Sherry, you batted 1000 on this week’s projects! I say leave the mirrors in the jewelry box as it gives it depth. And how are we supposed to pick a favorite?! My goodness, they are all excellent and exceptionally inspiring. You will have to work super hard this week to top this collection.
LOVED the vintaged, mirrored terrarium! And I think the mirrors show off the floral insert better. Great video as always - couldn’t wait for it to be posted and wasn’t disappointed!!
Your knack for combining random items just amazes me, and it is so fun to watch. I loved them all. I wonder if the "frankenplanter" base could be a small wine rack?
ALL of the projects are AMAZING, but I LOVE what you did with the jewelry box!! Please leave the mirrors IN; it adds a dimension that you couldn't get without them! ❤❤❤ I really like the cutting boards/bowls, too! And your bird lamp is precious!!
Omg... I had what I call a "duh" moment when you broke the glass base away from the flowers in a plastic bag. I have beautiful tulips I can now rescue from that horrible yellowed acrylic water! Thanks, Sherry!! 🌷 🌷 🌷
Your imagination with these thrift flips always amaze me. The cutting boards & orb were my favorites. Thank you Ms. Sherry for sharing you brilliant ideas with us.
Hello! I did post today’s DIY projects to my online store, but I haven’t had much time to add any new vintage decor. Hopefully, I will get those added soon. Hope your week is off to a great start!
Your flower pot base originally is a kitchen counter piece that serves as either and or wine bottle holder / recipe book holder.... I have one similar, however it is bot the exact one. Mine was originally from a store we once had here called, Gardeners Village.
I was going to pick my favorite as you went along, so I thought nothing would be better than the jewelry box terrarium, then you did the picture frame on the silver tray, and then you did the bird frame with the WM tissue, and on and on. Your ideas and ability to put different things together just amazes me, Sheri. I think I will go back to my original way to pick a favorite…I’ll just watch the video twice. Thanks for sharing this wonderful video! Enjoyed!
Your constant creativity is always such a treat to watch. It's so inspiring using cheap, unremarkable, everyday items and creating something totally different and very upscaled!! BEAUTIFUL as usual. And ...as usual, it's very difficult to pick a favourite!
@@CanterburyCottage I was nervous watching you cut that bowl down. I had a spindle pop out of my hand , I didnt get hurt but it scared me off for awhile😊
Thank you, Elizabeth! I really liked the cutting board project, too. I wasn’t sure if it was going to look the way I imagined, but I’m keeping the sanded one.
I loved both the tissue paper art and the decorative orb. They tied for my favorite. All of your pieces are so beautiful but some of them really appeal to my senses.
Wow! I truly enjoy seeing your creativity each week! I’m not quite sure how you do it but it never ceases to amaze me. I think my favorite had to be the orb thing you made! It was incredible. I don’t know how you think of putting these random pieces together but it’s fantastic 😊
Oh, thank you so much! I really think that it helps that I can see many of my supplies and thrift store finds in my craft room. Seeing things helps me come up with ideas.
Loved the fluffy sheep with the red bird and his little nest! Was sad to see that he was snapped up. Will have to keep my eyes open to make my own. My 91 year old aunt died earlier this month, sharp and interested in life till the end, and she was very crafty and loved to watch her son drag race on You Tube. Typing that made me smile. Watching made me a little tearful (in a good way) thinking of her and her pleasure in being creative.
Sherry, I recently purchased 2 small wooden bowls at a garage sale for $1.00. I asked myself, "how would Sherry repurpose these?" Well after seeing today's video, I know how I will reuse them. Beautiful items that inspire me as always. Thank you..
The idea to combine a ❤wood bowl with a cutting board ❤looks like you bought it that way! Even though I love that 1 the spindle you made out of 3 different pieces looks so 💰expensive 💰💖 AWESOMENESS!!!
I just love your remakes. Their so original and fun. I could watch you all day. Now I have to wait all week for another Sherry cool video! Thank you Sherry we love you!
The tissue paper frame with the IOD transfers was so pretty! I loved the obelisk item when it was white with a little distressing (before the antiquing wax). It looked so elegant to me! ❤
I loved the cutting board with 1/2 bowls and the 3 piece orb. I'm always looking forward to Tuesday now so I can watch your beautiful work. I often see some thing around my house and think, what would Sherry do with this. Thanks again for sharing your talents with us.
Thank you, Vickie! I really appreciate that you always leave me a comment! It shows RU-vid that you like the video, so they are more likely to show it to other viewers! 😊 BTW The lamp was my favorite project this week, too!
I can't choose!! They are allllllllllllllllllllllllllll so very amazing and gorgeous!!!!!!!!!! I loved everything you did and once again, you thought of things that no one else ever would have! You rock!!!!!
The jewelry box turned planter was my favorite! I see those jewelry boxes occasionally so next time I will definitely buy it. The mossy sheep was ingenious and hilarious 😂
ALL of your upcycle projects are so gorgeous and I can't pick a favorite. I always enjoy your videos and learn much each time I view one. You have so much talent!!!
The mossy sheep was my absolute favourite! You really multiplied it’s cute factor!❤ Everything else was so lovely - I would have a hard time picking between them 😊
I absolutely love the terrarium & will go thrifting to get that same effect as it would look so good in my guest room... if I'm able to get it out of my own bedroom. lol.
The jewelry box transformation was one of my favorites and leaving the mirrors in, makes it look more illuminating with the light bouncing off of the mirrors.
My favorite was “freeing” the flowers & placing some in the silver pitcher with the rub on transfers. I hadn’t thought about using the transfers on silver!
I am so glad you included the faux flowers inserted in acrylic in a vase and what you do to salvage the flowers. I have seen so many of these with beautiful flowers but in yellowed acrylic and, for some reason, never thought of breaking the vase. I will be saving these flowers for use in the future. Thanks for the great ideas.
As always, loved the video and seizing all of your creative ideas. That jewelry box turned into a terrarium was my favorite ❤ and the cutting boards! And the…I loved them all😂luv, T
