Well, technically, Idiyappam in the south is eaten like the idli and dosa are eaten, that is sambhar poured on top of a small portion of Idli and Dosa are broken, and sambhar poured on top of it. Similarly, small portions of Idiyappam with curry. Is it the same in Sr-Lanka, not sure.
