Challenge Rating is the simple metric by which you can easily judge how tough an encounter will be for a party. For example, a Challenge Rating of 5 creature is considered a normal encounter for a party of four level 5 adventurers. In this video we'll go over monsters that are much deadlier than their Challenge Rating suggests and can pose significant challenges for players.
