Building the stick shelter by a pine gives the added benefit of lighting campfire any time of day at the base of the tree with no tell tale smoke plume.

Usually I carry the bare minimum to survive. I go to high tier loot try and get my self an Aug and Svd, a cool outfit and just explore looking for action on official servers.

Drill kits!! Thank you!! I always comment “wheres there drill kits” on videos like these, if you have a knife you have fire!

Hand wraps and a knife are the absolute first things I look for when I spawn. Also make sure your hand coverings are not ruined when cutting up animals. I’ve made the mistake of sliding down a ladder with hand wraps on and ruined them, I ran 4 km near death before I got tetra.

Hand drills and fireplaces out in the wilderness literally save my life every time

You can also sharpen small stones on boulders to make a stone knife. Hardest part is actually finding the small stone though lol. Trade it for a better knife later though as it has bad durability and breaks quick.

To get bones to make knife Step 1: find or kill any animal or survivor Step 2: skin and quarter using a knife… wait a minute? What if u don’t have knife. *jokes aside I think I know what u mean as u can get loads of bones from one animal and just make loads of knifes* 👍🏿

The only ones i didn't know was the leather backpack and the stick shelter, the shelter might have some use for me...

You need a knife or blade to cut an animal for the bones to make a bone knife.

They gut rope was a good tip rope is so important to my character. I usually spawn in look around town. Get sticks Make fire Make fishing pole Make knife Eat I die I do it again lol

So, I lived a nomadic lifestyle from 1984 to 2014, yeah, 30 years. The latter 20. I spent studying these very skills in real life. Over the last 10 years I've dealt deeply into video games, my latest addiction over the last few years is a heavily modded fallout 4, I have however, been looking at this game and escape from tarkov. The fact that this game at least incorporates these skills as part of the process of surviving, I find exceptionally intriguing.

You said bones can be got from a dea$ player or hicken but you forget one thing. You already need a k ife in order to get the bone# from those because u til you gut them and turn them into meat and guts and bones there is n[ way to access the bones. So as a way of getting a knife when you don't have one, it isn't a very good way. Unless ther÷ IS a way to access the bones I a dead body without using a k ife?!
