Glad you had a lot of fun. We didn't as you never show the bloopers. You always do this. What is the point of explaining them and not just show them to us. Or at the least provide a link to them.
@@Peregrine57 - and as we all know, mostly dead is slightly alive. With all dead there’s only one thing you can do - go through their clothes and look for loose change. 😆
@@mariendanzig I think she's dead,in my opinion seeing the clara that died was the clara that went to galifrey the long way around. because she's returned to that exact moment in time, the doctor sees clara's death freeze's time to before that and eventually clara returns to that point to die
@@jellybabiesarecool4657 It's basically a placeholder that was used for when Martha fast-forwarded the Doctor's recording in Human Nature. So lile the other 2 at the beginning of this video, a kind of 'intentional' blooper
It's such a shame there aren't more bloopers released from the later episodes! This was thoroughly enjoyable, seen some, not seen others but a lovely cheerful compilation thank you 😊
a funny blooper i can think of is from School Reunion when they got out of Sarah Jane's car but the doctor came across one arch nemesis known as the child lock, guess even the sonic screwdriver wouldn't get him out of this one
I did not realize that they filmed a time of angels first just so Alex could help them adapt. I've said multiple times that what I disliked most about the 13th doctor was the pacing of the episodes. You can see it when Jack helps 13 escape from prison, the pacing becomes more like series 1 & 3 when he was part of the show. Having one actor lead the others is a great idea that I think helped Matt Smith set a tone that kept episode pacing very similar to series 1-4 at least enough so it was not jarring, like watching a completely different show.
@@petermcalpine1643 It's almost unfair, the exclusive club of being a sci-fi fan. For some reason, a lot of actors and directors who are not familiar with a show will refuse to get acquainted with it, stating it contaminates their acting style. Like Michael Gambon as Dumbledore. But the result is always the same, years of ridicule for the slightest inconsistency. Furthermore, David Tennant and Peter Capaldi have proven being a fan of Doctor who makes you a much better doctor, so why actresses like Whitaker continue bragging that they aren't fans and refused to even watch it before they accepted the role confuse me to no end.
And I thought Capaldi was the Swearing Scottman as Malcolm Tucker...I was mistaken!!! Also, many moments of McCoy should be on this list, but #1 should not change!!!!
I'm sure all these bloopers were way more entertaining than the presenter telling them and acting them out was. Wish we could see the actual bloopers instead of 1 second clips.
Maybe the Angels are full of forests. Makes you think. Bloopers at the end, always welcome. Liked before I even watched the video. So either that's a record, or my clicky finger twitched. You decide.
@@mrgcav I'm reminded of the old saying: Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, even when it's wrong. I'm certain Ellie doesn't need me to defend her. But that doesn't mean I'm not gonna do it. You know she also wrote this one , right? So except for editting (Meegs on the spot), this was her project from beginning to end. So saying she "ruined" it, along with the familiarity with which you used her name, I'm led to believe you simply don't like her work. And given that it was obvious from the moment the video started that she was to be presenting, why did you continue to watch? You could have clicked away at any time. Given the evidence, I'm led to conclude that you felt the need for attention. You've got it. And may I suggest to you that you make your own comment, and not hide under mine. Or to put it another way, from my heart and if you'll excuse the vulgarity, you may kiss my ass. Have a good day.
Probably a video length and or copyright issue, leaving to much in could lead to companies going after them for copyright abuse And leaving it in could have made the video several minutes longer which is usually bad for the performance as people tend to lose interest and click off if a video is to long, or maybe even not start watching it in the first place when they see the timestamp.
I dont think anyone who is familiar with the national treasure that is Bradley Walsh would be at all surprised that he was a notorious corpser. He gets the giggle at quite literally anything.
I urge all who haven't seen 7's outburst from Survival to immediately watch it in its entirety. A thoroughly deserved number 1 choice ❤️ What's missing for me is Peter Davison saying "shit" and collapsing 😂
0:51 Bohemian Rhapsycodax 1:11 Free cyber birds 1:30 Shakespeare’s phone call 2:42 the Angel in full of forests 3:44 No fire only YAHOOOOO 4:54 Dotty face 6:11 merry christmas 7:09 pfffffph 😂😂 8:04 Bad dalek 9:02 Clara forgets to die 10:02 kneed in the what? 11:14 STAY STILL!
This isn’t a blooper, but a bts story where Jenna was talking about how Peter went to go get a snack down the road, and when he came back he was soaking wet, cause he somehow found a pond and fell in it eventually go there wasn’t a pond on the way to the place he got the food
Love this! 😂 I always enjoyed the blooper for the series 2 episode Rise of the Cybermen where jackie tyler tries to callnthe dog playing the dog version of rose and the dog barks at her and runs away, and camille who plays jackie just looks really offended and laughs! 😂😊
last scene with McCoy and 1st scene with amy the doctor in a brand new body says" have i got the body of someone who no-one listens too...........again"
For more than fifty years I remained convinced that I had seen a lorry pass the end of a lane in London when all traffic had been banned by the Daleks. Last year, I watched the episode again. No lorry. Had I imagined it, or had someone edited it out of the video?
It baffles me that there aren't very many Bradley Walsh bloopers for DW. They must have so many.... I mean The Chase just puts questions on their specifically to make him get the giggles now... He's so funny when he's trying not to laugh.
This is going to sound horrible, and I apologize in advance-- But please, when recapping bloopers, don't lead in with a minute long explanation that gives away the actual blooper before we've seen it. Picture this: "Here's a fantastic vaudeville comedy sketch with comedians Bud Abbot and Lou Costello called "who's on first", and it makes fun of the ambiguity in the English language about certain words when they're used as names, like "Who", "What" and "I don't know!". It's absolutely hilarious as Costello gets increasingly frustrated trying to find out the names of the players while Abbot delivers increasingly strange names with a straight face!"-- and proceeds to show 10 5 second clips from the sketch, with each one explained before we see it. Your channel (and it's not the only one) has done this in the past, and it's terribly frustrating-- there is no possible way to actually *enjoy* the bloopers being presented. All the mystery, entertainment and humor has been mercilessly ripped out of clips that are shown in a terribly abbreviated format. For me, it's even worse, because you're going to be hard pressed to show a blooper I haven't seen-- and presented like this, it's just impossible to enjoy. I absolutely know I sound like the curmudgeonly old man yelling at clouds, and I'm terribly sorry, but this (and similar clip compilations) feel like several of you were sitting around, and someone says "Hey, remember that Doctor Who clip where the actor playing Shakespeare got a phone call in the middle filming? That was funny!", and so you gather a bunch of other funny clips, and put it in a clip show-- but you're presenting it as a funny thing YOU (and you're a lovely person, with a great sense of humor, so please don't take this as an attack) remember, rather than a funny thing you want someone else to experience. Picture instead, you lead in with "Doctor Who frequently visits the past, and historical episodes have their own sets of challenges, such as making sure there aren't any Starbuck's cups in shot, and no one's wearing a smartwatch, and then after ensuring no continuity gaffes, the lighting and sound are just right, and just as the camera starts rolling... this happens. *shows clip of Shakespeare's phone ringing*. Yes, I know the phone looks old enough to be from the 16th century, but it's just an old Nokia-- and it actually was the actor's agent calling". OK-- I have yelled at clouds, chased kids off my lawn, and complained about the high price of hammers. I will go away now, and look forward to your next videotape. ;)
Beautifuly written, has a flaw though. Your ideal presenting wouldn't actually work here, since they very clearly announce the bloopers in each chapter's titles. So there's simply no spoilers, you're watching a video presenting 10 of DW bloopers. For actually seeing all the bloopers (and mostly for the first time ever), you'd have to watch a different video at all, not a presentation list.
When I watched the idiots lantern I actually remember thinking “how did they film this it must have been so ridiculous to have Billie standing there blank faced and David having to not laugh or react lol
Sorry what?! Matt came up with catching River like that? Damn he was even better than I thought. For a first filming block it's insane how in character Matt was, but he clearly had a great grasp on the show as a whole in that first series. The whole opening to Time of Angels is a masterpiece, and series 5 as a whole is a masterclass in beginning a new era of the show and taking on a new lead.
Another fun-fact. The word "outtakes" is more common in the U.K. and "bloopers" sounds like a description of a fish is likely used to gain American views.
One of my favourites is in S2s second to last episode. You know when Ten goes left out a door, then gets corrected to go the other way? Blooper. Tennant forgot which way to go, so the Torchwood lady, forget her name, stayed in character to correct him, saving yhe take and making a brilliant scene.
That last bit with the 7th Doctor... that was their last episode and they knew it. Everyone, cast & crew, knew the show would be put on indefinite pause, and they just had a laugh. I wish the clips were longer tho.
3:16 Reminds me of the first verse of _Rubber Toy,_ by surrealist Scottish poet/singer Ivor Cutler: "Once I was a little boy, I had a rubber toy - Oi, oi, oi, what a toy! I opened up its lips and spat in lots of pips Now my toy is full of forest"
10 Bloopers you need to see? But you didn't actually show us any bloopers, only pieces of them interrupted by much less interesting commentary. Generally, I like your videos. Not this one. I would have preferred to see the ENTIRE blooper, uninterrupted, with commentary only at the beginning and end.
You didn't even include Tom Baker's "Yeah you never fucking know when it's important" to K9? XD EDIT: Or was that even Tom Baker? I know he had a soundalike...
Any chance we can actually see the bloopers with a little less exposition? The scenes have been heavily edited by WhoCulture and have virtually no run-in or audio.
The best blooper ever is when the Sister comes into to Martha who has tea and she sniffs the air and Freeyma off screen is laughing, "Are you all right?" THIs makes the other actress smile and break character to chasitze Freeyma. "Freeyma!" "I"m so sorry," Freema laughs.
"the angel is full of forests....hang on, no. the Forest is full of angels" totally would of been an In character line for the eleventh doctor to say. He was quirky, Funny, and often mixed up lines throughout his run. Had matt smith caught that he made a mistake he could of acting 101 and improvised it into something that 11 would of said and may well of been a better line. Remember, During this scene 11 was attempting to comfort Amy while Guiding her through the forest with he eyes closed. This could of been seen as him using Humor to do so, while still being serious.
Remember that "White Pwder Christmas" was a refence to a brand of 2" videotape that as it aged clogged the VTR heads with a white powder. Memorex I believe. Not an illegal substance.
Your channel would be so much more interesting if you understood the maxim "show, don't tell". Let us see the bloopers properly rather than you talking over them.
I appreciate this collection, and I don’t mind you hosting it. But can you at least show the clips in their entirety? Like there were way too many cutaways. This a copyright thing?
I hope now with RTD back we get to see more bloopers from the show!! thats what I have missed most, as well as the storylines. I remember the cyberman sketch in the park , Im freeeeee :D
