@@scottrhodes919 "once free" yea they were struggling for everything every single day, being hunted and living really sad, desparate lives. Nature doesn't just give you freedom. Any creature is free to do anything which means your life in the wild will be a struggle for survival
They're here to live. With us, they get a home, comfort and free food. In the wild they get discomfort and are constantly hunted. Want to keep ecosystems balanced? Do it yourself, lazy ass
@@meghanachauhan9380 The only reason they're in our homes is because of people that think like you. When did you get the right to decide what's best for animals that have been part of an environment for longer than you've been around? I know when. When you " learned" to think that humans are the be all for all others. No, you're not and because of people like you and your sense of entitlement is that these animals are in the situation that they're in now. "With us, they get a home, comfort and free food."...give me break. If we hadn't interfered in the first place they would be just fine. I may be a lazy ass, like your ignorant ass wrote but at least I'm not clueless to the damage dumb-asses like you have, are and will be doing until it's stopped by responsible governments and people.
I don’t think I’d want to spend the time it takes to have an exotic pet. But platypus are my favorite i don’t recall seeing a baby platypus out of water. They must be the most adorable animal.
That baby Platypus looks a lot like a baby echidna. I live in a beautiful part of Australia with plenty of wildlife. It's great to watch them in their own habitat instead of at a zoo.
I have most of these adorable creatures in a perfectly legal, stuffed/plush version. Very easy to take care of and has no upkeep costs. The biggest bonus is that no animal was yanked out of the natural habitat it belongs to find death due to my inability to provide proper care.
Speaking of the food required for a big cat, like the snow leopard, I worked as an Animal Care Volunteer at a zoo. One of my responsibilities was to feed the lions every afternoon. The female (lioness) got five (5) pounds of ground horse meat with her water and vitamins. The male lion ate ten (10) lbs. of ground horsemeat, every day. It came in a plastic tube with steel closures at the ends. Just like brains charger (liver sausage,) but MUCH larger! 😎
Parrots can live anywhere between 30 and 80 years. I never recommend getting a parrot. I have one that my parents got as a family pet in 1976 when I was 10 years old, and he just turned 45 yesterday. They live much longer than people have time for. They needs tons of attention, a specialized diet ( no seeds ), they are very loud and can bite hard enough to break a finger.
@@ericblair9756 A well taken care of parrot spends more time out of their cage than in. And a well cared for parrot rarely bite's their " person ". But it takes a special person/family to take on the massive responsibility of having one as a pet. They aren't like dogs and cats that live, most often, less than 20 years. They are a pet that your GRANDCHILDREN would have to want to take on.
@@amyfulton8323 How many parrots do you have? Because they're very social creatures in the wild... I doubt you have a flock of parrots and in the wild parrots spend 0% of their time in a cage You can't provide for these creatures the way the world can
My coworkers found some mice nests at work and we were told to throw them into the compactor😠 I told my boss off, and brought home the babies (13)! Fed them kitten formula with an eye dropper for a few weeks until they could eat solid food. A few weeks later I released them into the hayloft at my grandparents farm. Anyone can rescue animals and make a difference. At least to the lives you save!
The finger monkey one is a lie he's an idiot you can buy them online there are tons of breeders Texas and Florida I know you can buy them they're mostly sold in the lower states. This guy...has zero idea wat he talks about even. Most of these ya you can but some is a flat out lie.
If you love these animals, I highly suggested you find a zoo in your area that is working to preserve them. Make a donation to help them continue with that great work.
I wouldn't wanna own any of them or any other animals at all, just as we deserve our independence and freedoms so do they. It doesn't mean I don't like or love them any less makes me adore and admire them all the most. They sure are beautiful.
Some of these restrictions, at least with cheetahs, are of relatively recent origin. I can remember as a little kid in the 1970's seeing a guy with a cheetah on a leash in Manhattan. New York was a pretty messed up place back then so I don't know if it was illegal back then and people just let it slide.
I'm disappointed that they didn't mention that a bite from a slow loris is no joke. They have glands underneath their armpits that ooze noxious oil, and when they lick those glands, their saliva combines with the oil to concoct the venom. It fills into their grooved canines, which then deliver a grisly bite strong enough to pierce through bone.
If any of you want a snow leopard get a snow Bengal cat! They're white cats white leopard spots on them and a lot easier to care for they need a lot of attention and they have to stay fit but they're amazing creatures
Animals I want to have as “pet”: Blackbird, deer, red fox, iguana, hawk, flamingo, ants, muskos, giraffe. “Pet” is something I don’t mean to have as pet pet, since some of these animals I see as my pets since I have helped their population grow a little bit.
I met a woman walking a Cheetah back in the 80's, well when I say met I really mean she walked up to me without a word and said You have a gift, you see things before they happen, before she walked away without another word. Very peculiar encounter in every way possible. And I did not see that coming. lol
I agree! Platypuses are SO cute, however, regardless of where you live on this planet, platypuses must live in their natural habitat, unless they live in zoos, and every zoo that has platypuses is located in eastern Australia (except for the San Diego Zoo in San Diego, California, United States of America)!
We need to stop domesticating wild animals, just leave them in the wild where they belong! *they are all so cute tho eeeee!!! But I wouldn’t get one as a pet* don’t we have enough pets already? (Great video tho, they where all so cute!)
@@thewanderingmistnull2451 Correct! Just like if we euthanized the stupidest people before they had a chance to breed and did that for hundreds of years we'd have no more Trumpists. Do you know your IQ?
@@thewanderingmistnull2451 most were not bred as pets to begin with thousands of years ago they were used for hunting or to perform a service (rat catching etc.) they became domesticated over long periods of time, people now think they can get a wild animal and just because it is young wala they can make it into a pet. Most times the animal ends up suffering for this, most exotic animals can be very expensive need special diets and specific habitats, which most people don’t provide for them.
IKR? David Attenborough on the other hand would make sure to point it out - "and here we have the magnificent Snow Leopards procreating to keep the species going. Aren't they just magnificent?" 🤣
@@antoniacruz1996 Oh honey, you need to toughen up - it's normal, and animals do it all the time, and their species would die out if they didn't. It's just a normal part of life, so don't look at it as something to ruin your childhood!
So since early times certain animals we kept as pets and continue to do so in the present day, doesn't mean it makes it okay. Wild animals to be taken out of the wild and kept in situations that are not amiable to their well-being.. let's not deflect from a very important issue which is millions of wild animals and again abducted, most of them end up dying or living in situations against their will! Mustbe stopped!
They’re all adorable but I hate to think of taking animals out of their own habitat and away from their families. So many animals know their being basically kidnapped and they grieve just like humans. Elephants, rhino’s, whales all go through great distress and elephants have a memory of everything that happens to them their entire lives. If you haven’t seen it watch Blackfish!
All....all of them disappoint me. Not because i want them, but because i could never give them what they require to be healthy and happy. So i will continue to admire them from afar.💞
Red Panda - 'There aint no thing like me, but me!'. How anyone could remove any of these beautiful individuals from their parents, communities and habitats for any reason other than their acute protection or benefit is beyond me. If someone claims they love animals so much then they should be guided by what is best for the animal, not themselves.
The thumbnail for "10 cutest animals you can have as pets" is fake too. It's definitely NOT a pygmy marmoset, as they say. It looks like one of the felted, ringtail lemur babies I've seen sold on Etsy. I've seen a lot of marmosets and raised one (penicillata) and that picture is definitely not a pygmy marmoset or "finger monkey".
ANIMAL SHELTERS ARE IN TROUBLE.. WHAT INCOME... LIVING WITH THE DOGS ANIT CHEAP.. WE NEED FOOD BLANKETS AND MEDICINE. AND HOMES ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-A9rH3zuiRfg.html
Pygmy jerboa i was on a job in kansas i swear i seen one of those i remember it i said to my brother look at that weird mouse he dint said he dint think it was a mouse but i now know what it is i hope theres more of them
Him : you'll have a better chance of adopting a raccoon Him in a different video: raccoons are one of the most dangerous animals in the world that u should not keep as pets
Oh my!!! I love them all!!! Soooooo cute!!!!! This cuteness should be illegal but, glad it's not!!!! Telling me I can't have these animals- I want them all as pets!!!
None are disappointing! People are the reasons they have problems staying safe & alive! We have taken their habitats and food supply with our buildings and "I want that" attitude! We interpret from studies, but no human can ever truly understand what they need and/want! If you really love these animals, let them live their lives the way they know how! Your beautiful home with a view or "aww, that is so cute I want it" should not cost the world an entire species!
good luck ever even SEEING a platypus. I've seen 2 in the wild in my whole 5 decades living in Australia, and i've lived in the country and travelled a lot.
