Por los videos que he visto este concierto debió como un homenaje a la historia de la Sant Andreu Jazz Band, con la participación de muchas de sus antiguas figuras (antiguas, que no viejas): Andrea Motis, Eva Fernández, Marc Martin, Rita Payés, Elia Bastida, Carla Motis, Marçal Perramón, Joan Martí, Magalí Datzira, Irene Reig, Jaume Ferrer y a saber cuantas más que todavía no he visto en las grabaciones. Y junto a ellos toda la chavalería de la orquesta actual, con el uniforme de rigor (la camiseta de la banda). Me sorprende que todavía pertenezcan a ella, camiseta "dixit", las dos Albas, Armengóu y Esteban, creo que ya con edad, categoría y caché más que de sobra para haber dejado vía libre a los más jóvenes.
I really like the arrangement, especially the ending with the tempo change. As others have commented, Magali's bass playing is really excellent. It would be great to see her doing a solo.
Recording from a phone just hints at this but the winner is again................Magali, just like the first time. The home sax team is definitely much improved compared to a few years ago Ignasi and Esteve are still phenomenal but Magali still wins. I just hope we get a professionally recorded version to demonstrate!
