Fun fact: In the 2000 Miss India competition Lara Dutta secured top spot, Priyanka Chopra took the second place and Diya Mirza was in 3rd place. All three went on to win international competition that year. Lara won Miss Universe, Priyanka won Miss World and Diya won Miss Asia Pacific.

In 2013 Philippines also got 3 crowns. Miss World, Miss International, Miss Supranational & Miss Tourism International. Eventhough Miss Supra & Miss TI is not part of the big 4

India will be considered as a new Asian Powerhouse if it will win it's first crown in Miss International. The pageant records that India currently holds are: 1 M. Earth crown (2010) 0 M. International crown 3 M. Universe crowns (1994, 2000, 2021) 6 M. World crowns (1966, 1994, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2017) Unless. If there will be an Indian woman to be crowned for the very first time as Miss International 2022
