WOW! I wish we had these for camping when I was a child. We slept in an old army tent and on hay bales. Ah the good ol' days.

You got to love the ingenuity of inventors and designers. Many of these tents appeal to me. The way things are going My wife and I may end up in one of these.

This is going on my list of what I want to do in my next life. Love them

Of course every time I go camping I like to bring a king sized wooden bed.

For the tent that goes on the roof of the car, it would be neat to have it cover over the sunroof with a zippered floor that opens,so you could drop down to safety if animals come and could heat up the tent with the car heater if it gets too cold.

Best tent I ever had was a Coleman I got with Marlboro Miles. Took 5 minutes to set up and had plenty of room for two people and stuff.

Awesome tents!! The Kamper tent which goes on a car is really cooled the shelter pod with it ... great idea

Imagine taking a tent like that to a festival. A load of drunken party people fall into it. They must cost a fortune.

We've had our Lotus Belle tent for almost a decade now. The quality of the canvas is superb, and it's just as soft now as it was when we got it. It has gone through 3 gales and was the only tent left standing in a storm that flooded and/or blew every other tent down. I love being able to stand upright as soon as you get inside the door. We have added a front fly that is great for keeping you dry when you exit the tent, and we just got a colourful cover to keep bird poo and tree sap from ruining the canvas when we go on bush camping trips instead of oceanside. Is it a cool tent? Very much so.

Love the modular tents and the ones with the flys with designs on it

The Flight. Yeah...I'm gonna wake up in the middle of the night to go pee and forget that I'm 4 feet off the ground...

Bubble tent, oh yes, portable, don't forget the 5 people to carry it, the generator to inflate it ,and the moving company to deliver the bed and the rest of your roughing for the night furniture.

I watched a video of a guy camping and setting up his tent. His furniture was designed for camping, and his table just unfolded from a suitcase, and snapped together, the bed was inflatable, and there was other stuff. Camping "furniture" has some really amazing stuff that's easy to set up.

Insects , Animals , Rain , Cold , Heat and even muddy trails are what makes it so darn much fun. I'll stay with my Jungle Hammock , a good rain fly ( tarp ) and the backpack. That combination lets me have solitude and go anywhere while enjoy every minute of it.

A couple of these I wouldn't have minded when we went to the field when I was in the Army.

What is the weight requirements for these tents especially for the tent that attaches to trees.

My Wife and I are 61 myself and she is 57...We need a little of the home comforts at our age and with our 14500 km trip doing all of northern and western Canada next year we decided on a 26 foot fifth wheel. We know the fuel cost will be outrageous but hey it is our road trip of a lifetime. These tents look lovely for the younger generation and setting up a tent is the last thing I want to worry about after driving half a day.

I love the tents which is light and small for mountaineering.

Man, car top tents provide NO protection from predators.. It's great for getting off of wet or rocky ground though. Great informative video on niche tents.

No need for the 2 story tent. The flight hammoc tent prevents wild animal attacks..?! .you just hitch it up a bit higher in the trees! Say, 12 to 15 feet should do, just dont forget when you go to pee in the middle of the night. Sleepwalkers may want to seek another option as well as those who roll alot during the night. The mesh is made of polyester, but it's not THAT strong!

I really just like the three room tent I have from many years back. It is comfortable, roomy & private! Thats all you need. I didn't see anything different about these tents except being on top of a vehicle 😳 and being in many different shapes & colors??? 😳 They also look very, very hard to put together by several peeps. I bet these cost a fortune?? Thanks anyway 👫🌻🏡🌼🌞🌷

The military has "Bubble Tents" too. they use them For hospital/Aid stations or command centers. Probably cost a bit more though.

Flight is pretty cool but I don't know any campgrounds or state parks that would allow you to use that . I personally use the Gazelle tx3 overland edition hub tent sets up in 46 seconds and is built like a little house, freaking love that tent
