The former (thankfully) manager in our small town WAS the problem. I found of really cute things mounded up on a display behind the ONLY open register. I started picking some of them (with the red trucks and really cute Christmas decor - in Dec 2019) up and the manager said, "Those are mine." She always picked over everything before it went out on the floor. Thankfully, she is gone now & our manager is now good. DT still sends mediocre stuff.

The managers at my dt are scary. I saw one yelling at an employee for not taking a break and he kept apologizing. She kept putting him down because he wasn’t smart But he had a long line and she didn’t do anything. Isn’t that her job? To step in and take everyone on another register so he could go on break?

The two by my house are horrible as well. Their shelves are never stocked and an older woman who works there and seems to have to do all the work told me they have to keep their bathrooms locked because employees were doing drugs there! It's insane! I'm a teacher and quite a few of my coworkers and I have contacted corporate about these stores. I did see some new staff in there this weekend and it seemed cleaner...so hopefully it will get better.

I’ve been to every Dollar Tree store in the Raleigh/Durham area, Henderson, and other towns, and NONE look like yours. There are some that look good, but are nowhere as large or well stocked. We have a few that are neat, but many look like an explosion in a mattress factory.

i can relate. i have about 6 i’m willing to branch out to and they’re all so different. one loooves candy & hates crafts and the other loooooves crafts and hates candy. lol. also the restrooms.. there are either none at all, hell holes or beautiful clean long hallways of a mens, womens, & family restrooms.

Yeah about 2 months ago I went to Dollar tree a couple of them I actually had to go like to a few of them and a lot of them had hardly anything on the shelves I think it had a lot to do with the pandemic or it was just that they didn't get a lot of workers to put the stuff out. So it's like a hit and miss. But since I've been watching her for years a little over 10 now. I've found a lot of things at the Dollar tree because of her. And everything she's recommended that I have bought works!

Our Dollar Trees refuse to say the days they receive shipments, even if asked kindly and politely. I think it’s due to the trauma they went through during the worst of the pandemic. We have never had yarn, die cut bins, hardly any storage items or crafting items. I still hold out hope I will be able to one day order some things online in reasonable quantities like you mentioned in your video. Thank you so much for all your encouragement!💜💖

My DT got the pastel bins in!! I bought enough to FINALLY organize under my kitchen and bathroom sink. The little clasp containers were perfect to hold my bobby pins and hair ties! Love!!! I gotta go back and get little chalkboard labels... I gotta be honest, I had those beautiful clear acrylic bins in my Amazon cart and all together it was going to cost me $180. I only spent $12!!!!

So, I have experienced all of the discouraging comments mentioned. But it’s up to me to turn that around so I can have a fun & productive DT experience. The best DT store is 35 mins away. I pack up the grandkids, give them each $5, and away we go! The kids love having their own money to spend & choosing anything they like. I have to have a list or I spend HUNDREDS! Yes, hundreds! I don’t have any creativity, but I can replicate anything! The grandkids, & big kids, do ornament making before the holidays. Now, the grandkids see items & point out how great that would be to make next year’s ornaments! In the buggy they go! When the grandkids come back to our house, they want to see how I used all that stuff from Dollar Tree! It gives them ideas how to organize their (messy) rooms. Thanks Kathryn! Your videos have enhanced our family’s experiences! ❤️

The selection of garden supplies this year is AMAZING!!!! Dirt, seed starter, seeds.....the stacking pot are adorable. Three pot areas, and they have the filler pots to fit. I spent 10 dollars for six stackers and the filler pots to use in them. It will be beautiful with assorted flowers. They also have cute plant signs and fertilizer sticks, tools, gloves, jute twine, soaker hoses, climbing plant trellises, and pots galore. I have spent about 80.00 dollars this year to start my garden. It would have cost me 4 to 5 times as much at any other store.

I live in a very small rural place so while my Dollar Tree isn’t neArly as big as Kathryns it is always clean and neat! I have made it a point to shop there more often for other household items just to help drive sales and encourage a lot of people I know to shop there. I think COVID has helped drive sales too... no one wants to go to Walmart... the only other place to get a lot of same type of featured items. Thank you Kathryn for your videos they have so inspired me... I walked through my little store the other day and thought so many times “oh I could do something cute, cool, or useful with that”. My family jokes they are the $20 dollar tree cause you can’t walk out without spending at least that!!!

I have never seen a work wreath with the stems already attached at any Dollar Tree I have been in. I will definitely be looking for these. I love the new spring containers. I have bought some already to organize my crafting and office supplies. Love the light turquoise color.

My store carries yarn.....and it always goes fast.....they also carry knitting needles and crochet hooks. I bought the crochet hooks. They work well and they are 2 for a dollar.

Thanks, Kathryn, for showing what you find at the dollar tree. I was at my local DT only yesterday and found some awesome crafters square stickers, a cute Easter door sign, some flowers so I can make faux recycled paper. And books! I use DT books to make altered hardback journals but first, I do read the books. I think I found seven novels yesterday. Perhaps my very best find was a package of 20 small zipper bags that are about 3“ x 5“ and that are perfect for storing some of the tiny craft items I use. One store in my city is clearly heads and shoulders above the rest. The one I shopped in yesterday is the second best store. ♥️

Hi Kathryn! Love your videos! I see a lot of comments that say their DT store looks nothing like in this video and I agree... some areas have not so great DTs. But I also find, that if you venture out & drive a little... maybe to the next town over or to a big shopping plaza, that you will find bigger & better DTs 😊! That’s how I found mine! With a HUGE crafters section! I couldn’t believe my eyes! It’s about an 11 minute drive from my house in an area where I never would’ve thought would have all these things, just like in the video! Quality & Variety!
