Exactly no point using big logs when smaller will do . Try caulking the logs with clay or mud before leaf litter will help keep it more water resistant. But good on for doing it.

And some big animal steps in it while you sleep and you are a toast.

I appreciate your comment very much , I'm a hunter by life , since I remember myself hunting was N1 for me and it will be forever , but not a single time I enjoyed the process of killing something , I have fasted without meat and I just can't do it , I can't live without taking meat and I understand that something has to die for me to eat meat , I'd rather take an animal that enjoyed its whole life in the wild ,free , rather then some poor animal that is born and raised in a cage just to be killed , its very sad.... One more meat I harvest is one less in the cage for me. Have a nice day Nick
