and I am sure it can help you also. I wanted to send you a picture of the clips I think is ok for the ends of my twist, how do I send a picture before I buy them? And I so appropriate your response from the last question
I have always felt that there is a limit to individual hair growth. Is this the longest your hair has ever been or can you recall it being longer in the past before chemicals and adult styling?
Hello Hun! My hair has never been this long - all of my life. The longest my hair has ever been is 6-7 inches. It would not grow longer than that. I also use to think that hair only grew to a certain length, but I have learned that this is not the case. I hope this helps you. Have a great day! xo
Hey Hun! The protective style that I have been rocking for the past 3 years are my 2 strand twists. My hair loves this style! I do not use added hair, I only use my own. I hope this helps you. Have a great day! xo
Thanks for replying back😎 I use added hair...do you think the oils will work well for me while I wear my protective styles? I just started using coco nut oil and shea butter😁
There are so many. I share more helpful hair growth tips on my website and in my Hair Growth ebooks. You can find them here: shop.alopeciafree.com/product-category/e-books/ www.alopeciafree.com/ Hopefully these tips can help you. Have a great day! xo
Hello Hun! You are always welcome. Thank you for your kind words. Yes, a shampoo can cause "dandruff, dry scalp, itching, ect." You may be allergic or sensitive to the ingredients or there may be too many harsh chemicals. Try your best to stick to all natural if possible. For more tips please check this out: shop.alopeciafree.com/product/stimulating-shampoo/ If you have any further questions, I am always happy to help you. Have a great day! xo
That's how I felt about coconut oil and I just didn't realise it.. I felt maybe I needed to use it more or another way, it seemed to be the manic oil.. but now I'm trying avacado oil and aragan that are low and non comedogenic, good for low porosity hair. Did more research after I watched your coconut oil video, no longer on the coconut oil bandwagon it's not for everyone.
Lol! You are right. I jumped off the bandwagon when I realized that it wasn't for everyone. Keep doing you research and getting to know what works for you. You will be amazed at how your hair flourishes when you realize what works and what doesn't work. Have a great day! xo
Taj Mahal it was drying made my hair sooo dry, made my scalp itch, couldn't get it out of my hair when it was time for washing.. It was just a big mess!
It all depends on what you are using. Natural, healing products will not do that, unless you have allergies or sensitivities. But if you are buying chemical filled products that it is 50/50. It may work great or it may work horribly and cause breakage. I hope this helps you. Have a great day! xo
Hello Hun! Currently my hair has been on my head for 3 years and 3 months. I uploaded my 2.5 year length check video very late. May 1st 2016 should have been my 3 year update video not my 2.5 year update. I know it's confusing, but my hair grows about 4-5 inches per year. As of May 1st 2016 - my hair has grown 12-15 inches all the way around. My 3 year length check is coming soon. Stay tuned for that! Sorry for all of the confusion. I hope this helps you. Have a great day! xo
Hello Hun! You may not need an oil. You may need a moisturizer. Spray your hair wth a bit of warm water in the morning, to "loosen" your hair and than apply some leave in moisturizer to help you to seal in the moisture. This will help you to keep your hair soft and moisturized longer. I hope this helps you. Have a great day! xo
Great question! I speak more on the benefits of scalp massages in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uNdF5jBDDXM.html I will also be putting more information on my website: alopeciafree.com Please stay tuned for that! Also, if you have any more questions, I am happy to help you. Have a great day! xo
i have a satin scarf but not pillow is that a issue and i only been using one type of product on my hair is that bad like I only been natural for about well I transition in September did the big chop in April but my hair has really grown but I really don't do nothing to it I have 4a type hair I have not did a hot oil treatment I just don't know what to do but wash it put oils in it but my hair is growing
Hello Hun! If your hair is growing, that is great! Keep doing what you are doing. If your hair feels more dry, brittle, weak, etc - as it gets longer- then you can do hot oil treatments, but if your hair is fine, leave it alone. You're doing a great job! Have a great day! xo
It's going well. Thank you so much for checking in. I will have more info on my website in the next 2-3 weeks. Please stay connected on Facebook and you will know for sure! Have a great day! xo
Hello Hun! Do you mean physical weight (how much you weigh) or your hairs weight? Sorry if this is a silly question, I just want to make sure I am helping you out as best that I can. I currently do not have a video about low porosity hair, but I can make one for you. My daughter has low porosity hair and her hair is at bum length, so I can certainly help you with that. Let me know. :)
+AlopeciaFreeWithJass Definitely , please and yes I meant physical weight , I currently have my hair in crochet braids and since I have low prosity I want to know to take care of it . especially now due to me heading off to college
Hello Hun! Yes, weight does play a factor in some cases, but I have met some really "over weight" people with healthy, super long. Everyone is so different. Please keep in mind that stress over going to college can be a factor amongst other things that may be going on in your life. I hope this helps you. Oh and CONGRATS for going to college! Study hard and reach for the stars. You will do great! I am praying for you! xox
If you haven't checked out my new eBook it is even better then the video. You can find it here: shop.alopeciafree.com/product/alopecia-free-e-book/ If has amazing hair growth tips that have helped me and many others. I hope you find it helpful also. If you ever have any questions, please feel free to message me again. Have a great day! xo

can U suggest me 1 oil for my itching sclap (dandruff), my hair is getting thinner and red in color (my actual hair color is black). My hair getting damaged day by day
Hello Hun! Yes, I am always happy to help you! Can you please contact me from my website and I will do my best to help you on your journey. Have a great day! xo
BlueDust 🙁 The struggle is real. I went natural because I felt like relaxers were damaging my hair. But I never thought that going natural meant I'd never be able to straighten my hair again. Lol
Nea J I feel ya. I went natural because I hated the difference in textures mu hair had, but I don't really miss straightening my hair anymore, because my hair puffs up really easily anyways (and it's too much maintenance)
+AlopeciaFreeWithJass Thanks for answering ... Because I thought I purchased the wrong hair product, seeing how I never knew what rosemary oil smelled liked.
+Kimorra Lucas if you were bald like an eagle and had this stretched its a good length but now it's up to length retention and a year of this is really great! (Don't forget to trim them 🙈)
Hey Hun! I am so sorry that this has happened to you. Please do not give up or be discouraged. I have spoken to stylists and apparently if your hair is cut a certain way it can "shock" your hair follicles and your hair may stop growing for a bit (which has happened to you). However, with a proper regimen and proper products you can stimulate your hair follicles and "wake them back up". I have seen this happen in real life, so I know that your hair can grow over time. Please stay encouraged and if you need to connect, message me anytime. Have a great day! xo
Hello Sharon! Congrats on 4 months! Trust me time flies by! I don't know where 3 years went! You are always welcome. Thank you for your kind words and please stay connected. Have a great day! xo
I am so sorry to read this. Please check out my website for more helpful tips that can help your hair to stop breaking and start flourishing. I hope it help you better. If you have any questions, please make sure to message me again. I would be happy to help you. Have a great day! xo
+Kikii a yah. I still wish wish mine would grow a lil faster tho. On the bright side . I went natural early enough.. Am fro-ing on my high school graduation. No matter the lenght
Hey Hun! Yes, it grew pretty quickly, but please remember when I was on my first hair growth journey (about 6 years ago - before these past 3 years) I did not know what I was doing and my hair was not growing. My hair has never been longer than 6 inches (my WHOLE LIFE!). Once you find out what your hair/body likes, trust me, it will just flourish. Please stay connected and please keep me posted on your journey. If you have any questions, I am always happy to help you. *BIG HUGS*
Yes, but not intolerable itching that causes you scalp to be inflamed and sore. Hair growth itching is more "annoying" like a light feather on your scalp. It's hard to explain, but new hair growth does not cause more hair loss issues. I hope this helps you. Have a great day! xo
AlopeciaFreeWithJass yeah thank yew :p I think you specifically can strengthen and help your hair by changing your lifestyle up you know with diet and sleep patterns. look up john bergman hes the best! :)
