I know that stuff always pisses me off because I wanted to watch a video on that particular thing that I've seen before it only got up to like a third scale model they never finished the actual product
It's just a single track with no vehicle attached to it and costs half the price of a tesla model 3. Most of these vehicles (except for the sherp) are completely idiotic or insanely overpriced, often both. And that guy who forgot to take his snowbike out of the box it was shipped in and just rode around on the box lmao. Well that's what it looked like. A 5 year old could design better vehicles.
The Sherp DOES NOT rely on its tyres for floatation in water. The vehicle’s/vessel’s hull can float without them. Sherps are shipped with car wheels fitted instead. However, the big wheel/tyre combination does supply the propulsion in water.
That snowchair would be awesome but damn...$30000.00 is a nice new car...from Wyoming USA 🔫🤠🇺🇸p.s stay safe and healthy everybody GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY
It’s funny, Bombardier started off with a vehicle with a propeller pushing it. Also there was a snowmobile that you were towed by a motor with track. This was back in the early 60s. I’ll stick with my Polaris toys.
It's awesome to see you guys think outside the box and do things just for the sake of trying something new. My wife always refers to me as macgyver, you guys can be counted on to take it to the next level. Awesome 😎
Good video but you should definitely include snowmobiles because even through they aren't as exotic as these vehicles, they're faster and more capable in snow than every vehicle on this list.
Mostly agree with you except snowmobiles don't do well in water. Fishing for bodies is a grim task. There's plenty of water in the north central US waiting for you to break through the ice and disappear. Happens every year unfortunately.
@@LuvBorderCollies yeah but the only one of these that's better on a lake is the sherp and while its a cool vehicle it's nowhere near as capable as a snowmobile in deep snow
The wheelchair one was very interested people who are disabled I think could get you out and do a lot more able to go to places you can't go in a regular wheelchair but for that price . but good job keep up the good work
Agree. Those narrow track vehicles are not going to work in deeper snow. I grew up in the north central US where most snow is wind hardened on the surface. Narrow track will just break through into softer snow and you will be stuck. That Sherpa looks like a blast if you have an area that has all kinds of obstacles plus water. I hate iced over lakes or worse., rivers. Every year we lose people to falling through the ice. Snowmobile would be fine for most of our terrain but I'd like airbags on the sides to keep it off the lake bottom. :)
5:15 and that "thing" costs 18k dollars!?! Insane, it would be expensive for what it is if it cost 1/10th of that. You have to be out of your mind to buy that "track".
@@dennisbanks706 - For the most part I agree that not much can stop a Sherp,... but then I got to thinking about a snow covered crevasse. Ouch! LOL Cheers.
yep, for the price of one of them you could get a bv206 witch can carry 17 passangers including the driver or up to 2700kg of cargo and its fully amphibious .
@@jamesferryman4031 Not even close bud...Ripsaw tops out at 60mph...a stock Yamaha Sidewinder will do 120mph...hell a stock Yamaha SRX from 20 years ago would do 120mph. My point is snowmobiles are superior in every aspect, what is yours?
For the amount of materials that it obviously takes to build many of the vehicles featured in this video...most of them could have been priced for a lot less so that more people could have bought them which would have increased sales and they would have been far successful companies. But sadly, most of these producers priced themselves out of reach for the average person and for that, will likely not make near as much money. Oh well, their loss I guess. Someone should make a more price competitive vehicle that the masses can afford and put ALL of these, looking to be millionaires, out of business.
Someone should make a smaller more affordable version of the Ripsaw that seats 2-4, has a cargo area, and say half the HP, so plenty still at 700. Yes you can put tracks on a 4 seat SXS, but the "tank" track design with the high ground clearance would be awesome for fun stuff like in the video, but also a better design for mountain or rough terrain rescue or even just hunting/utility.
@@hadrian2505 Well I think over time I could, but not with my current shop. I have the welder and other tools, and friends with CNC equip, but a tiny car garage atm. I also found out they do make a 700 HP model, but still call it a "luxury" model and is nearly just as much as this model.
If you would just turn that loopy loopy music up just a little bit more it would totally block out your voice. I had to mute the sound and turn on captions to be able to get the dialogue. Even the captions had difficulty picking out your voice and would just say, 'music'. Why would you do that to an otherwise great video? Obviously somebody went to great lengths to get all that video footage just to have it destroyed by one person in post processing. What you should do is just listen to the soundtrack for the full length of the video like we do, instead of the few seconds like you do. When you pick the music you only hear ree-wahhh ree wah ree wah and then you select it, what we hear is ree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wahree-wahhh ree wah ree wah Do you get the point now? rip saw a slower version of an mountain snowmobile for only 33 x the cost. not bad for the 5 point harness and a heated enclosure. and yet still slower than a 1000 cc snowmobile. Truly a toy for the stupid rich
Bill Gates could add a lot of joy to the world of paraplegic people buying a fleet of those Ziesel Sports and making them available to them to rent for little-to-no cost.
Hello hope everyone is doing alright. Here is the story back in 1998 i have lost my right hand from the rest and injured my right leg the femur part i am lebanese living in lebanon at the moment but jusr feel like the wrong person in the wrong place. Like the lebanese gov. Doesnt really care about the 15% of the citizenc who has disability that live in the country instead of helping and giving them monthly benefits for example not $1000 but $500 at least they dont plus the law 220/2000 is not applied yet so I dont have rights to practice or enjoy like other disabiled people in other countries. I dont have my own apartment or place yet also am single and unable to have / be in a girlfriend boyfriend relationship. Also in lebanon there are 102 org's. But half of them are not legal the other half are theifes and take advantage of the disabilied. But as the size of my country in my opinion Lebanon doesnt need 102 org. Its like they made it there job and all the money they recive or donations goes to there pockets to be spent on tbem selves and we get nothing from it. I have a feeling that those org. They dont want us to have a better future or get married one day also be indepandent. So they want us to always be at our knees and beg them for help .. anyway I hope this message gets to everyone also hope you guys could help me start an indepandant organization also keep intouch and help me build an 8 level building spaceilly made to house and support about 100 guy and girl with disability also employee 150 lebanese guys and girls and which the public can also benefit from not just the disabiled. Currently am trying to design and draw that 8 level building in 2D and hopefully I get your support on that project. If you are serious and willing to help please contact me so we can talk more about it and see how and when you can be of help. Note: instead of just clicking the like botton or replying with a negative comment / saying "good luck with that" do something to help me and change the lives of others i really appriciate it.note not everyone who asks for help online should be called a scam . Some pretty cool vehicles, but definitely not cool having a picture of something that is not included. I get it. It’s a ploy to get more viewers or likes, but it’s dishonest.
I like the Sherp-vehicle the best. 65K for base-model is not totally out of reach. It offers protection from bad weather and it can traverse lakes regardless water or ice. Also, it goes through severe mudholes like best in class: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RNtZb4vWNLA.html
it is out of reach, you could get a bv206 for 30k witch is better in every way, or you could get a really good new snowmobile and a ok atv for around 30k
@@einar8019 The 65K pricetag seems to be a mistake - 115K is the updated figure. And yes you are right - if you can get a bv206 in good condition for 30K, then it's a better deal. Still though - if money didn't matter I would still go for the Sherp for other reasons.
@@einar8019 ..........all may be true but that all goes down the drain if they can't get you to where you need to go, functionally as far as terrain traveling ability goes the Sherp is considerably a better vehicle.
