Dude it’s crazy to see you gain 20+ lbs of muscle since this video. I’m new to your channel and I’ve been binge watching your videos for the past week. Mad respect. You’ve got a new lifetime subscriber.
Probably one of the best weight loss videos I’ve ever seen. You covered so much and made it entertaining! Funny enough I started my cut 11 days ago and I’ve lost 6lbs as well. Keep up with the amazing content!
Man I need to thank you I love your videos and I have lost 35lbs in the past 5 months even through quarantine. I started watching all your videos and stuck to calories in calories out. You also introduced me to Coach Gregg with the video you did eating his recipes for 24hours and his videos have also helped so much. I’ve tried fab diets and so many other things never works. But now I went from 245lbs in feb to 214 currently. I want 15 more down want to hit 200. Keep it up you’re gonna make it big with these videos always great informative content while keeping it very entertaining 👏🏼
I really like the fact your before and after shots are done using the same lighting same poses ect, alot of youtubers pick the most unflattering and the most faltering conditions for the shots respectfully. You do things the correct way for your viewers, lots of respect for that dude.
I’ve been estimating my calories blindly, working my ass off for 3 months and not able to see physical results in the mirror or on the scale. I’m finally buying a scale to find out my real maintenance calories and doing things correctly and accurately this time. This video just gave me more motivation
Serèn van der Roest thanks for asking. I’m still struggling actually. I was 5”, 115 so maintenance is around 1400 so I eat 1000. I’ve only gone down to 112 but on my “break” days where I eat at maintenance it goes back to around 114 so I don’t know if I’ve actually gone down. I’ve kinda been stuck at a plateau right now. I’ve only done cardio which I guess is the problem. I don’t have access to weights or the gym, so now I’m trying to focus on body weight exercises and the only form of cardio I’ll do are walks in the morning. I also increased my calories to 1200. I’m not a nutritionist and I don’t have that much experience but I’m trying to use what I’ve learned from watching RU-vid
Racheal Kay yeah I guess ur right. If u do the math I lost about .7 lbs a week which isn’t bad. I probably ate 1100-1200 kcal. I realized that maybe I was impatient with the results bc I haven’t actually seen physical change. I also have lower belly fat which I heard was very hard to get rid of and that gaining muscle is a better way to get rid of it. I just wish I had someone more knowledgeable about this stuff. I watch a lot of people like Natasha oceane, Greg doucette and will obviously and I know the facts but sometimes I doubt them. Now I don’t know whether I should create a new plan or just keep doing the old one
@@katiehuynh03 if you're losing .7lbs per week comfortably then ride it out for the long term, going under 1k cal doesn't seem like it's in anyone's best interest. As always im a random person on the internet so take what I say with a grain of salt, and good luck :)
Will, your channel is amazing and you’ve given me so many recipes to try out. Over the last 3 months I’ve lost 30 pounds and I owe a lot of that to your grounded and relatable advice. For the first time in my life this actually feels sustainable. Keep up the awesome work!
hey Will prolly won’t see this but man you’ve really helped me through this a lot. I used to be pretty chunky kid and got skinny fat during like 9-10th grade but I quit sports and got a girlfriend and gained a lot. my heaviest was 222. Ive been watching your videos, learning and taking notes the whole way and I’m at 210 now after starting 2 weeks ago. you’re a huge inspiration dude and keep making these videos, they’re really helping me and I bet helping others as well.
A little pro tip for zesting lemons: try to avoid zesting too aggressively, the good stuff is the yellow rind once you start zesting that white pith it will make whatever recipe youre making bitter. I understand if thats difficult for someone as swole as Will but i figured id throw it out there.
UXSpecialist I’m sure it was very good and that he enjoyed it and I would too but I don’t see anything wrong with making improvements where possible, I didn’t mean to come off as critical I was just making a suggestion based off my knowledge in the kitchen
@@anthonylongobardo2623 it looked like he turned the lemon after about 2-3 grates on a side. I wouldn't say that's too aggressively. I think he knows about the pith too. But thanks for your comments, maybe some people in chat don't know about it as much as you and Will do....
This is sick, I actually did this kind of mini-cut almost exactly in your time period just for 14 days, I got 2 days left, today (friday) and saturday, Ive already knew and executed almost all your tips on my diet and It's amazing how fast the body reacts and how much leaner I got. I suggest you guys that want to succeed listen to Will because this is absolutely golden advice. Have a nice day Will :) The only downside I had is that I had the gyms close on me during this cut so no heavy stimulation halfway thru but I kept it going with High intensity home workouts to preserve the muscle, which is very important during a cut when the body tends to shred down the muscle if it is not heavily stimulated.
Will, the macro fasting is such a great idea. I was just thinking to myself this week how I want to get in more protein and a little bit less of carbs and fat that I have been taking in, but I didn't want to carb cycle or cut them down completely. I, too, stopped intermittent fasting because I find I have better workouts also, which is important to me even though I am mainly focused on losing weight. This idea is too perfect! Thank you!
Yeh I got that sloooow metabolism im 6'3 200 lbs and I eat like 1800 calories a day and still don't lose weight and I walk 20000 steps a day and lift 3 times a week
Lucas Trakinat Aye I feel that. I’m 6’3 205 and I’m eating 1500-1800 a day. I’ve lost like 50 pounds but I swear I don’t see a difference. I still have a belly and love handles. It pisses me off man. I’m trying to get down to 170. If I get down that far and still have bith then I don’t know what to do.
Zack McPherson i think a good target weight for you would be in the 190-195 range to look lean. 170 is much too extreme, and you risk a large amount of muscle loss. You’d have to have really unfortunate genetics if you still have love handles at 190lb at that height.
You and Dr Coach Greg are my daily inspiration. I have one arm and without certain gym equipment and over eating calorie heavy food I fell way off. You guys give great advice for reducing calories and making good decisions. I commented harder than last time
this video came out at the perfect time for me.. I'm struggling to drop weight and have plateaued in weight loss for a week now. was getting down on myself and binge ate this weekend. after watching this it has given me the tools and knowledge to keep pressing forward to reach my goals. thanks for the motivation Will. those crapes look too legit bud. great recipes as well
Hi Will! Could you please do high protein vegan recipes for those of us who are vegan. Maybe just a full day of eating high protein vegan food? Thanks for posting these informative videos Bro!
Shout out to Katie for supporting Will & to all of those who have supportive partners. I admire her ability to be cool as a cucumber during the vids - she DGAF!
You and Greg Doucette have helped me so much on my weight loss/fitness journey!!! I'm down 10lbs, 2 inches around my waist and I only have 5lb left to lose :) I feel great, I don't feel restricted at all, and I look better too haha
I eat this low calorie high protein asian salad dressing on the DAILY... Try it and thank me later: low fat soy or regular yogurt, powdered PB, soy sauce, apple cider/rice/white wine vinegar, nutritional yeast, garlic powder & ginger powder, a few drops of sesame oil. Trust me it is BANGING with a drizzle of sriracha. Edit:full recipe below in commenrs.
@@deweythedog3315 I usually just eyeball it. But typically my recipe will be 200g soy yogurt (could sub with any thinner, not Greek yogurt), 2tbsp soy sauce, 3tbsp apple cider or rice or white wine vinegar, 15g powdered pb, 5g nutritional yeast (optional), 1tsp garlic powder, 1tsp ginger powder, 0.5-1tsp toasted sesame oil (optional). Combine all and stir, couldnt be simpler! If it is too thick still, I'll add a bit more vinegar, but you could use water! This should make 1 to 3 servings depending on how big your salad is. I aim for the consistency of ranch and thoroughly stir it all in to a huge bowl of leaves, red cabbage, tuna, cucumber, grated carrots, red pepper, and drizzle it all with sriracha. Literally eat this for lunch 5 times a week or more lol.
Me: *sees the crepe maker* "oh it's like a waffle iron that you pour the batter into" Will: *dips entire thing in a plate of batter* Me: *visible confusion*
i am thankful for finding your channel. I used to be fluffy went down to 208. During covid my job and everything else turned into a more sedentary life and curfew kind of screwed up gym hours got back to 235. After two weeks being back on the game I'm finding myself at 228 or around that weight. For now I'm training 6 times a week, trying to be more active and I focused my training on two things for the mental change which are an effective way of training but not so taxing that its a mental challenge to build up consistency. It has gone very smooth I don't feel tired like i used to and i am actually looking forward to go to the gym now. Thanks to you I found myself a jug of that yogurt, I have never enjoyed yogurt on its own, but my god how good it is when you use the right ingredients. I never thought yogurt could be healthy and taste like ranch, Delicious! During these weeks I am going to adjust to consume the more protein because i feel that is the least amount of macro that i eat of the 3. Going to use some of your ideas, thank you !
Crepes: 1 scoop protein powder 2 tablespoons of cashew milk 2 eggs Filling: 8 ounces ricotta cheese 2-4 tbspoons milk of choice 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 tbs sweetener Zest of 1 lemon Top with berries that were laid in sweetener for more juice Easy snack: Dip apple in jello
Perfect timing! I am currently on my 8 week of cutting, and I‘ve seen great results so far. Defenitely I am going to implement some of your tips. Thanks bro 🔥
Def agree with the walking for fat loss! HIIT training and crazy intense cardio actually ramps up your appetite and works against you which makes dieting harder!!! And long medium paced runs tend to burn muscle as well as just fat. Overall, walking is easy, burns hella cals, and is def the way to go!
That crepe maker was the most mindblowing thing I’ve seen this entire year lol, I thought you were gonna fill it and it was gonna puff up like a waffle or something like that
@@ecstasyecs Yea I see a lot of youtubers do that and would like to think they're not all on some kind of substance. I wonder if they do it to try and fit it all in 10 or 20 minutes, though not aware they're talking like it's x3.0 speed.
@@mysterygirl30011 They're not all on substances. They're just trying to fit as much into one take as they can without stuttering or missing words. If they can get everything in one take it makes the editing process easier.
Im a big fella, 254lbs, been IF (20:4) for a little over a month now and dropped 20lbs. Between your content and Remi, I am finding it a lot easier to stay focused and stay on track with meals/motivation. I work out mainly when I am at work (we thankfully have a gym in our office) and am really working on shredding my chest flab and building my shoulders/back strength up. After 5 years of just being an absolute savage in the worst ways to my body, I have a steep climb ahead of me. I have 91 days left of my current 18wk crash course, and I am aiming to get down to 215 in those 3 months. Thank you for the content. I am usually pretty immobile during my days off from work, maybe some curls here or some presses there, but I am going to be busting the bike out and getting some time in at the local high schools track.
Will, for your next video I challenge you to do a workout change using Vr (A headset such as an oculus quest, or valve index) They have some games on there that are made to exercise and make it incredibly fun!
This is definitely one of Will’s better videos (not that the rest are any less) he made the whole process to lose weight simple as opposed to how complicated the notion to lose fat really is. Even though this was a more serious video he still managed to squeeze some jokes in there which was nice. Anyway I appreciate how you show that there’s no wrong way to do things :)
6:45 thanks for teaching me about this. I used to think walking for exercise was super inefficient at burning calories until i saw your video where you lost a shit ton of weight in a week just by doubling the amount you walked every day. That inspired me to walk as my main form of cardio and I'm losing weight on my diet so easily. And I dont feel super hungry after walking like what happens when I do an hour of elliptical or stairmaster. But I think its worth mentioning that if you walk up inclines, you burn a hell of a lot more calories than walking on a flat plane and its not much more difficult
I too have had this same result. I hit a plateau in my weight loss and ever since I started walking 45mins on the treadmill at 3 speed & incline on 10 for 3-5 days a week, I sweat like crazy and have lost 5lbs in a week. Its VERY underrated.
This is a very underrated channel on the fitness mindset lifestyle! I've been following since the beginning and its a good mix of education and entertainment!
I love the way you talk to us and how you address things. I've been watching your videos straight this week and now I'm walking and watching your videos together. Thanks a lot for the advice and the company bro
Damn I needed this now. Started 3 months ago and am down 10 kgs and 30 cm around the waist. Yet some days it feels like nothing happens. Have to trust the process ❤️ Thanks Will 🙏
Thanks a lot for the idea of macro fasting, so easier than regular fasting and it feels healthier to my body. Perfect to manage big family dinners ! Also : very good video quality, with good music, you're the one I look at when I search motivation and when I want to relax : thanks !
It’s what I do. If I front load my protein, I don’t stress over dinner with kids and husband. I just eat what they eat! Makes things a LOT easier around here. 💗
I was literally sitting on my couch, contemplating have a Nutella sandwich even tho I ate my calories and I’m on a diet, but Will’s words about pushing through hunger and seeing your goals to get through the hard parts really helped. Thanks Will! Keep up the great videos 👍
I'm pretty new to the channel, I subbed about a month ago and I have a question, what kind of dog is Ollie? I haven't seen a dog like that before, he reminds me of those little dudes from start wars he's pretty cool
This dude is one of my brothers. Bro you and your transparency is amazing you coach Greg and Remington James has changed my life I am getting into personal training and started a RU-vid channel
These ones with ollie are awesome. Everyone loves a cat or a dog. or both. And if you can make them a character and embrace it. Laugh at your self throughout. Spot on. I drive home and feel the crazy people that are too serious. Just chill
