Arkham Harley is truly her most evil itteration. Ignoring your conscience is the most evil thing any person can do, some people can be manipulated or just be unaware about doing horrible acts. But Harley understands that she is doing wrong, yet she still goes through with it. That is evil because she chooses to do evil. No Joker to manipulate her.

Riddler may be annoying in Arkham, but he’s still such an awesome character. The fact that he knows that Strange has a Batman costume behind a secret panel that no one else could possibly know about proves his genius even more. He knows that knowledge is power and uses that to gain leverage on others

I don’t mind Professor Pyg, but for the Dollmaker, I draw the line there. He is the only villain in Batman’s Rogues gallery that I absolutely don’t like.
@@Ayobruhyo It’s because Dollmaker does stuff to kids. If a dang criminal does something to children,that’s where I draw the line. That’s why I don’t like him. When something bad happens to children, I’m like nope, this guy needs to take 10 ft away from kids

Honestly the harley thing is what makes me convinced that SSKTJL is NOT cannon to the arkham games we know and love, like if she was actually rehabilitated, I'm pretty sure she'd become sane.
Calendar Man creeps me out for the very reason you mentioned. His crimes are realistic. While releasing a Fear Toxin on a city is scary, realistically, it probably won’t happen. However, stalking a woman then smothering her could and has happened. That scares the hell out of me.
I mean I feel bad that riddler was abused but he was a huge pain in the ass in all the games and just plain annoying and the time spent finding and solving riddles in AK specifically made those final blows so satisfying but yeah I do feel bad in a way
Considering Arkham Origins takes place on Christmas Eve and Jonathan crane last visited the 22nd of December in more than likely is just symbolic that he entered the world of pure Anarchy and lunacy and never left with the real reason that he never checked out likely being he simply forgot or the developers just didn't have a time put on the paper

I just had a thought while watching the scarecrow segment, you made a short a while ago about a conversation in origins where some thugs discussed about how homeless people are disappearing, what if that's related to the scarecrow pamphlet and those people just died from the fear toxin, i mean we saw what happened to the test subjects on stagg's airships in knight, the same could have easily happened here!
There’s also a story where homeless disappear, Batman: The Cult. So idk, it could also be connected to Deacon Blackfire as a lot became cult followers, intoxicated by him and hallucinate to make him look like this supernatural being chosen by God.
When I let my cousin play all 4 arkham games I had to translate everything to him from begging to end since he speaks only Spanish and when we got to Pyg I said less violent things until he demanded me to actually tell him the grousome details since he likes violent movies

hey gothampaladin, also for the next part you could mention joker's horryifing experiments with TITAN on arkham asylum. for example, during the main story, when you enter the abandoned chamber for the first time, you can hear joker making his experiments with his henchmen, and one deformed titan thug falls into the abandoned chamber.
In Arkham Knight. The reason why Batman is so hellbent of keeping Oracle, Nightwing & Robin away from him and Gotham is due to the fact that he will start to slowly become Joker. If he cant find a cure the one closest to him will be first when Joker takes over. this fear is shown in Arkham Vr where SPOILERS: The whole game is a nightmare of Bruce’s where he has killed both Robin and Nightwing due to Jokers influence.

It's important to remember that killer croc is ACTUALLY a human. He was born a human from a human family. He just had a goofy condition that made him look like a reptile. So if you think about it, they treated a human like an actual animal/guinea pig. At least the other humans were treated like regular humans, granted still poorly but they were treated poorly for human standards. Croc is a human who is treated poorly for animal standards. Strapped down, put in a cage etc
All Batman villains had a reason for being a psycho (well, not all) but most do, and it's usually because of depression and tragedy that drives 'em crazy

Here's a creepy detail in Arkham Knight: If you really pay attention then you may see some faces seen in the scenery of the city change into the face of the Joker, this includes those stone busts as well as the faces seen on billboards, but if you look away & look back, the faces change back to normal. A rather very creepy detail that I never noticed until I started paying attention to the scenery when hunting for Riddler challenges
I noticed this when I first played and I thought I was going nuts. I was gliding through Gotham and saw a Joker face on a billboard and was like "wtf?", then when I turned it wasn't there and I actually thought I was hallucinating. Good times.
i like to imagine arkham batman contacted someone with more power (kinda like how you mentioned star labs) to fix them cause I think if this version of him knows characters like superman , flash , dr fate etc even though its not usually in batmans character to reach out like that id imagine he would simply because that's the only way to save them without them getting executed
I feel bad for Bruce because he wants to work alone for that exact reason Jason ends up dying or getting tortured and Babs ends up in a wheelchair but Tim and everyone tells him that he can’t do it alone but he wants to because he doesn’t want his friends/family hurt or dead and he’s obviously traumatized like mentioned in the video he doesn’t even have enough time to acknowledge it in his mind fully it just appears when he’s hallucinating so he’s not even dealing with it or doesn’t have time he’s really a tragic character

See, how Harley is in all the Arkham games makes the Suicide Squad game really not fit in the universe, like we're just expected to believe that Harley is suddenly over Joker and all the years of trauma? Same kinda thing with Deadshot, "oh the guy Batman has fought since the beginning was just some faker who was also named Floyd Lawton, a master marksman, and the real one was locked away" Like no that game doesn't fit in the Arkham cannon for me.
"my father would accuse me of cheating, of course i cheated but that's beside the point" and his obsession with batman failing to the point where he cheats and get's angry when batman pulls through i believe dollotrons were sent somewhere they could be given care but nothing could be done for them so they would be put out of their misery not because i want it to be edgy and gritty but because there doesn't seem any way to fix them

The thing with Quinn is that she was a nice person until she fell inlove with the Joker, which is a very dangerous game. Who know's what she had to do to prove 'her worth' too him. That alone would drive anyone insane and she spent years maybe even decades with the mad clown
I think in the Suicide Squad game, when Harley gets hit with Batman's fear toxin and starts hearing Harleen, doesnt she say its been a while since she last heard her? I may be misremembering
Best case scenario on the Dollotrons is that Pyg told the G.C.P.D. all that he did to those people, and the poor souls were stitched back together, piece by piece. It would never undo the trauma, but their bodies could be salvaged. I wouldn't count on it. Pyg is truly horrible.
The dollotrons were likely put in a home, as sometimes happens for the disabled who need people to take care of them, I can't imagine them being put down when more humane options exist. also, I interpret Crane's visits and studies as less malevolent. he was a psychiatrist after all, he was likely looking for a way to help people through medicine, but became obsessed in his work on fear and succumbed to the call of evil
Actually the Harley Quinn part makes so much sense in SSKTJL why she’s different because she’s Harleen and not Harley which would explain that stupid change they did to her and would be a nice call back
another side fact about that dollmaker, the joker asked him to cut off his face, and indirectly led to death of the family and endgame (and even more indirectly dark nights metal but less about that)
The Barton version of Dollmaker was in Arrow. He was a psycho who used women as dolls. He’d pour plaster down their throats to suffocate them and dress them up as dolls. So glad White Canary killed him.
A further prove that scarcrow tests on his victims is in Batman Arkham Knight, where one of the rioters said that he was one of scarcrows victims and that he was glad that scarcrow was defeated by batman.
Calendar Man might be the most messed up character in Arkham once you look into the lore, even worse than Joker. One of my least favorite tales about him is from his Riddler mini story in Knight, showing parts of his journal. There's a short excerpt that mentions he has a "scurvy victim" who "isn't ready yet," and all he says next is, "Maybe next year." Like??? It's so vague yet disturbs the hell out of me. Is he just keeping someone trapped somewhere that he keeps inflicting diseases on?? I hate that one lol.
In comics, the dollotrons die, if their masks fall off. And what we can see on Scarlett (Red Hoods sidekick), the masks wear off, after some time. Maybe all the masks of the Arkham dollotrons just fell off and they died.
