1, 4 and 5 is basically 80% of my wardrobe covered with most of my daily fits. That sand/beige knit top with light brown trousers is my fav, I often gravitate towards something similar as well.

I have this problem that an outfit might look nice with a jacket on, but as soon as you're inside and you take it off you're just a guy with black trousers and a grey hoodie...

Understand what you mean, should defo consider what the outfit looks like without a jacket! And nothing wrong with a solid hoodie and trousers combo haha

To make the fit more elevated with just the trousers and the hoodie, make sure that you also accessorize as well. Like by having a side/crossbody bag on you, some bracelets, rings, or with a beanie, can make that simplistic outfit to be more chic
